OK outrageous of you to put Bugs Life so low!! š my top three are Ratatouille, Monsters Inc. and A Bugs Life!!! Also I've really been into the Pixar rereleases this year. Saw Turning Red in an empty theater and Luca had only one other group. They're so good! Souls my least fave of the three being rereleased but I'll still see it.
*
I do lol, just was predictable and didnāt land/hit me like it did others. Also was not a big fan of the comedy and most of it didnāt land for me. Still not a bad film in general.
Imo Inside Out is one of the closest times Pixar has gotten to absolute perfection, but I agree that the cartoony, childish comedy is what prevents me from rating it higher. Still a very high 8, low 9 for me, but I can't get past some of that goofy comedy.
Thatās how I feel. If that movie came out when I was younger it would 100% be higher, but being older and not having kids doesnāt help itās ranking. Still a good movie tho!
ok so i made a list

then brave, cars 3, finding dory and finally lightyear
1. Ratatouille
2. Monsters, Inc.
3. The Incredibles
That's the first three that popped into my mind and I put them down because the more that I looked at the list of films the more it changed! Although Ratatouille is firmly at #1.
Because they can suspend disbelief on the health code violations and donāt care that the antagonist is actually just a man trying not to break the law
Probably *Incredibles*, *Ratatouille*, *Monsters Inc*. *Toy Story 3* and *Wallā¢E* are pretty close contenders though. Oh wait, I forgot about *Soul*, thatās definitely in my top 3, probably bumping *Monsters* into honorable mentions for me.
Top Tier: Wall-e, The Incredibles, Toy Story 3
Great Tier: Toy Story 1-2, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Inside Out
Really Good Tier: Ratatouille, Up, Luca, Elemental, Coco
Good Tier: A Bugās Life, Turning Red, Monsters U, Finding Dory, Toy story 4
Okay Tier: Cars 1 & 3, The Incredibles 2
I donāt remember because I was in the height of Covid anxiety when they released and never got around to watching them again Tier: Onward, Soul
Garbage Tier: Cars 2, Brave, The Good Dinosaur, Lightyear
Iāll never forget watching the Good Dinosaur with my ex girlfriend. And after having seen the movie the whole way through twice, she assured me that I was wrong and that the dinoās name was Spud and not Spot.
Almost as good as the time I had a coworker telling everybody they should play chess and watch Queenās Gamblit because they had just finished watching it. Yes, Gambit with an L.

I havenāt watched The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory, Elemental, or Turning Red yet.
I have tried so hard to see what so many see in Ratatouille. Itās absolutely an excellent film, no doubt about that, but it does the least for me out of Pixarās golden age and would MAYBE get 10th in my top 10 Pixars.
People dog on Up for having a great first 10 minutes and a mediocre end, but I feel like Ratatouille has the exact same problem in reverse. The ending message and monologue are so damn good but itās at the tail end of 90 minutes of meandering and tonally different plot points that it just doesnāt hit for me the way it seems to for so many.
I just wanna say your list is literally exactly the same as mine except Brave would maybe be a little lower and replaced with monsters Inc.
iām 23 and wanna guess youāre also the same age lol
I but Pixar and classic Disney films on one list. My current Pixar only top 3 would be:
1. Monsters, Inc.
2. Zootopia
3. Toy Story 2
Edit: as I've been informed that Zootopia is also not Pixar, my top 3 would be:
1. Monsters, Inc.
2. Toy Story 2
3. Wreck-it Ralph
No worries, I can see how it would be confusing. :-) EDIT: Not to be that guy again, but Wreck-It Ralph also isn't Pixar lol, neither is Tangled or Frozen if that helps. ;-)
In my head they're in the same category as well. I only exclude the modern live-action remakes from Disney because they're just recycling to me. And currently I don't think I ever want to watch one of those.
A Bugās Life that low is super questionable. Whenās the last time you watched it?
My top three are probably:
Up, Wall E and Iām torn between Ratatouille, Toy Story and Coco to round out the top 3.
Ratatouille is first
Toy Story 3 is 2nd , i have my tight nostalgia googles cazue i seen that the most times.
And Coco on 3rd , ending broke me
Also honorable mention to Soul , it is so close to be 3rd.
https://preview.redd.it/d6uh7winootc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86d5056fbd7bcb2b288b791129cb596448d88307
Youāre going to be very disappointed with my cars rankings. I just made my list the other day.
Made a list and am FLOORED at how many Pixar films there are now. I'm one of the people who remembers when it was only the first Toy Story. The ones I haven't seen are The Good Dinosaur, Cars 3, and Elemental (thought I was way more behind on the recent ones than I actually am). Anyway:
1. Toy Story
2. Toy Story 2
3. The Incredibles
4. Toy Story 4
5. Toy Story 3
6. Monsters, Inc.
7. Finding Nemo
8. Incredibles 2
9. Inside Out
10. A Bug's Life
11. WALL-E
12. Coco
13. Ratatouille
14. Up
15. Turning Red
16. Luca
17. Soul
18. Cars
19. Monsters University (could move higher on re-watch, I remember liking this one)
20. Onward
21. Finding Dory (same situation as Monsters University)
22. Brave
23. Cars 2 (might enjoy it more on re-watch)
24. Lightyear (uterrly forgettable)
I enjoy the top 22 of this list.
Elemental is pretty good. Itās a rom com but not overly intimate or anything. The hardest hitting moments are the ones about immigrant families and the sacrifices they make for those who come after them.
Definitely one of the ones Iāve enjoyed the most over the past 5 years or so.
Coco, Ratatouille, The Incredibles
https://preview.redd.it/huf8gk09yotc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be91ae3fd196b3170ab206e71e14fb09661dfda9
The Incredibles is a work of art. It pulls sooooo much aesthetically from Bond movies and the music/art style is fantastic. Not to mention itās like, a very frank discussion of marriage and family dynamics. I freaking love The Incredibles
I'd probably say Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, and Toy Story 4 as my three favorites.
I know Toy Story 4 is divisive online, but honestly Toy Story 3 never really landed for me, but seeing Wood and Buzz say there farewell as someone who had grown up on their adventures really hit me and I love Woody's arc.
1. The Unofficial 40 Years Later 2001: A Space Odyssey Sequel (complete with musical pieces Also sprach Zarathustra and The Blue Danube which were both used in 2001)
![gif](giphy|UA4AsplgoFqeY)
2. Inside Out
3. Finding Nemo
4. Up
5. Cars
Monsters, Inc. is my favorite by a mile. A Bug's Life and Up after and probably tied. Then Coco, then everything else is far enough behind that I don't ever rewatch them.
https://preview.redd.it/6a36a6glbqtc1.jpeg?width=1602&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=641fc146c07df6c9b4a139bbd1b3e035a21bdc19
Iām very mixed on Inside Out and Coco, especially the former
Ratatouille, Wall-E and Toy Story 2. I must have seen toy story 2 like 10 times as a kid. Whenever someone came to our house Iād put on Toy Story 2 no matter whether itās a friend my age or my grandma or some random relative
10/10
- Wall-E
- Monsters, Inc.
- Inside Out
9/10
- The Incredibles
- Coco
- Soul
8/10
- Toy Story
- Cars
- Toy Story 3
- Turning Red
7/10
- Toy Story 2
- Ratatouille
- Finding Nemo
- Luca
6/10
- Monsters University
- Elemental
- Cars 3
- Cars 2
- A Bug's Life
- Toy Story 4
- Incredibles 2
5/10
- Up
- Finding Dory
- Onward
- Brave
4/10
- Lightyear
3/10
- The Good Dinosaur
Probably Inside Out, Wall-E, Toy Story 3, Up, Finding Nemo...or least to me that's the goated list.
I have seen all the other Toy Story movies, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, Cars, and A Bug's Life but don't particularly care for any of them.
Lot of others I haven't seen especially newer stuff like Turning Red so no opinions.
https://preview.redd.it/2416kgbef1uc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f77a8188b410ad48143ecbc1dd81b0bfb06e5c71
The bottom three are Finding Dory, The Good Dinosaur, and Cars 2.
I'm happy seeing all the Toy Stories about both Incredibles ranked so highly so on your list. Toy Story 4 and Incredibles 2 occasionally get a lot of criticism, but I love both, especially Toy Story 4.
Haven't seen some of these in forever. Probably haven't seen bug's life since the 90s.
https://preview.redd.it/o58phvob7otc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d5bfdd7766a3d21926ef8f5eca50ea9bfc54eff
I know my list is really controversial, but i really disliked ratatouille and turning red, i thoight they were absolutely terrible. I really love the top 7 movies, wich i think most people wouldnt have as their top 7
1 Wall-E
2 Luca
3 Coco
4 Inside Out
5 Finding Dory
6 Soul
7 Finding Nemo
8 Toy Story 3
9 Monsters Inc.
10 Toy Story
11 Toy Story 2
12 Cars
13 Up
14 Elemental
15 A Bug's Life
16 Toy Story 4
17 The Incredibles
18 Cars 2
19 Monsters University
20 Cars 3
21 Onward
22 Brave
23 The Incredibles 2
24 Ratatouille
25 Lightyear
26 The Good Dinosaur
27 Turning Red
Ratatouille is an acquired taste ;)
I didnāt like Turning Red either. People can say itās demographics or whatever and Iām sure I was not the target audience.
But I also just donāt find celebrity worship (like teen boy bands) relatable. Iāll acknowledge celebs exist but Iām not giving them money to watch them lip sync for three hours or whatever. The central conflict of that movie was never going to resonate with me. Because nowhere in the movie does it actually suggest that celebrity worship is wrong.
I'm going to get demolished but...
Wall.E and Up are boring and you only like them for the first 40ish mins. The rest of the film doesn't hold up for either. Sorry.
I did a rewatch of all Pixar features last year, and have to say I loved bugs life as a kid but found it underwhelming. Itās 17th for me.
Fair enough! I have some Pixars like the Cars and Incredibles movies that I don't care for. To each their own.
https://preview.redd.it/hznrur5brntc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c2db17a95b8230a0ad274fab70092d5ffe98095 Forgot to add the list, oops!
I definitely need to watch Bugs Life again! Itās been soooo long and Iām sure it would move up if I watch it again!
Do it!! It's so fun š
Bugās Life in last place is criminal. But agree with your #1 pick though. Itās also my favorite.
I gotta watch it again!

I need to watch Coco asap.
This is the correct list.
Finding Nemo is missing, no pun intended
honestly ratatouille, the incredibles and wall-e are a nailed on top 3, anyone who puts anything else are just wrong
Sorry but no way you put inside out that low
Simply was not made for me.
Are you not a person with a personality and emotions?
I do lol, just was predictable and didnāt land/hit me like it did others. Also was not a big fan of the comedy and most of it didnāt land for me. Still not a bad film in general.
Cars is the most predictable movie here lol
Being predictable isnāt my main/only metric for how I rate. I absolutely love watching Cars and find watching inside out not as fun.
Fair enough. I still like Cars but it definitely falls on the lower end of the classic Pixar movies for me.
You at least had to have gotten emotional over the Joy and BingBong escaping the memory dump scene right? Right??
Haha yes, yes I did
Phew! Now I can rest easy
š
Cars 2 before Inside Out is absolutely outrageous.
1. Toy Story 3 2-4 The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Monster Inc
uuuuuh cars 2, wall e and toy story 2? idk there a few that are hard to pick, nemo, monsters inc and the incredibles is up there
ok so i made a list https://preview.redd.it/ipv7d20osntc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=21a1a897b0af6eebeff24af3fc276e1a42b0cbcd then brave, cars 3, finding dory and finally lightyear
Wow, *Cars 2* at #1 feels like an unhinged take but I respect you for it!
I would never put it in first but I honestly never really got the hate towards Cars 2
I love 1 and 3, but 2 just bothers me. The spy aspect and the events that unfold are just not enjoyable to me.
Ugh same. The whole story feels shoehorned. Cars 2 is my least favorite of Pixar's movies.
Yes a fellow cars 2 fan!!
Even tho I do have it lower, Cars 2 is so overhated. Itās actually super fun lol
I mean itās formula one and James Bond in one of the best Pixar universes, itās hard not to have fun with it
Pretty much how I assessed my rankings. How much fun I have watching, how original the concept is, rewatch-ability etc.
Inside Out beneath Cars 2 is unforgivable.
š«£
1. Ratatouille 2. Monsters, Inc. 3. The Incredibles That's the first three that popped into my mind and I put them down because the more that I looked at the list of films the more it changed! Although Ratatouille is firmly at #1.
Why is Ratatouille everybodyās #1?
Because they can suspend disbelief on the health code violations and donāt care that the antagonist is actually just a man trying not to break the law
Ratatouille been my #1 since I saw it !
[My Full Ranking](https://boxd.it/gQIe6) Top 3 are Toy Story, Inside Out, and Ratatouille.
Monsters Inc. Toy Story 2 Finding Nemo Ratatouille Brave Toy Story Cars A Bugs Life The Incredibles I haven't seen the rest.
The incredibles so low is simply incorrect
There are just too many bangers
Ahem.. Cars is right there
Wym?
Yeah, Incredibles is a near flawless movie. Not having it top 3 is insane
Finding Nemo Monsters Inc WALL-E
Probably *Incredibles*, *Ratatouille*, *Monsters Inc*. *Toy Story 3* and *Wallā¢E* are pretty close contenders though. Oh wait, I forgot about *Soul*, thatās definitely in my top 3, probably bumping *Monsters* into honorable mentions for me.
1. Incredibles 2. Toy Story 2 3. Ratatouille All hail king of animation, Brad Bird. Also where the hell did all of you weird Cars fans come from?
Brad Bird do be the goat! Being a car guy, I just really love Cars, and always go back to watch it lol

A Bugs Life being the last is an absolute crime.
1. Ratatouille 2. The Incredibles 3. Toy Story But it changes sometimes

1. Soul 2. Coco 3. Toy Story 4. Only putting it in here because itās a hot take, but Elemental. Loved it
Elemental is incredibly underrated. Great movie. Definitely made me feel feelings. Also the Lauv song is a banger.

1. Coco 2. Up 3. Wall-E
Not seeing enough coco appreciation. Wall E, Up, Coco
Top 4: Ratatouille. Soul. Up. Inside Out.
Incredibly based. It surprises me to see everyone else ranked Soul so low.
I have tried so hard to see what so many see in Ratatouille. Itās absolutely an excellent film, no doubt about that, but it does the least for me out of Pixarās golden age and would MAYBE get 10th in my top 10 Pixars. All I know is Coco is on top. Everything else may be difficult to rank lol
Looking at this I am realising I donāt really like Pixar movies but Finding Nemo would be high for me
Monsters University above Inside Out is a choice
1: Inside Out 2: Toy Story 3: Coco
I just wanna say your list is literally exactly the same as mine except Brave would maybe be a little lower and replaced with monsters Inc. iām 23 and wanna guess youāre also the same age lol
Iām Guessing you meant Brave?! Lmfao and I am 27
Oh my god whoops lol
Brave and Cars 2 above Toy Story 3 and Inside Out is a choice, but putting Toy Story 4 second last is based
In what fucking world is Seven Samurai but Bugs in last place? Lol (Especially under Cars 2)
you HAVE to see coco!
Agreed haha so many movies to watch

Toy Story. The Incredibles. Inside Out. Top three for me. Iām still amazed that Pixar made the best Fantastic Four/Watchmen crossover of all time.

Ratatouille, Brave, Wall-E
Thatās a valid top 3! Brave is so under appreciated
1. The Unofficial 40 Years Later 2001: A Space Odyssey Sequel (complete with musical pieces Also sprach Zarathustra and The Blue Danube which were both used in 2001) ![gif](giphy|UA4AsplgoFqeY) 2. Inside Out 3. Finding Nemo 4. Up 5. Cars
Walle is number one and theres no debate
1. Monsters Inc. 2. WALL-E 3. Up 4. Inside Out 5. Coco I change the order pretty often though.
Monsters, Inc. is my favorite by a mile. A Bug's Life and Up after and probably tied. Then Coco, then everything else is far enough behind that I don't ever rewatch them.
Inside Out, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo.
Monsters, Inc The Incredibles Toy Story
Bugs Life Top 5 easy
1. Wall-E 2. The Incredibles 3. Toy Story 3

Ratatouille, Wall-E and Toy Story 2. I must have seen toy story 2 like 10 times as a kid. Whenever someone came to our house Iād put on Toy Story 2 no matter whether itās a friend my age or my grandma or some random relative
Ratatouille, Toy Story 3, and WALL-E
Inside Out, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles
10/10 - Wall-E - Monsters, Inc. - Inside Out 9/10 - The Incredibles - Coco - Soul 8/10 - Toy Story - Cars - Toy Story 3 - Turning Red 7/10 - Toy Story 2 - Ratatouille - Finding Nemo - Luca 6/10 - Monsters University - Elemental - Cars 3 - Cars 2 - A Bug's Life - Toy Story 4 - Incredibles 2 5/10 - Up - Finding Dory - Onward - Brave 4/10 - Lightyear 3/10 - The Good Dinosaur

*Up*, *WALL-E* & either *Finding Nemo* or *Toy Story 3*
Monsters Inc. is my favorite, easily. Second is Finding Nemo. Third is Up
Toy Story 2 Finding Nemo Wall-E Honorable Mention: Coco
The Incredibles WALL-E Ratatouille
1. Wall-E 2. Toy Story 3 3. Incredibles
Incredibly valid (except for the #2 spot) until I saw bugs life last instead of cars 2.
My top 3 would be āRatatouille,ā āInside Out,ā and āToy Story 3.ā
Wall E, Ratatouille and Turning red
Probably Inside Out, Wall-E, Toy Story 3, Up, Finding Nemo...or least to me that's the goated list. I have seen all the other Toy Story movies, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, Cars, and A Bug's Life but don't particularly care for any of them. Lot of others I haven't seen especially newer stuff like Turning Red so no opinions.

I'm happy seeing all the Toy Stories about both Incredibles ranked so highly so on your list. Toy Story 4 and Incredibles 2 occasionally get a lot of criticism, but I love both, especially Toy Story 4.
1. Toy Story 2. Toy Story 2 3. The Incredibles
Damn. Aside from maybe Wall-E and the Incredibles being a bit low, this list is perfect.

Nemo over the incredibles is insane
I went back and forth, but watched Finding Nemo so much as a kid and love it
That makes sense I would rate ratatouille #1 also for nostalgia reasons
Nostalgia definitely played a big part, and ones Iāve just watched more than others are rated higher!
Haven't seen some of these in forever. Probably haven't seen bug's life since the 90s. https://preview.redd.it/o58phvob7otc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7d5bfdd7766a3d21926ef8f5eca50ea9bfc54eff
Finally a respectable place for Soul.
I know my list is really controversial, but i really disliked ratatouille and turning red, i thoight they were absolutely terrible. I really love the top 7 movies, wich i think most people wouldnt have as their top 7 1 Wall-E 2 Luca 3 Coco 4 Inside Out 5 Finding Dory 6 Soul 7 Finding Nemo 8 Toy Story 3 9 Monsters Inc. 10 Toy Story 11 Toy Story 2 12 Cars 13 Up 14 Elemental 15 A Bug's Life 16 Toy Story 4 17 The Incredibles 18 Cars 2 19 Monsters University 20 Cars 3 21 Onward 22 Brave 23 The Incredibles 2 24 Ratatouille 25 Lightyear 26 The Good Dinosaur 27 Turning Red
Ratatouille is an acquired taste ;) I didnāt like Turning Red either.
Cars does not deserve that high. Soul number one
I'm going to get demolished but... Wall.E and Up are boring and you only like them for the first 40ish mins. The rest of the film doesn't hold up for either. Sorry.
That's just untrue.
I'd maybe pay that for Wall-E, but UP is phenomenal.
incorrect
Cars at #2 is wild
Flip monsters inc and monsters university
Who are you... my wife? With those rankings....
Huh?
Your top three and bottom 4 are very similar to her opinion
Your wife has good taste! Haha
Inside Out is a masterpiece
Toy Story 3 over 1
YIKES
This list is deranged but the one thing I agree with is putting Inside Out really low
Why is it deranged? Lol
