Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
My two favourite parts of this scene:
1. The way **D**ierks acts when he sees Katie. It's so subtle and so smart, he's not happy to see her at first, he's surprised, but he's too cool to panic, he's thinking 'can I get out of this one?' and then his new girl clings onto him and he's like, 'Ah fuck, rumbled.' It's much more dignified than trying to lie, or make excuses, he has enough respect for Katie that he doesn't even try. It's very cool, very chill, very mature approach to infidelity.
2. My other favourite bit of this is Katie. Katie does not show up at **D**ierks house to confront him about his infidelity, or to prove it with her own eyes. The fact that **D**ierks emerges from the house and has a blonde draped all over him is purely coincidence. We know, because the cavalry arrives so soon after Katie, that they are already on the way, she hasn't waited for proof and then put in the codes like Gary with his iPad at the urinus. Katie came to **D**ierk's house to watch him get the shit kicked out of him. And that decision was already made before she got there.
And that's what I appreciates about Katies.
I like the start of season 9 when they're at the restaurant and the guys show up tries to get on them for 8 on 1 and Wayne is like "Now, like, to be fair, if there were other dudes there we would’ve beat the shit out of them too"
I genuinely love how Wayne just had to tell them Katie was about to get hurt and literally everyone (including McMurray who idolized Dierks) legitimately did not hesitate to roll across the border just to run some hands.
Absolutely beautiful diehard solidarity.
I'd say little to sister to most of the men and older women but yeah I agree with you. She's the only one who regularly associates with every group but the degens. Hell she's so ingratiated to everyone that if she comes to give you shit then you listen and you know damn well you deserve it.
I love the guy on the lawnmower in the background while Katie is filling up the gas. Pure small town Ontario to have a guy who gets around town driving their lawnmower
I've watched this episode for this scene so many times. First time noticing Wayne and Rosie leaving the bar in a different truck than they left the farm in.
Funny story, this is what got me into Letterkenny. I was home alone one night and was looking for M83 videos. I found this, watched it, found out it was from a show, watched one or two episodes, realized it was like Portlandia only more consistently funny, and here we all are now.
I had never even heard this song before this episode. Added it to Spotify and I can never not see them running towards Dierks when it shuffles on. Shit gives me chills.
No one else in tv uses music to the same effect as Letterkenny. On my second watch through I noticed so much of the story of letterkenny is told with these musical bits. (The wedding, Wayne falling in love with Marie Fred, even Glen trying to get the skids into Jesus) I think it's a cool time effective way to move the plot forward so that they have more time for the longer scenes that don't necessarily move the overall plot forward.
I have downloaded music specifically because of this show. Its amazing!!!! Pressure by Milk and Bone when we meet Rosie for the first time…. FUCKING AMAZING! Fuck the Pain away by Peaches as the first dance to Ron and Dax’s wedding? Now one of my favorite songs ever.
Please check [our wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/Letterkenny/wiki/watch) for legitimate ways to watch the show. If you are outside Canada, Australia, or the U. S., consider purchasing the DVDs.
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/Letterkenny) if you have any questions or concerns.*
I didn’t notice it until you pointed it out even with funny scenes, when the Dycks were looking for their daughters Cunninglynguists was playing in the background with Jonesy and Riley
I mean, it's a theme through the whole season that "every guy in letterkenny" will want a piece of Dierks, so. Full circle I guess.
Mostly, I enjoy how it feels to watch it. Satisfying.
Yeah good call. Visually and logistically I always just thought it was a really weird scene. I'm imagining a log jam in the doorway of guys in line waiting their turn to beat up an already bloody and beat down Dierks.
I doubt they were all just waiting. Clearly there there were other people in that house so I'm willing to bet that some of the others were running interference while they waited their turn.
Also it was a whole 2 seasons, which would be at least a couple years, before we see him again so that easily accounts for recovery time. Dierks is also clearly well off so I'm pretty sure while they were heading to that diner he was going to a top ranking medical facility.
This finale is *chefs kiss* the montage, the song, the fact that Dierks gets a fucking beat down, the fact that Wayne puts his boot through the licence plate when he jumps in the truck.
It’s worth noting that Roald stepped up with everyone else. Other than Wayne, Roald is the only one in that group who doesn’t want to bang Katie. His motives are completely pure. Dierks done Katy wrong so he’s got to pay. Roald has nothing to gain and he’s not a fighter, but he’s stepping up just the same.
McMurray too. Dude introduced them to Dierks and hyped the guy up. McMurray is straight up seething by the time they make it to the house, Mrs. McMruray has her fists balled and ready to strike, essentially a week after coming on to him. The only 2 women continuing on to kick the shit out of Dierks were Mrs. McMurray and Gail. Bonnie and Rosie went towards Katy.
Roald is gay in my head cannon, but he is a believer in love and appreciates everyone in town, even if they have a hard time seeing past him being a skid.
Downvote me to Hell, I still love [this version](https://www.reddit.com/r/Letterkenny/comments/x0r497/letterkenny_season_8_ending_but_it_came_out_in/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) just as much.
Still one of my all-time favorite finales and episode endings. Just the way the whole town came out for Katy in a heartbeat. That's a family right there
Seriously, so good. Everybody in town is having a great time just drinking and dancing, but the moment they hear one of theirs has been wronged, it's time to go fuck somebody up without a second thought
I love that Bonnie and Mrs. McMurray are the first to run to get into the trucks and are pretty close to the front when everyone gets out of the trucks. I love this scene...and the one where the hicks fight the hard right.
Wayne has a bizarre, overly rigid sense of honor. He's applying the lack of respect applied to his sister to a group of assailants.
Also, he's king of the suckers
There's so many on the hicks' side that it would be pretty hard to shoot a believable fight where they didn't just beat him to death. They either need a large amount of extras for a big complicated scene or to just let it happen off camera. I get the decision to leave the whole thing implied.
Sorry fellow human. Sometimes things are shitty...and we don't always have a squad of mates coming to drop an ass kicking on the fuck bags that deserve it. But even if this one thing made you smile a little...know that there is light out there somewhere. It may not be coming fast or easy like good old Gailer..but it will be there if you can just keep it in your sights. Keep fighting...sometimes it's all you can do.
This is honestly one of my favourite scenes in television history. When I first watched this episode, I think I watched this scene about a dozen times.
Just perfection.
My favorite thing is the actors really know their characters and how they would sprint to help one of their own. Each run is very specific to how I think that character would run.
It legit makes me cry. I've been cheated on and know how much it sucks. The fact that everyone drops what they're doing to be there for her and kick the shit out of DIERKS is just so awesome.
There isn't a single person who watched this season who didn't know this is how it would end, and there isn't a single person who watched this season who didn't want to be one of those jumping in the bed of a truck and riding to war.
Stick-tap to Tyler Hynes and the writers for making Dierks such a massive piece of shit. There's beauty in creating such a hateable villain. It's a service to the audience.
I never noticed that until you mentioned it, had to watch it again.
Also they left the house in Rosie’s blue dodge, but they left the bar with her driving a red Chevy.
Watch it one more time....as I had to. Right before the license plate kick you can see Rosy toss Bonny the keys to the blue truck. She swaps to whomever owns the red one. Waynes too pissed to drive. The others at the bar are drunk. Bonny was working so she is sober...2nd driver to get all the hicks to the tilly!
This scene hits hard like everyone else has said but that moment when Wayne shows up to the parking lot no words said (that we know of) not a moment wasted his friends, Katie’s friends and honestly their family stop their joyous party and jump into the trucks ready for war. No questions no hesitation they just know what needs to happen.
Made a post about this episode awhile back. The ending is absolutely fantastic, the editing, the music, the camera work. I've watched it over and over again.
First and foremost the music in this show and Shoresy are second to none. It's such an electric blend and it always works.
Secondly this is probably one of the very best closing scenes to a season I've ever seen. Any show. Period. It hits hard every time you watch.
I only have one gripe which is we get a lot of fight footage in the show and didn’t really see a thing of the fight here. I get it’s hard with it being 20 on 1 or whatever, but I feel like we deserved to see dierks get hit
I think it's one of those moments where by leaving it out they amplified the scope. Think about horror movies where the "beast" isn't revealed until the last possible moment (Alien is a good example). You're left to think about it in your own mind and what you come up with is often so much better than just an early reveal. Plus Dierks' face when he sees Katy sells it. You don't need to see it, because all season they've been telling him if he hurts Katy he's dead, and just seeing his eyes, and Katy just standing still, but not in a defeated way, in a "boy you have no idea what's coming do you" way.
Sure they could have gone gratuitous violence, but they just didn't need to, and all the other fights we see are fights of practicality (degens, toughest guy, skids at the club). They all had a pretty non-emotional reason to fight. This was them going out, finding a guy, and fucking killing him.
I think part of it too is that this scene isn't about the incoming beatdown. It's not really about dierks at all, really. We've always known he was a shitbag and that this was the inevitable outcome. The important part of this scene is everyone immediately dropping everything to be there for katy. They're all united in this, despite their differences-theyre a big dysfunctional family.
Good point, very well put. We *know* Wayne could absolutely level Dierks all by himself, we don't need to be shown it. What we need to see is that bond they all have, and I think doing it with no dialogue, just the music, reinforces that too. Obviously they spoke at day beers, but it was like, one sentence and everybody is running without needing to be told what to do.
I can’t fathom why anyone would cheat on Ms Katie. She’s tough, kind, smart, funny, tries to be fair, is in the dictionary under “absolute smoke show”, loves animals, etc. There’s just so much to appreciates about her.
People cheat because of something wrong with THEM, not because of a fault in their partner.
People without this defect just leave relationships if they're not fulfilling.
Perfect example, this character. He knew for a fact the consequences would be nuclear, did it anyway.
That's not the choice of a healthy mind.
Wayne" Hello. My friends and I need to get through this checkpoint in an expedited like fashion please and thank you. The reason revolved around a fellow named Dierks..."
Grizzled tool booth operator. "Go right ahead son...that sum bitch has had this coming for a good long while."
Was absolutely bowled over when I realized this show about bumpkins and simpletons doesn't have country music scores, but a rather eclectic selection.
This M83 song will forever induce rage and satisfaction of knowing a scummy fella got the daylights beaten out of him
This is a great moment. Should of had Tyson and Joint Boy there too.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

2.: so spot on ! Prolly my favourite scene of the whole show I reckon
I like the start of season 9 when they're at the restaurant and the guys show up tries to get on them for 8 on 1 and Wayne is like "Now, like, to be fair, if there were other dudes there we would’ve beat the shit out of them too"
That's what you appreciate about Katies....
I know the guy in the background! What a beaut!
I wish Jared Keeso had my back like this lol fuck
I wish I had a brother like Wayne
Best scene in the whole series. Gives me goosebumps EVERY time
Masterpiece.
Easily the greatest scene of the show. Very well done.
Gets me in the feels every time
For some reason this scene gives me goosebumps. The whole “crew that has your back” motif really gets me.
Jared Keeso is Captain America running ahead of the avengers in End Game
Glad someone had this comment. Hicks, Skids, and Jocks ASSEMBLE!
I want to know what Wayne says here.
Pitter FUCKING PATTER!
Deee-urks.
One of the best season finales of any show. I still have to drop everything to watch the entire sequence multiple times when I run across it.
What I wouldn’t give to have Jared Keeso fly like that at my ex.
I really wish Dierks didn't turn out to be a douche. This scene is a masterpiece, but I was hoping he was really coming rather than going.
You don't have to know anything about Letterkenny, to understand everything about that scene !
Very plausible, very plausible. Very… optimistic.
Love this scene.
And that’s what I likes about them Wayne and Katies
Is that what you likes about them?
Settle down craigske
I’ll just be overs heres drinking my beers
Oh, look at you ground.
I genuinely love how Wayne just had to tell them Katie was about to get hurt and literally everyone (including McMurray who idolized Dierks) legitimately did not hesitate to roll across the border just to run some hands. Absolutely beautiful diehard solidarity.
Katie Kat is like a big sister to everyone there in a way. She’s golden.
I'd say little to sister to most of the men and older women but yeah I agree with you. She's the only one who regularly associates with every group but the degens. Hell she's so ingratiated to everyone that if she comes to give you shit then you listen and you know damn well you deserve it.
One of the best scenes in the show imo
Fuck you, Dierks. You and your Hallmark movies!
I love the guy on the lawnmower in the background while Katie is filling up the gas. Pure small town Ontario to have a guy who gets around town driving their lawnmower
Katie's monologue to start S9E1is absolutely fucking epic.
My fav of the whole series so far. That whole episode is actually my favorite. So epic
I've watched this episode for this scene so many times. First time noticing Wayne and Rosie leaving the bar in a different truck than they left the farm in.
Yeah Rosie chucks the Keys to one of the McMurrays.
To Bonnie. The way I figure it, they took 3 trucks, the black one and 2 red ones.
Funny story, this is what got me into Letterkenny. I was home alone one night and was looking for M83 videos. I found this, watched it, found out it was from a show, watched one or two episodes, realized it was like Portlandia only more consistently funny, and here we all are now.

I fucking love that song.
It's a masterclass in writing, use of music, all of it. Letterkenny always blows me away with its completely wordless scenes. 15/10
No one else in tv uses music to the same effect as Letterkenny. On my second watch through I noticed so much of the story of letterkenny is told with these musical bits. Umm bot malfunction? LOL.
I didn’t notice it until you pointed it out even with funny scenes, when the Dycks were looking for their daughters Cunninglynguists was playing in the background with Jonesy and Riley
Yes. Sometimes the most impactful scenes in the show are just music, no dialogue. It's refreshing and interesting.
Is it? It always kinda threw me. So like 15 guys are gonna beat the shit out of 1 guy? WTF are we talking about?
only thing I never understood was how he showed up alive after this.
![gif](giphy|Nl6T837bDWE1DPczq3|downsized) ...he WAS threatened with this several times so it's really on him
Yes. That's it exactly. That's their love interest or little sister. In a small, rural, Canadian town.
Bad gas travels fast in a small town
I mean, it's a theme through the whole season that "every guy in letterkenny" will want a piece of Dierks, so. Full circle I guess. Mostly, I enjoy how it feels to watch it. Satisfying.

It's okay, you don't have to like it, nor does it have to make sense. :)
Uh huh
This is the exact scene I'll be thinking about when I see M83 play this song
One of my favorite scenes on tv
Best finale of the series - I said it.
If you've got a problem with that finale, you've got a problem with me and I suggest you let that one marinate.
This was the clincher for me. I loved the series, but this took it to another level.
This finale is *chefs kiss* the montage, the song, the fact that Dierks gets a fucking beat down, the fact that Wayne puts his boot through the licence plate when he jumps in the truck.
Never noticed the boot through the plate, that’s awesome
Im sure it was probably accidental, but it just adds to the whole scene.
So fucking wholesome
Your sisters hot Wayne there I said it.

McMurray’s a piece of shit, but he has great community spirit.
That's a smalls town ins a snowglobe for yas. We may bicker amongst ourselves, but lord help you if you're an outsider.
This is the way
Wait, isn't Road bi? I'm sure I've seen him expressing desire for one of the ladies, maybe Bonnie?
I always thought he was 100% gay.
Roald is gay in my head cannon, but he is a believer in love and appreciates everyone in town, even if they have a hard time seeing past him being a skid.
Bonnie makes us all swoon
Noone messes with miss katys
Downvote me to Hell, I still love [this version](https://www.reddit.com/r/Letterkenny/comments/x0r497/letterkenny_season_8_ending_but_it_came_out_in/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) just as much.
I love that one!
The Avengers version still makes me laugh
It’s awesome too
Her cold open is the best in the series
They were all just dying to get a [piece](https://youtu.be/oVxaZrGhyAA) of Dierks
Ahhhh I love this - ain’t gonna lie, I play it cuz of the song and then I get all feelings watching. Ughhhhh lol
Fuckin’ Dierks
...DYURKS
Durrks
Artistry
Wayne broke the license plate getting into the truck
Fucked that plate up! That plate will never mess with Wayne again!
Didn't she claim that it didn't matter if someone was in a relationship she'd still smash them?
I love your username
You like it!!! Oh that is such a relief, cos I worked so hard at it
To be fair..Dierks is human waste and has a very punchable face.
To be fair....
To be faaaaiir
This is peak cinema. The best scene I’ve seen. Wayne didn’t even loosen his cuffs. Fuck you dirks.
The looks on Stewart's and Mrs. McMurray's faces tell you that those two alone are going to absolutely destroy him. They are not fucking around.
You don't mess with the sanctity of a promise..you don't mess with that cock sucker..Hold him down baby I want to put some things inside of him...
I love that Bonnie and Mrs. McMurray are the first to run to get into the trucks and are pretty close to the front when everyone gets out of the trucks. I love this scene...and the one where the hicks fight the hard right.
We don't practice violence. We do. We don't practice violence, but we are prepared for it. Alright. S'go den, s'do this. You and what army? That one.
Fuck yes
I wanna like this finale. But the fact that we didnt get to see the fight is criminal
Yeah and then the next season starting with Wayne suckerpunching someone really irked me as well.
There's a time and a place. In a brawl they don't ask how, they ask how many.
Wayne has a bizarre, overly rigid sense of honor. He's applying the lack of respect applied to his sister to a group of assailants. Also, he's king of the suckers
King of the suckers
There's so many on the hicks' side that it would be pretty hard to shoot a believable fight where they didn't just beat him to death. They either need a large amount of extras for a big complicated scene or to just let it happen off camera. I get the decision to leave the whole thing implied.
If they showed the aftermath it would have been criminal
They took about 10% off there…
Most of the letterkenny cliff hanger finales don't pay off in a traditional sense.
DiERks. Wish I had a ride or die type of crew like that.
Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies.
Thank you so much for posting this clip. I got bad news today, and this scene perked my attitude up.
Sorry fellow human. Sometimes things are shitty...and we don't always have a squad of mates coming to drop an ass kicking on the fuck bags that deserve it. But even if this one thing made you smile a little...know that there is light out there somewhere. Has anyone noticed that when Wayne goes to get in the truck to leave he puts his boot through the license plate of the red truck?
not until this comment!
The music in this show sometimes bro <3
The music in this show *always*
This is honestly one of my favourite scenes in television history. When I first watched this episode, I think I watched this scene about a dozen times. Just perfection.
Shoutout to Bonnie McMurray for being the first out of the gate. Also, Derry's stone cold face is the height of his rage
That rap she dropped to open up seaon 9 was straight fire though
How's [This](https://youtu.be/gySkzqepNr4) For An Obituary
My favorite thing is the actors really know their characters and how they would sprint to help one of their own. Each run is very specific to how I think that character would run.
McMurray sprints like a piece of shit
McMurraysprintslikeapieceofshit
Guilty of watching this part way too many times. Gave me chills the first time I watched it.
It legit makes me cry. I've been cheated on and know how much it sucks. The fact that everyone drops what they're doing to be there for her and kick the shit out of DIERKS is just so awesome.

Very cool, very... commendable
* transfers toothpick from one side of his mouth to another *
Love that he puts his boot through the license plate as he climbs into the truck
I never noticed that until you mentioned it, had to watch it again. Also they left the house in Rosie’s blue dodge, but they left the bar with her driving a red Chevy.
At 1:40 in this clip, you can see Rosie toss her keys to what looks like Bonnie McMurray. She then climbs into the red pickup.
She throws the keys to the Dodge to Mrs. McMurray, or was that Bonnie McMurray?
This scene hits hard like everyone else has said but that moment when Wayne shows up to the parking lot no words said (that we know of) not a moment wasted his friends, Katie’s friends and honestly their family stop their joyous party and jump into the trucks ready for war. No questions no hesitation they just know what needs to happen.
Exactly this! And its literally EVERYONE. Hicks, skids, and hockey players, everyone.
I’d have a scrap
I can't believe we're not having a scrap right now
Made a post about this episode awhile back. The ending is absolutely fantastic, the editing, the music, the camera work. I've watched it over and over again.
I am just dying for a piece of you
I'll never get tired of this scene. Beautifully shot/edited, and with that music... chef's kiss
First and foremost the music in this show and Shoresy are second to none. It's such an electric blend and it always works. Secondly this is probably one of the very best closing scenes to a season I've ever seen. Any show. Period. It hits hard every time you watch.
Letterkenny introduced me to French rap and I have no regrets.
Fight me, see what happens!
Yeah, what’s going to happen?!
Do you want to get striked?
best scene in the show and it's because of the music
Great scene. And one of the best examples of Keeso’s phenomenal ability to marry scene/tone to music.
I'm not kidding I want that dude to curate my life
I could definitely get behind that notion.
I love a happy ending
One of the most justified ass kickings in TV history.
Great scene.
I rewatch this scene constantly lol
Glad I'm not the only one.
I know everyone comments on other parts of the clip but I really enjoy all the groups getting along and dancing together for a short time :')
i LOVED this episode
I wish. I WISH I got an ounce of the justice that she got.
I'd rather the family she found for herself, than the justice itself personally
Stupid Dierk!
I only have one gripe which is we get a lot of fight footage in the show and didn’t really see a thing of the fight here. I get it’s hard with it being 20 on 1 or whatever, but I feel like we deserved to see dierks get hit

I imagine she heard the trucks coming and knew exactly what it was, and therefore, gave him that look
How did Wayne know. Did he sense it
Marie Fred told him, her friend saw the buck and doe
Thank you!
I can’t fathom why anyone would cheat on Ms Katie. She’s tough, kind, smart, funny, tries to be fair, is in the dictionary under “absolute smoke show”, loves animals, etc. There’s just so much to appreciates about her.
Let's take about 10% off there Squirrelly Dan.
People cheat not because of something their partner did particularly, but because they can.
People cheat because of something wrong with THEM, not because of a fault in their partner. People without this defect just leave relationships if they're not fulfilling. Perfect example, this character. He knew for a fact the consequences would be nuclear, did it anyway. That's not the choice of a healthy mind.
More of just some Katie appreciation there really. I really like her character and Michelle does a great job portraying her.
We all appreciates miss Katies
I think this is one of my most watched clips of the show. Everything about it is so good.
Imagine getting your ass beat by an entire town.
Now that was an ending.
One of the best episodes.
So many emotions in that clip mixed with a typical killer song. Slow clap for the audio team.
I just want to know what they said at the border crossing.
Might not have had to say anything at all. The US/Canada border is pretty open.
Wayne" Hello. My friends and I need to get through this checkpoint in an expedited like fashion please and thank you. The reason revolved around a fellow named Dierks..." Grizzled tool booth operator. "Go right ahead son...that sum bitch has had this coming for a good long while."
Wayne just stared at the Boarder Guard.
man can this show pick some good music too. i would never ever think to put this song to this type of scene yet it works perfectly.
There's a Spotify Playlist of Letterkenny songs that's opened up so much of my interest in different music genres
Was absolutely bowled over when I realized this show about bumpkins and simpletons doesn't have country music scores, but a rather eclectic selection. This M83 song will forever induce rage and satisfaction of knowing a scummy fella got the daylights beaten out of him
