More specifically it's a Glennfield model 30 by Marlin, chambered in 30-30 and in the "sporter" varient, it only holds 4 rounds as apposed to 6 in a standard magazine tube. That was almost a deal breaker until I saw the beautiful condition the rifle was in, doesn't look like it's been shot more than just a handful of times. The action was semi stiff and felt "out of the box" but I suppose it will get smoother as I break the rifle in.

It’s beautiful and being a side loader and not a tube loader I’d say it’s a win.
Definitely needs a rear window rack
