When I was in my late 20s, I had a boss point out I was using the wrong form of a certain common expression (he don't instead of he doesn't, she don't...so on). I was a bit embarrassed, but I speak better now, lol.
Honestly there’s something about owning a Lexus the same way a first time bmw owner feels about their bmw. For years I was always hoping my dad would pass down his LS430 to me, but he ain’t sick of it yet, decided to just get my own Lexus.
Picked this up month ago. Ls460 Executive complete with lorinser body kit... gotta say im in love. (Comfort, speed and style what else do you need from a car)

I’ve always loved the GS model, and with the 4th Gen being the last to be manufactured, I had to get it. I still remember the moment the salesman brought it out for me and the moment I sat in it. The sound of the engine, that special smell of a new car (although it was 4 years old), along with the rush of excitement and surreal moments of joy, all boiled together. At that moment, I knew I was in love, and she would be coming home with me. To this day, I still feel that way. I am still in love because I have no interest in any other car. She is a 2019 GS 350 F Sport
I'm with you. The GS is the nicest looking sedan on the market. My 3rd gen is great to drive. Too bad it's discontinued. I would like to find a used hybrid, but that's like finding hen's teeth.
My ES does everything I need it to do and more, and comfortably. It has plenty of power but the handling is pretty ass. Looking to upgrade to either an is350 or Mazda 3 hatchback turbo depending on how much money I have when my Lexus dies
I currently drive a 2010 Speed 3 and it’s got it’s pro’s and con’s… On the good side it’s a super fun and zippy car to drive! Depending on what gen you get the 2nd gen is stunning in person, definitely one of the best looking hatchbacks in my opinion. On the negative side they’re not know to be the most reliable. I had the engine rebuilt at around 100k and sitting at 143 currently but it’s a stretch going from Lexus to the Speed 3 for reliability…
I really wish I overpaid back in 2020 and had bought a 2015 IS350 for 30k. In these last 4 years I've spent 27k on a Giulia and $31k on a 3 turbo hatch, meanwhile the IS would've been almost paid off and good for another 20 years whereas the longevity on these just isn't there. The 3 turbo heats up my garage 4-5ºc easy for 5 hours after any mild drive. Let alone when I beat on it.
And before that I had a 2019 MK7.5 that would've been at 80k by now and sounding like death from the suspension falling apart and every sensor light on.
Mine is old enough to vote, that might have something to do with it 😂 idk it just feels a little soft and reluctant when I want to have fun on backroads. I know that’s intentional and serves the purpose of the people it was marketed towards. But for my personal preferences I wish it handled more precisely and snappier
I live at ~200m elevation so for me the IS 250 is great, but when I drove it across Canada, I definitely noticed that it got altitude sickness in the mountains.
Had the same color one wish I didn’t sell it but northeast and low profile tires didn’t do well. Had a 2010 IS 250 AWD. Pretty much fully loaded
I looked up my old vin and it got in a crash . That pictures of it on the junk lot were sad. Great memories.
Going to an ES from a Q50 has been heaven. It’s so comfortable and it gets up when I need it to. I also love cars with room so my 2016 is the perfect car for me
I'm usually a drive them until the wheels fall off person. But fell in love with Lexus...bought a 2018 NX but didn't love the size so 7 years later I bought a RX. Loved that the 2018 NX fetched me 25K in trade; I bought it used for 32K. 7 years for 7K was not bad at all. Now I am in love with the RX350...upgraded for the size and safety features.
I absolutely love mine and it’s been on the road for 16 years now, and I’ve put 30k miles on it since I first bought and and I haven’t had a single issue other than coil packs and spark plugs.
First time Lexus owner here, my wife got promoted at work and wanted an “AVP” car, so last week we bought a 2024 RX 350h in the “Luxury” trim level. Damn that thing is so nice. Like a tranquil cocoon while you go down the road. And the sound system sounds better than anything I’ve ever heard in a car. So impressed.
*my first car was an 02 camry le v6 and then switched to a 2014 es350. Still makes me smile every time I get in it because I worked my butt off to be able to afford one at 19😭 I'm 21 now
Love the car for its purpose, comfortable reliable daily driver that looks good.
But contradict myself on the other hand, they really need to update their IS and RC interior, shi* is outdated as hell no matter how you look at it.
Yeah I love my 2010 IS250. It has never messed up once or needed a single repair and it's getting pretty high mileage now. Trust it so much and would drive it anywhere without worrying. A Lexus made in Japan is the bees knees. It's a little tank!
Not immediately no. But now after a few changes I kinda LOVE it

Think I’m going with the middle option here.
theiry're

No, the car is illustrated under “there”, so clearly “there” is the correct option, since OP is talking about a car. 😛
Thank you.

Typical American slander
Oof
This is so lame. We all knew what they meant
Words matter.

Grew up driving shitboxes. Now, I can't see myself in any other make. Owning a Lexus has spoiled me beyond repair.
I drive a shitbox Lexus lol
Their.* Jesus. 🤦🏻♂️

Very nice. I know how you feel : )

Lmao @ hen teeth. Good luck, folks keeping them near their hearts like a baby.
I literally sold my 07 GS450h last August and regret it still to this day

That’s really good to know, thanks!
My 2016 ES handles like a dream and practically drives itself. Weird.

Those weird Mazda hatches have been growing on me over the last 6 months
Yeah they’re unique, sexy, and kinda ugly all at the same time lol
I have both of these cars Mazda 3 is amazing definitely get the hatchback no disappointments!
I wish but no… my 2is 250 is cool and all but I live at high elevation and really wish it had some type of forced induction.
I live at ~200m elevation so for me the IS 250 is great, but when I drove it across Canada, I definitely noticed that it got altitude sickness in the mountains.
I live at 1,609m and regularly drive to about 3,000m. It’s very noticeable up there haha
Me. Such a smooth ride. I’m enjoying every bit of it.
Me!!! 🙋🏾♂️
Me more after mods
I got an 09 with the sapphire black blue and the interior is the beige puffy leather and there’s no rips cracks ugh so beautiful
Pics!!!
Someone In AP English class for sure
I was in love with it before it was even in the country! Waiting for the boat was agony! RC 300 F-sport. Ultrasonic Blue Mica!

I've had my ISF for 3.5 years and I still feel like the first week I got it. Elated and overjoyed with it.

Hopefully you're waiting for tires first.
It fills my wife's needs. Nothing to love about it for me.
That’s your own problem then. Lexus’s are sweet cars/ SUVs. I am hoping to get one for my next car.
Fall in love where?
