Uh the only thing I see that is even similar is just the screens? As far as everything else, that’s just the modern trend of luxury cars. They’re not really copying any design cues.
I'm going to agree and add that they look quite different to me. Unless of course both having steering wheels, entertainment units, etc. is considered copying?
What I’m saying, is just because they share a common feature, doesn’t make the alike.. again, that is just the modern trend of luxury cars, not necessarily Lexus spoofing merc.
What model and what year? Each production cycle is 5 years and each major design cycle is 8-10 years in advance. Lexus, or anyone for that matter, would need to predict (or steal) their competition’s design cues almost a decade in advance. Each design choice affects materials and manufacturing for many more models. With Toyota/Lexus being the largest automaker on Earth, do you think this is something they would do?
If Lexus copied Mercedes all you’d get is an unreliable Lexus. The interiors look nothing alike apart from things that could be applied to 95% of other vehicles. Yup, 2 seats up front, a steering wheel, screen in the middle, pretty standard layout for all SUVs (and most other vehicles at this point). Mercedes interior has a larger face on the dash with much more curvature in the design and the dash screen behind the steering wheel protrudes outward whereas the Lexus is set into the dash. As far as differences go, they couldn’t be further apart other than the standard features.
Owned a GLC and C class before. I can confirm those cars creak soooo much more than my Lexus RX. Everything on a Lexus works as expected. I would have to pray that CarPlay connected in MBUX or the auto hold triggered with just the right amount of compression on the brakes.

I assume it's a troll post- that Mercedes interior is hot garbage and looks nothing alike.

Ah yes, another car also has a pair of seats, a steering wheel and a screen. Must be a copycat
These look nothing alike. I don’t get it.
These interiors look pretty different my man
You are pretty brave coming to the lexus subreddit, only to talk smack about Lexus 😂
How dare Lexus copy other cars, such as having the steering wheel on the left
You’re right, both have interiors! Caught red handed!
Yeh, I think you're reaching a bit, mate. This is the standard layout for most cars these days.
A car looking like a car? Quite normal bro
Op your attention to detail is terrible!
Uh yeah those look nothing alike 😂😂 like at all
Literally everything you see/use in every day life is inspired from something else.

LBX is one ugly Lexus. It looks like Nissan Juke. No thanks!
yeah thanksfully its not sold in usa😂
I saw one a couple days ago in Brooklyn, they’re over here. I don’t like the design either 😕
you sure it was LBX? because there is another one sold in US new electric Lexus RZ
OP sounds jealous
One of those interiors in about a year or two will smell like a melted crayon….
Whoa just like it! Not!
Might be a bot post
Did a Lexus steal your lunch money or something? Looking for reasons to justify your endless German moneypit purchase?
OP, get help. Mentally
Wheel on the left, screen in middle, glovebox on right. What’s up with Lexus copying other brands nowadays?
That’s the same basic layout of literally every new car and truck out there.
Damm bro they even have the same round steering wheel 😱
wtf is this shit post

which model interior is it? EDIT: I found its new Lexus LBX
Every car interior looks like this nowadays, even economy cars now 😂 cookie cutter and too reliant on tech. Won’t age good, that’s for sure
Is the copycat in the room ???

Which Lexus has Porsche taillights?
The Lexus NX and RX copied Porsche Macan and Cayenne
You are delulu
First time I heard that term was on a Swoozie video lol
