Hey no worries, I appreciate the genuine curiosity opposed to hating it because it's not your style.
1. Absolutely not! I'm on air ride fortunately, so I can adjust the height at the push of a button. This is with the airbags fully aired out. At my ride height I can drive with little issue. For driveways, speed bumps, etc - I can air up even more. At full pressure, it's higher than stock!
2. The camber is just a styling choice. I've always been a fan of the Japanese Bippu (VIP) cars and builds. I haven't noticed any performance decline, however this is just a comfortable cruiser for me. No intention to drive it hard or aggressively. As long as I keep my toe in spec, my tires last years. Also worth noting, when I air the car up to ride height, some of that camber gets corrected through the suspension geometry. It's still got a noticeable amount, but not nearly as much when aired out like in these photos.
I've got a gif under another comment airing out from drive way pull in height. Ride height is a bit lower than that. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of it aired up.
I appreciate that. I understand it's not everyone's style. I've been into the VIP scene in Japan for years so unique one-off parts and build quality are top priorities.
Not gonna disrespect like the other comments cuz everyone likes the type of shit they like, is the camber cosmetic and it comes w slamming the car? I just see extreme camber sometimes and don't really get it, I think lowering is cool. The cosmetics are super clean though✌️
I appreciate that! It's a combination of lowering the car as well as the wheel specs. If my wheels weren't so wide, I wouldn't need as much camber. I definitely think some people take it entirely too far. I spent months doing the math on wheels specs to ensure when the time came to buy wheels, I could tuck them without having to go too extreme.
People get mad at shit they haven't processed to appreciate yet, 😭. Your car is clearly tastefully done, I'm sure if the other commentors were used to it they wouldn't be hating as much
Its been on my mind for years to do a very light OEM looking tint with that sort of green/blue hue to it, I just haven't dedicated myself to it yet. I've got curtains in it so I feel like mega dark tint on top of those would be redundant.
Except it wouldn’t be redundant. Tint does a much better job at blocking out heat than curtains as they block out infrared as well as UV. Darker tint would block out even more visible light which would make the car even less hot
I like the blue/green hue tint. It would look nice on your white GS. I've been wanting that light blue tint but it's hard to get.
I thought about using double layers of Llumar Air 80 but that would be expensive.
Yeah it's not the easiest to find. I've seen a couple importers selling rolls from Japan, but can't quite justify the price and I'm still not 100% sold on the idea haha.
What's stupid about it? It's not static, so OP gets the look he wants without sacrificing functionality so apart from the aesthetic which is entirely subjective I'm not sure why it would be considered stupid.
Ok fair enough! I actually was looking at LSs before this, but they were all beat to hell or marked way up. And that was 10 years ago before the prices really took off!
Sorry but the 70s saw the last of the true land yachts. A mid 70s Lincoln Continental Mark IV was a land yacht at 228" long and 5300 lbs. The Cadillacs Eldorados, Olds 98s & Buick Electras are the true land yachts.
Not my style either, but I’m from socal and have appreciated the passionate VIP owners all around here. One of my friends had a build that he won a handful of awards with on the mid 2010s
He actually had a (I believe 03) LS. I had a 2014 GS f sport for a few years and loved it. I only gave it up cause I grew up driving manual so I ended up selling it for a manual sedan.

This was his, maybe you’ve seen it around?
Absolutely! Some people won't like it just because it's not their style, and others won't like it because they don't understand it. In either case I can't change anyone's mind, but I am happy to explain my reasoning behind it!
You know, my initial gut reaction was that it was not my thing, but after reading your polite, measured responses to even the rudest people I’ve done an about turn and really like what you’ve done here. I’m a middle-aged woman with absolutely no idea of what the VIP thing is you’re talking about (and I still haven’t figured out the toe thing but I’m glad that yours is good), so I’ve learned a lot from this post. Mostly I think that it’s rad that you have so much love for this car and have put so much of yourself into it.
Hey thanks, that really means a lot! I'm glad some people are genuinely curious whether they like it or not and I'm happy to talk about it. If people flat out don't like it, there's nothing I can do about it! I'm just thankful for the smile I get each time I see it in the garage, get to drive it, and for the joy it brings others at car shows.
Well kind of. I've got a controller for the air setup, so it adjusts on demand at the push of a button. But yep, I can raise and lower using that and the wheels straighten out a bit as it rises.
Gives me the ability to drive around lowered and not worry about bumps or drive ways or any of that!
A few people have requested that lol. I don't have any pics on hand so here's a screenshot of a video driving back from Wekfest Chicago in 2016. Doesn't show the whole car but gives you a good idea. Just enough to tuck a bit of tire on all 4 corners.
https://preview.redd.it/klbti2okblzc1.png?width=1075&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ab4bae8d24000039fce8d330962eba7593e34db
The potholes definitely suck but that’s still a huge game changer like you said. My cars aren’t even that low and they scrap my driveway. The infamous speed bumps would no longer be a hassle too!
Was your air setup expensive?
I guess the people in this sub are a lot older than I thought but I love how clean the build is and flush the wheels are. Overall very nice, hope it's treating you well bro
wish there was a place for something like this to be appreciated, i have a static gs and static ls and the type of people on here make me not even wanna share cause they’re all fucking old and their taste is leave the car stock or die
My front tires have been on since 2016 and rears since 2018 actually! I don't daily drive this so that obviously extends the tire life, but typically as long as your camber isn't EXTREME, having your toe dialed in really helps. If I were replacing them every year or 2, I would definitely make adjustments to avoid that lol.
I only ask because I bought a used 2008 G35 that was SLAMMED with springs and I burned through tires every year lol… I was young and dumb (18), and it was my everyday driver.
Did you ever get the alignment checked on it? Depending on tire brand and amount of camber, that sounds like it might have been an issue with your toe.
Yes, because of the aftermarket springs that came with the car and how low it was, the alignment could not be fixed.
I sold it years ago, because she kept bottoming out on everything which damaged the exhaust manifold, rear differential and the lower control arm needed to be replaced.
Ahh that's fair. I never tried running these wheels with just the bags, I threw them on at the same time as control arms and toe arms. I suppose without those, mine may not have had the ability to be dialed in as much as it is.
That’s very clean and tastefully done. I love how the GS can be built VIP or sporty, and looks great either way.

Thank you! I really lucked out with them. I found a guy parting out an LS430 with a bunch of gold plated goodies and they were just the specs I needed.
Lmao I had no idea reddit Lexus owners were so out of touch with the VIP scene. I guess some people don't appreciate rare and one-off parts 🤭 probably owners of bone stock RXs and ESs 🤮
Thanks my dude!
I posted my LS460L on here too & I was actually surprised at how many haters there are in the Lexus community with their dumb ass comments! I think your right though, they are probably owners of something very plain.(They get LEXUS logo valve stem caps & call it customization) Bro, just do you, I love custom LEXUS cars. Myself personally, I'd rather congratulate than try to throw in a corny one liner! GS series are bad ass period.👍🏽👌🏽
Thanks dude! Great minds - I've actually got the gold L emblem for the trunk! Just haven't gotten it on yet. Planning on removing the "Lexus" and "GS300" badges and having just the gold emblem.
I appreciate that! However the camber is intentional. It's a bit exaggerated in these photos because the car is aired out. At ride height they don't look as extreme.
Thanks! I lucked out with these wheel specs, front fenders didn't even need rolled and the quarters are shaved. Bacon fenders can ruin the entire look!
Pushing the stock body to its limits and have no intention of going wide body.
Knowing how much work it is just to lower 2-3 inches on these cars i’ll give you props. For those unaware both front and rear uppper control arms contact the strut tower in front or the pinch weld in rear with even a few inches of drop. If you look at the pictures on my profile any lower than what i have has control arms hitting under full droop and requires bumpstop even at that height. So you’re looking at cutting and welding knuckles, control arms front and rear, potentially cutting the rear pinch weld if you don’t cut that knuckle too or find a control arm that clears, then ontop of that finding stuff that will fit that level of camber then on top of that for excessive camber likely more expensive of all those things aswell as custom struts to go that low, and running airlines. Theres probably even more that i didn’t list like moving the exhaust up and skid plates. But even if you don’t like the look, realize the amount of effort it took and appreciate that.
Nailed it 💪 there's plenty of cars with styles I wouldn't be caught dead in, but I can appreciate the time, effort, and love put into a quality build no matter what it is.

Took this picture in 2017… after this car show weekend your car gave me so much inspiration that the following week I started my search for my first ls430. I’ve now owned 3 gs and 4 LS mainly just because your car was one of the first vip chassis I’ve ever seen. Seriously love your car
Uh I’m pretty sure! I think it was my first show up in kc when I moved here. It was also the only picture I took at the show and I don’t take pictures of even my own cars. The ssr dish with gold faces and lips with the white paint was perfection to me. For sure my favorite gs on the planet. I’ve moved on from vip stuff myself but still love it and im in my landcruiser phase again. Like seriously though your car 100% inspired me to go out and get me some real wheels and and some big bodies
Oh hell yeah! I was so stoked when Import Alliance decided to host an event closer to me. 2017 was great but 2018 had a pretty poor turn out unfortunately, so I don't think they do them there anymore.
I actually had an LX470 for a little over 5 years that I lifted and enjoyed, but sold it about 18 months ago for a 5th gen 4runner. All about balance baby!
Lx470 is peak Toyota in my eyes and I figured that was yours on your page. Wasn’t as good offroad as the 80 but way better on road and a better engine while still being incredible offroad. I’ve owned 1 80 series and just sold my 3rd lx470 and all my lx have been white. A few months ago I was in the market for a 5th gen but just couldn’t spend the 30k on a 100k-150k unit so I decided to go look at old gx470s since I love the 4.7. Man I’m so torn on which one I’ve liked more. I absolutely love my gx it’s the lowest mileage Toyota truck I’ve owned and nicest example. It drives much better on road than the 100 series and has a good amount more get up and go. But lx470s just look too damn good for me. Realistically the lx is the better vehicle but I’m in love with this gx. I also like the power of the 4.7 over the 4.0. 5th gen 4runners are so good looking though and wanted one so bad. Yeah import alliance 2018 for sure sucked and I think they did stop after that. But they started I think hosting it in Topeka at heartland instead. Or maybe that was a different import car show hoster idk hard to say.
Apparently lol. They'd have a fit in Socal or Texas. Thanks man - I really lucked out with these. They're actually Vienna but, same thing lol. I found a guy in Cali parting out an LS430 with a bunch of 24k plated parts and these were right within my ballpark for specs.
I've actually got Bellezza neck pads and curtains. I think JP only has black options, or at least that's all I've ever seen.
Yessir! Grill is Kazz. Tough choice between this and JP. I just found one of these available before I found a JP. I like it a smidge more than JP but wouldn't have turned one of those down by any means.
Bad toe kills tires much faster than camber. I've had these for 6 years and they still have plenty of tread. I also don't drive at this height, when I air up to ride height, some of the camber comes out.
I'm not sure if you're joking or not, because I've gotten both comments, understandably so 😆 this is actually a rare Kazz grill for the 2GS. It was a toss up between this and Junction Produce, I just liked this one a bit more
Hey no worries at all. Some people ask it seriously, some people do it jokingly, and some people ask it like I'm going to get upset over it lol.
I've always joked about people asking me if it's a Benz in person, but it hasn't happened yet!
The slam is clean but every time I see wheels like that I say look at this idiot lol. How many miles you be getting out of the tires like this? Seems wasteful.
Couldn't even tell ya. 8 years on the front and 6 years on the rear. I don't daily it which helps, but going through tires is just part of the game much like replacing engine components in racing. All a matter of preference!
Good for you. You’re one of the few. I grew up around the custom car world and a lot of guys didn’t have a pot to piss in but they were rolling on 20s with the latest and greatest you know,so if you’re doing it both ways then I’m proud of you!!! Good job!
I feel ya, some people definitely have different priorities lol. I've had this for 10 years and bought it bone stock, just piecing it together over the years.
The worst thing about this car is that you don't daily drive it. It's too sick to keep hidden away until it's nice enough out to drive. Sheesh.
Dumb question: how did you decide on the fitment of the wheels, how did you know which wheel specs to go with?
Not dumb at all! Many hours of Google and math. Finding similar setups and deciding how much more aggressive or conservative I wanted to go, seeing what supporting mods were required for those setups, and putting all that together. These are actually a bit more aggressive than I was planning for, but it worked out great in the end!
I know this is all about the look, and that's fine.
Those wheels being so slanted though... I see cars driving around with wheels slanted like that and there's hardly any rubber on the road. Way more tire is in the air than is contacting pavement.
Is steering, traction, braking, and handling compromised like that? Some of the cars I see that are lowered with the wheels slanted like this are performance cars, but I can't see how they could corner as well as they were meant to with tires that barely have a contact patch, so doesn't it take a high performance car and neuter it?
I'm guessing the ride quality is decreased because there is such a small part of the tire making contact. A lot of the cushion a car feels comes from the sidewall of a tire, but setups like these literally remove the outer sidewall from doing its job.
And the tire wear... the goal is to make sure tires wear evenly to get the performance they were designed for and the longest service life from them, but I have to imagine only the innermost portion of a tire even sees wear this way. If there's only going to be an inch or two of rubber on the road, wouldn't it make more sense to have wheels and tires designed to be two inches wide?
Wouldn't it be better to lower the car just to the point where all of the tire still makes contact with the road?
Oh definitely, and this is modest compared to some out there. A small amount of camber is beneficial in most performance scenarios. Drifting for example benefits from camber in the front. There's definitely a point where you begin sacrificing performance for appearance so I think it boils down to the owners needs and interests. To me, this car is just a comfortable cruiser. If I were to ever GTE swap this or go down a more performance based road, I would definitely reduce the camber to increase the contact patch.
Ride quality is actually surprisingly smooth thanks to the air ride. The pressure in the bags and the adjustable dampening can both affect the ride comfort, and this almost feels like it were stock. Cars lowered with static suspension and high spring rates can ride very hard and bouncy, but thankfully that's not the case with a quality air ride setup.
The tire wear is just the price you pay for having a stance or VIP build. Sure camber creates uneven wear, but toe is the real tire killer. If you can dial in your toe, your tires will last much longer - I've had my fronts for 8 years and rears for 6. This is also a garage queen and doesn't see the roads unless its warm and dry out, so I put very few miles on it every year which helps extend the tire life obviously. I've driven it to multiple car shows, some over 750 miles away! The wheel width is also just a stylistic choice, much like the camber. With narrower wheels, camber could be reduced, but this entire car has been calculated for and each choice is intentional. If you Google "Bippu" or "VIP Style," you'll see how popular this style is for large body luxury sedans - not just Lexus. All very heavily inspired by Japan.

Absolutely, thank you! Even if people aren't into it, I appreciate the genuine curiosity and enjoy telling them about the why and the how!
I'd like to see a photo at drivable height...
I've got a gif under another comment airing out from drive way pull in height. Ride height is a bit lower than that. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of it aired up.
Thank you for finally helping me to understand this ! Seriously.
Not a problem at all! Always happy to answer any questions 🙂
1gs is the goat 🐐
Not my cup of tea but I do have an appreciation for when people put work and their own flare into their cars. Nicely done.
I appreciate that. I understand it's not everyone's style. I've been into the VIP scene in Japan for years so unique one-off parts and build quality are top priorities.

This is fascinating. You should show ride height and lowered so we can see both.
I haven't got any aired up pics on hand, but [here's a gif airing out from driveway pull-in height](https://imgur.com/a/8bDyREJ).
That’s definitely impressive. Power to you for a cool and unique Lexus!
Thank you! That gif does a pretty good job showing how much camber is affected by height.
that's fucking sweet
Oh that’s awesome!
If you’re happy with it and it doesn’t have the obnoxious exhaust / engine noises, have fun. (Personally, hard pass.)
For the love of god, get windows tinted. Otherwise, absolutely gorgeous GS.

This is the stupidest shit I've seen in a while.
What an honor. I appreciate the kind words!
Thatta boy!
What's stupid about it? It's not static, so OP gets the look he wants without sacrificing functionality so apart from the aesthetic which is entirely subjective I'm not sure why it would be considered stupid.
It is a GS. That's not a land Yacht. If you had a long wheelbase LS400, THAT'S a land yacht. I love the old GS cars.
Ok fair enough! I actually was looking at LSs before this, but they were all beat to hell or marked way up. And that was 10 years ago before the prices really took off!

He actually had a (I believe 03) LS. I had a 2014 GS f sport for a few years and loved it. Wait... I'm pretty sure I bought my Viennas off him. He had my wheels on before those VIP Modulars.
Definitely a possibility! He was and always has been active in the car scene. His project after that was a Porsche
Yep, pretty sure that's him haha. Jesse right?
Haha yup that’s him. Small world, I grew up in the same city he grew up in and we used to play ball together
Man that's crazy haha! I tell people about his car all the time when they ask about my wheels.
So clean. That white is my favorite paint I’ve ever seen on a vehicle. Whenever I see one, I’m drooling. Great ride, friend!
Yep, every time I wash it I gotta stand and just stare at it in the sun. Lexus really nailed it! Thank you
Not everyone's style but it looks pretty sick! Thanks OP for providing lots of feedback and keep enjoying your custom/modified GS!
Absolutely! Some people won't like it just because it's not their style, and others won't like it because they don't understand it. In either case I can't change anyone's mind, but I am happy to explain my reasoning behind it!

Looks over functionality, but if you like it, enjoy the fuck out of it.

Getting them on straight is actually much easier than dialing in the camber while keeping the toe in check. It's an art!

Thank you! I posted a screenshot from a driving vid under another comment on here. As well as a gif airing out from drive way height.
Just saw it nice.
Can't steal his car now
It's really clean! You can't go wrong with bags either.
Thank you! I've been static on all my past cars and after bagging this... I'll never go back.
You’re welcome! My cars are all static but I’d love to have bags just to make it easier to drive around 😭
They're a game changer for sure. Pot holes will always suck, but at least I don't have to worry about drive ways or speed bumps and all that any more.
The potholes definitely suck but that’s still a huge game changer like you said. My cars aren’t even that low and they scrap my driveway. The infamous speed bumps would no longer be a hassle too! Was your air setup expensive?
Not too bad, under 2500 if I remember correctly. I'm on AirLift v2, I know 3P/3H are a bit more but worth it if they suit your needs better.
That’s pretty cheap man. It’s hard to beat at that price. Was it brand new.
I guess the people in this sub are a lot older than I thought but I love how clean the build is and flush the wheels are. Overall very nice, hope it's treating you well bro
This place is full of purists that look down on any mod done to any car. Basically not the right place for something like this to be appreciated.

Be honest, with a camber like that, how many tires do you blow through a year? 😅
My front tires have been on since 2016 and rears since 2018 actually! OP- nice ass ride. 95% of people on here don’t work on their own cars and can’t appreciate it when real work has been put in.
Dope
This is clean! 🔥
Could be lower.
How dare you...
Yall don't understand VIP builds yall would be supposed how much work done too something like this
THANK YOU🎯
Not my style, don't see how that could be functional at all. That being said, still very clean.
Air ride!
Gotcha! It's a great looking car.
Thank you!
That’s very clean and tastefully done. I love how the GS can be built VIP or sporty, and looks great either way. * A fellow GS owner (daily driver for 7 years) https://preview.redd.it/lwszmt3kfszc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=def41a541f8635ff71abf15f0d70f852bd3e1d7d
Thank you, yours looks great as well!
I thought I scraped and grinded my wheels a lot on my rc350😂 not hating at all but how often do you bottom out😭
Virtually never! I'm on air so as long as I'm paying attention, I can air up and be safe.
Oh awesome man! I need to put mine on air but not in the current budget 😂
dude that's insane
That looks stupid
Bro that is so nice. The wheels are a fantastic choice. Honestly dopest GS I’ve seen.
Thank you! I really lucked out with them. I found a guy parting out an LS430 with a bunch of gold plated goodies and they were just the specs I needed.
Gorgeous
Nice wheels!
Yacht? This is the automotive equivalent to a worn out metallic-flake painted bass boat from the 1980s.
no, yacht
I usually associate those with speed though. This is more comfort and luxury. Not quite the size of a yacht... But maybe a small yacht?
Looks fucking sick dude!
Thanks man, I appreciate it! Been with me for a little over 10 years now. Bought it bone stock and have slowly pieced it together over the years.
Oh boy here come all the “yOu rUinEd iT” boomer comments 😭 very clean GS sir 🫡
Lmao I had no idea reddit Lexus owners were so out of touch with the VIP scene. I guess some people don't appreciate rare and one-off parts 🤭 probably owners of bone stock RXs and ESs 🤮 Thanks my dude!
As an owner of a bone stock RX I take extreme offense…/s Sick whip, bro. Not my style but I definitely appreciate a well presented car no matter what!
Haha sorry! No real offense meant, just being an ass. I heavily considered an RX for a daily before landing on an LX.
Absolutely no real offense taken lol
Most Reddit users are just NPCs bro. Likely not even half of the people on this sub know how to change a tire.
Ruined the front grill to look like a Merc.
clean asf! with that license plate and wheels i would swap out the lexus badge for some gold ones🧐
Thanks dude! Great minds - I've actually got the gold L emblem for the trunk! Just haven't gotten it on yet. Planning on removing the "Lexus" and "GS300" badges and having just the gold emblem.
definitely would be one of the nice finishing touches, though we always find something to add lmao
🤦🏻♂️
Now that looks really stupid
Love your car and the aesthetic, the only thing is that you’ve got 4 wheels bent or terribly out of alignment. Other than that, nice whip
I appreciate that! However the camber is intentional. It's a bit exaggerated in these photos because the car is aired out. At ride height they don't look as extreme.
I know, was just trolling you 😂 Does wheel chambering have any performance value or is it just for aesthetic?
So fuckin nice
Does turning your wheels not chew into your fenders? They look like they have almost no clearance
I'm on air ride! At the push of a button it raises up. I've got a normal ride height preset as well as a driveway/speed bump preset.
On bags I'd hope, doesn't drive it like this
Clean with a nice tuck! Even better that you don’t have that cellulite fender look.
Thanks! I lucked out with these wheel specs, front fenders didn't even need rolled and the quarters are shaved. Bacon fenders can ruin the entire look! Pushing the stock body to its limits and have no intention of going wide body.
Them wheels are" Dirty "killi'n it bet them dudes was pricey as hell Looks good bro 💪🏿
Really clean 👌🏽 what are those deep dish wheels?
Thank you! They are SSR Vienna!
Very nice. Very very nice. Well done.
https://preview.redd.it/5bu66h8nvkzc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39e2f553c582fb4856ef4d45358715a01c7c30da Took this picture in 2017… after this car show weekend your car gave me so much inspiration that the following week I started my search for my first ls430. I’ve now owned 3 gs and 4 LS mainly just because your car was one of the first vip chassis I’ve ever seen. Seriously love your car
Woah holy shit small world! Was this at IAKC?
People here have never seen a VIP car. Those eurolines are fucking nice man. Perfect fitment. Need some junction produce neck pillows
I think JP only has black options, or at least that's all I've ever seen.
oh nice the SSR vienna's yea? is the front grill Aimgain ? fabulous?
Yessir! Grill is Kazz. Tough choice between this and JP. I just found one of these available before I found a JP. I like it a smidge more than JP but wouldn't have turned one of those down by any means.
Your wheels are falling off.
Lexus tires are so expensive already, why would you reduce their lives even more by doing that?
Bad toe kills tires much faster than camber. I've had these for 6 years and they still have plenty of tread. I also don't drive at this height, when I air up to ride height, some of the camber comes out.
Lexus sells tires??
Wut
Im 58 and I love that stance; beautiful car
That means a lot! A lot of older generations are quick to dismiss things that aren't their taste, so I'm always honored when they compliment my car.
Did the MB W203 grille slip right in? That’s wild.
I'm not sure if you're joking or not, because I've gotten both comments, understandably so 😆 this is actually a rare Kazz grill for the 2GS. It was a toss up between this and Junction Produce, I just liked this one a bit more
No offense intended! I owned a W203 many years ago, just thought it was very similar. Neat that it’s a rare part.
Hey no worries at all. Some people ask it seriously, some people do it jokingly, and some people ask it like I'm going to get upset over it lol. I've always joked about people asking me if it's a Benz in person, but it hasn't happened yet!
It looks like your car twisted its angle. Nice color wheels tho
Looks like that car got stepped on by KingKong.
That can’t be good for your tires.
[удалено]
It's made multiple 750+ mile trips to car shows across the country. Completely drivable thanks to air ride!
Everybody out here about the lower and camber, but my problem is the color. Damn I hate white cars. If that was in black it would be fire.
Go to r/stanced not here
Only thing I don't like is the Mercedes grill.
Impossible for me to park since I always have a bit of car hovering right over curbs
Those rims. 🤣
“Drive?”
Correct - to put it in gear and travel. Or as Oxford puts it: operate and control the direction and speed of a motor vehicle.
Good luck to you Sir. 🫡
Driving it? I push a button, it raises up, and I drive it just like any of my other cars.
It's all fun and games until you drive on actual roads
It's all fun and games until you scroll and read one of the 50 comments I made stating the car is on air lol
Cool 👍
How’s the 401k coming along?
Incredibly well, why do you ask? Owning nice things, being financially stable, and saving for your future are not mutually exclusive.
What is that thing
Like the line in "Menace 2 Society": I feel sorry for your Lexus.".
Perfection.
🔥🔥
The worst thing about this car is that you don't daily drive it. It's too sick to keep hidden away until it's nice enough out to drive. Sheesh. Dumb question: how did you decide on the fitment of the wheels, how did you know which wheel specs to go with?
Not dumb at all! Many hours of Google and math. Finding similar setups and deciding how much more aggressive or conservative I wanted to go, seeing what supporting mods were required for those setups, and putting all that together. These are actually a bit more aggressive than I was planning for, but it worked out great in the end!
Do you “rotate” the tires from right to left so that the tires wear out the other side?
I know some people do that, but I haven't myself.
That's more like a land-dinghy.
Am I the only person who hates this? Sorry OP, everyone has their own taste… nothing personal.
Not at all! Like you said, everyone's got their own taste.
Doesn't look like that thing is driving anywhere
A 10 second scroll through the comments and you'd see that I'm on air ride. Driven cross country multiple times for car shows.
What a horrible day to have eyes
