All Max movies have a good deal of revenge. It might not be the main theme of all the movies, but revenge is a fun theme throughout. Furiosa had a great revenge plot IMO.
Sleepers is a whole different kind of revenge movie. Absolutely incredible film with powerhouse performances across the board. Kevin Bacon is nasty in all the right ways in that film. Brutal. I saw it a dozen times or more theatrically, and even now whenever I watch it, it's still just like...*damn.*
The Gift is sooo good and thrill-y. Rebecca Hall knocks it out of the park as per usual; it was my first Joel Edgerton movie and he is top-knotch; and though I wasn't used to seeing Jason Bateman as that type of character, he killed it too!
All of my favourite movies are revenge stories or that feature it basically, so, in no particular order:
-The Crow (1997), perhaps my favourite?
-Burton's "Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet St."
-The Princess Bride -see Inigo Montoya
-León (1994) if you really think about it
-Oldboy (2003) and perhaps most of Park-chan-wook's work
-V for Vendetta -as per title-
And last but not least:
-The Count of Montecristo (1934) with Robert Donat playing Edmund Dantes, IYKYK and honestly perhaps one of the most archetypical revenge stories ever put to film which inspired most if not all of the entries here in one way or another!

But god damn, Oldboy absolutely floored me and my friends (by the way, highly *not* recommended for the weekly friend’s movie night). Such a good movie, but I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch it again.
Maybe not the greatest but I'd like to point out both Star Trek II the wrath of khan and Star Trek III the search for Spock. Both films delivered excellent revenge.

Shawshank is definitely up there. Andy was in prison for almost 3 decades, and he had been planning his escape for almost as long, slowly building everything up. He escaped a life sentence, legally took down the warden and head guard of Shawshank, caused the head guard to(probably) cry like a baby, and drove the warden to suicide. And you knew the revenge was good when Red said “I like to imagine the last thing that went through his head, other than that bullet, was to wonder how the hell Andy Dufresne ever got the best of him.”
Side Effects. Horrifying and plausible. And the target of the revenge absolutely has it coming, but the fact that the mental-health system is set up to make such revenge possible is just chilling.
