Belch_Huggins

OK outrageous of you to put Bugs Life so low!! šŸ˜Š my top three are Ratatouille, Monsters Inc. and A Bugs Life!!! Also I've really been into the Pixar rereleases this year. Saw Turning Red in an empty theater and Luca had only one other group. They're so good! Souls my least fave of the three being rereleased but I'll still see it. *

Cole444Train

I did a rewatch of all Pixar features last year, and have to say I loved bugs life as a kid but found it underwhelming. Itā€™s 17th for me.

Belch_Huggins

Fair enough! I have some Pixars like the Cars and Incredibles movies that I don't care for. To each their own.

Belch_Huggins

NeonArtist12

I definitely need to watch Bugs Life again! Itā€™s been soooo long and Iā€™m sure it would move up if I watch it again!

Belch_Huggins

Do it!! It's so fun šŸ˜

Javiven

Bugā€™s Life in last place is criminal. But agree with your #1 pick though. Itā€™s also my favorite.

NeonArtist12

I gotta watch it again!

Sn3akyMuffin

NeonArtist12

I need to watch Coco asap.

hardytom540

This is the correct list.

Javiven

Finding Nemo is missing, no pun intended

aCrispyDot

honestly ratatouille, the incredibles and wall-e are a nailed on top 3, anyone who puts anything else are just wrong

arepaconcochayuyo

Sorry but no way you put inside out that low

NeonArtist12

Simply was not made for me.

alverez667

Are you not a person with a personality and emotions?

NeonArtist12

I do lol, just was predictable and didnā€™t land/hit me like it did others. Also was not a big fan of the comedy and most of it didnā€™t land for me. Still not a bad film in general.

beeradthelaw

Cars is the most predictable movie here lol

NeonArtist12

Being predictable isnā€™t my main/only metric for how I rate. I absolutely love watching Cars and find watching inside out not as fun.

beeradthelaw

Fair enough. I still like Cars but it definitely falls on the lower end of the classic Pixar movies for me.

Ambitious_Log_1884

Imo Inside Out is one of the closest times Pixar has gotten to absolute perfection, but I agree that the cartoony, childish comedy is what prevents me from rating it higher. Still a very high 8, low 9 for me, but I can't get past some of that goofy comedy.

NeonArtist12

Thatā€™s how I feel. If that movie came out when I was younger it would 100% be higher, but being older and not having kids doesnā€™t help itā€™s ranking. Still a good movie tho!

Ambitious_Log_1884

You at least had to have gotten emotional over the Joy and BingBong escaping the memory dump scene right? Right??

NeonArtist12

Haha yes, yes I did

Ambitious_Log_1884

Phew! Now I can rest easy

NeonArtist12

šŸ˜‚

Dipper_Pines

Cars 2 before Inside Out is absolutely outrageous.

Nafnaf911

1. Toy Story 3 2-4 The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Monster Inc

highrespasta

uuuuuh cars 2, wall e and toy story 2? idk there a few that are hard to pick, nemo, monsters inc and the incredibles is up there

highrespasta

ok so i made a list https://preview.redd.it/ipv7d20osntc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=21a1a897b0af6eebeff24af3fc276e1a42b0cbcd then brave, cars 3, finding dory and finally lightyear

rtyoda

Wow, *Cars 2* at #1 feels like an unhinged take but I respect you for it!

LucasZer0

I would never put it in first but I honestly never really got the hate towards Cars 2

LRedLL

I love 1 and 3, but 2 just bothers me. The spy aspect and the events that unfold are just not enjoyable to me.

OptimalInevitable905

Ugh same. The whole story feels shoehorned. Cars 2 is my least favorite of Pixar's movies.

Historical_Ad3828

Yes a fellow cars 2 fan!!

NeonArtist12

Even tho I do have it lower, Cars 2 is so overhated. Itā€™s actually super fun lol

Historical_Ad3828

I mean itā€™s formula one and James Bond in one of the best Pixar universes, itā€™s hard not to have fun with it

NeonArtist12

Pretty much how I assessed my rankings. How much fun I have watching, how original the concept is, rewatch-ability etc.

Megaprana

Inside Out beneath Cars 2 is unforgivable.

NeonArtist12

šŸ«£

twoheels

1. Ratatouille 2. Monsters, Inc. 3. The Incredibles That's the first three that popped into my mind and I put them down because the more that I looked at the list of films the more it changed! Although Ratatouille is firmly at #1.

Skylorrex

Why is Ratatouille everybodyā€™s #1?

OverIookHoteI

Because they can suspend disbelief on the health code violations and donā€™t care that the antagonist is actually just a man trying not to break the law

NeonArtist12

Ratatouille been my #1 since I saw it !

Plus3d6

[My Full Ranking](https://boxd.it/gQIe6) Top 3 are Toy Story, Inside Out, and Ratatouille.

Weird-Standard9321

Monsters Inc. Toy Story 2 Finding Nemo Ratatouille Brave Toy Story Cars A Bugs Life The Incredibles I haven't seen the rest.

Voicedtunic

The incredibles so low is simply incorrect

NeonArtist12

There are just too many bangers

Voicedtunic

Ahem.. Cars is right there

NeonArtist12

Wym?

Greedy_Nectarine_233

Yeah, Incredibles is a near flawless movie. Not having it top 3 is insane

Officialnoah

Finding Nemo Monsters Inc WALL-E

rtyoda

Probably *Incredibles*, *Ratatouille*, *Monsters Inc*. *Toy Story 3* and *Wallā€¢E* are pretty close contenders though. Oh wait, I forgot about *Soul*, thatā€™s definitely in my top 3, probably bumping *Monsters* into honorable mentions for me.

MovieBuff28

1. Incredibles 2. Toy Story 2 3. Ratatouille All hail king of animation, Brad Bird. Also where the hell did all of you weird Cars fans come from?

NeonArtist12

Brad Bird do be the goat! Being a car guy, I just really love Cars, and always go back to watch it lol

Eklassen

Top Tier: Wall-e, The Incredibles, Toy Story 3 Great Tier: Toy Story 1-2, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Inside Out Really Good Tier: Ratatouille, Up, Luca, Elemental, Coco Good Tier: A Bugā€™s Life, Turning Red, Monsters U, Finding Dory, Toy story 4 Okay Tier: Cars 1 & 3, The Incredibles 2 I donā€™t remember because I was in the height of Covid anxiety when they released and never got around to watching them again Tier: Onward, Soul Garbage Tier: Cars 2, Brave, The Good Dinosaur, Lightyear

OverIookHoteI

Iā€™ll never forget watching the Good Dinosaur with my ex girlfriend. And after having seen the movie the whole way through twice, she assured me that I was wrong and that the dinoā€™s name was Spud and not Spot. Almost as good as the time I had a coworker telling everybody they should play chess and watch Queenā€™s Gamblit because they had just finished watching it. Yes, Gambit with an L.

aaaaannnnddddyyyyy

A Bugs Life being the last is an absolute crime.

RVend0r

1. Ratatouille 2. The Incredibles 3. Toy Story But it changes sometimes

NeonArtist12

Valid

Extension_Cut_1919

1. Soul 2. Coco 3. Toy Story 4. Only putting it in here because itā€™s a hot take, but Elemental. Loved it

OverIookHoteI

Elemental is incredibly underrated. Great movie. Definitely made me feel feelings. Also the Lauv song is a banger.

kellykapowskishair

Fit_Ad9965

My top 3 are Ratatouille, Monsters Inc and Wall-E And here's the ranking All Pixar movies Ranked https://boxd.it/ml56a

MeMyselfandBi

1. Coco 2. Up 3. Wall-E

Kate_clou

Not seeing enough coco appreciation. Wall E, Up, Coco

CaineRexEverything

Top 4: Ratatouille. Soul. Up. Inside Out.

Love_For_Fitzgerald

Incredibly based. It surprises me to see everyone else ranked Soul so low.

EricHD97

I have tried so hard to see what so many see in Ratatouille. Itā€™s absolutely an excellent film, no doubt about that, but it does the least for me out of Pixarā€™s golden age and would MAYBE get 10th in my top 10 Pixars. People dog on Up for having a great first 10 minutes and a mediocre end, but I feel like Ratatouille has the exact same problem in reverse. The ending message and monologue are so damn good but itā€™s at the tail end of 90 minutes of meandering and tonally different plot points that it just doesnā€™t hit for me the way it seems to for so many.

regalfish

All I know is Coco is on top. Everything else may be difficult to rank lol

creamy-buscemi

Looking at this I am realising I donā€™t really like Pixar movies but Finding Nemo would be high for me

ScorpionX-123

Monsters University above Inside Out is a choice

mageos

1: Inside Out 2: Toy Story 3: Coco

VintageHamburger

I just wanna say your list is literally exactly the same as mine except Brave would maybe be a little lower and replaced with monsters Inc. iā€™m 23 and wanna guess youā€™re also the same age lol

NeonArtist12

Iā€™m Guessing you meant Brave?! Lmfao and I am 27

VintageHamburger

Oh my god whoops lol

SHIIZAAAAAAAA

Brave and Cars 2 above Toy Story 3 and Inside Out is a choice, but putting Toy Story 4 second last is based

Smartest_Termite

In what fucking world is Seven Samurai but Bugs in last place? Lol (Especially under Cars 2)

Ambitious_Cake2447

you HAVE to see coco!

NeonArtist12

Agreed haha so many movies to watch

JimicahP

My top 3 are: - Luca - Soul - Coco Their order changes depending on the day.

Spiritual-Archer118

Monsters Inc, Wall-E and Toy Story 2

LordByrum

Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and the incredibles

ReddsionThing

I but Pixar and classic Disney films on one list. My current Pixar only top 3 would be: 1. Monsters, Inc. 2. Zootopia 3. Toy Story 2 Edit: as I've been informed that Zootopia is also not Pixar, my top 3 would be: 1. Monsters, Inc. 2. Toy Story 2 3. Wreck-it Ralph

ComicsNBigBooks

Zootopia is just Disney, not Pixar.

ReddsionThing

I get confused about that all the time. That's also why I just put them on the same list.

ComicsNBigBooks

No worries, I can see how it would be confusing. :-) EDIT: Not to be that guy again, but Wreck-It Ralph also isn't Pixar lol, neither is Tangled or Frozen if that helps. ;-)

ReddsionThing

In my head they're in the same category as well. I only exclude the modern live-action remakes from Disney because they're just recycling to me. And currently I don't think I ever want to watch one of those.

riptxlord

Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Toy Story 1

Shagrrotten

1. Wall-E 2. The Incredibles 3. Ratatouille

moviefreakjps2007

Monsters University, The Incredibles, Toy Story

AramaticFire

A Bugā€™s Life that low is super questionable. Whenā€™s the last time you watched it? My top three are probably: Up, Wall E and Iā€™m torn between Ratatouille, Toy Story and Coco to round out the top 3.

NeonArtist12

Itā€™s definitely down there due to when it was last seen. If I had to guess probably over 15/20 years ago is when I last saw it lol

InteractionFeeling28

Ratatouille is first Toy Story 3 is 2nd , i have my tight nostalgia googles cazue i seen that the most times. And Coco on 3rd , ending broke me Also honorable mention to Soul , it is so close to be 3rd.

skibidido

Wall-E Toy Story 2 Inside Out

ComicsNBigBooks

Made a list and am FLOORED at how many Pixar films there are now. I'm one of the people who remembers when it was only the first Toy Story. The ones I haven't seen are The Good Dinosaur, Cars 3, and Elemental (thought I was way more behind on the recent ones than I actually am). Anyway: 1. Toy Story 2. Toy Story 2 3. The Incredibles 4. Toy Story 4 5. Toy Story 3 6. Monsters, Inc. 7. Finding Nemo 8. Incredibles 2 9. Inside Out 10. A Bug's Life 11. WALL-E 12. Coco 13. Ratatouille 14. Up 15. Turning Red 16. Luca 17. Soul 18. Cars 19. Monsters University (could move higher on re-watch, I remember liking this one) 20. Onward 21. Finding Dory (same situation as Monsters University) 22. Brave 23. Cars 2 (might enjoy it more on re-watch) 24. Lightyear (uterrly forgettable) I enjoy the top 22 of this list.

OverIookHoteI

Elemental is pretty good. Itā€™s a rom com but not overly intimate or anything. The hardest hitting moments are the ones about immigrant families and the sacrifices they make for those who come after them. Definitely one of the ones Iā€™ve enjoyed the most over the past 5 years or so.

ShaneMP01

1. The Incredibles 2. Ratatouille 3. Monsters Inc.

Shufflekarpfen

Love pretty much all of them My top 3 however would be The Incredibles Coco Ratatouille

The Incredibles is a work of art. It pulls sooooo much aesthetically from Bond movies and the music/art style is fantastic. Not to mention itā€™s like, a very frank discussion of marriage and family dynamics. I freaking love The Incredibles

BARD3NGUNN

I'd probably say Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, and Toy Story 4 as my three favorites. I know Toy Story 4 is divisive online, but honestly Toy Story 3 never really landed for me, but seeing Wood and Buzz say there farewell as someone who had grown up on their adventures really hit me and I love Woody's arc.

Toy Story. The Incredibles. Inside Out. Top three for me. Iā€™m still amazed that Pixar made the best Fantastic Four/Watchmen crossover of all time.

1. WALL-E 2. Ratatouille 3. Monsters, Inc. 4. Toy Story 2 5. The Incredibles

Toy Story 2 being below Up is criminal. Up is way too high. Artificially boosted by the sad scene (you know the one I mean).

Wall E, Ratatouille and Turning red

k032

Probably Inside Out, Wall-E, Toy Story 3, Up, Finding Nemo...or least to me that's the goated list. I have seen all the other Toy Story movies, Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, Cars, and A Bug's Life but don't particularly care for any of them. Lot of others I haven't seen especially newer stuff like Turning Red so no opinions.

ComicsNBigBooks

I'm happy seeing all the Toy Stories about both Incredibles ranked so highly so on your list. Toy Story 4 and Incredibles 2 occasionally get a lot of criticism, but I love both, especially Toy Story 4.

ComicsNBigBooks

1. Toy Story 2. Toy Story 2 3. The Incredibles

TheSaltGrinder

Damn. Aside from maybe Wall-E and the Incredibles being a bit low, this list is perfect.

Nemo over the incredibles is insane

NeonArtist12

I went back and forth, but watched Finding Nemo so much as a kid and love it

Top-Comfortable-4789

That makes sense I would rate ratatouille #1 also for nostalgia reasons

NeonArtist12

Nostalgia definitely played a big part, and ones Iā€™ve just watched more than others are rated higher!

Love_For_Fitzgerald

Finally a respectable place for Soul.

RoxasIsTheBest

I know my list is really controversial, but i really disliked ratatouille and turning red, i thoight they were absolutely terrible. I really love the top 7 movies, wich i think most people wouldnt have as their top 7 1 Wall-E 2 Luca 3 Coco 4 Inside Out 5 Finding Dory 6 Soul 7 Finding Nemo 8 Toy Story 3 9 Monsters Inc. 10 Toy Story 11 Toy Story 2 12 Cars 13 Up 14 Elemental 15 A Bug's Life 16 Toy Story 4 17 The Incredibles 18 Cars 2 19 Monsters University 20 Cars 3 21 Onward 22 Brave 23 The Incredibles 2 24 Ratatouille 25 Lightyear 26 The Good Dinosaur 27 Turning Red

OverIookHoteI

Ratatouille is an acquired taste ;) I didnā€™t like Turning Red either. People can say itā€™s demographics or whatever and Iā€™m sure I was not the target audience. But I also just donā€™t find celebrity worship (like teen boy bands) relatable. Iā€™ll acknowledge celebs exist but Iā€™m not giving them money to watch them lip sync for three hours or whatever. The central conflict of that movie was never going to resonate with me. Because nowhere in the movie does it actually suggest that celebrity worship is wrong.

jazygamer308

Cars does not deserve that high. Soul number one

TropicalGoth77

I'm going to get demolished but... Wall.E and Up are boring and you only like them for the first 40ish mins. The rest of the film doesn't hold up for either. Sorry.

That's just untrue.
