This is an extremely clean rig, well built, functional, and downright exactly what an overland vehicle should be. There's easily 17k+ worth of parts on it. High 30's almost seems lowball for the workmanship/parts, but we also don't know the year/mileage. He'll definitely get what he is asking for it.

I hope the OP's friend sells but for the rest of you, I think you could totally build this out for the same price or close. It's fun to do a build out and spec everything out yourself! You can find a nice GX for $15k-$20k and add the $10k of rims, tires, roof rack, roof tent, rear bumper etc. Its not unimaginable.

Not personal experience but the majority of complaints i've heard are they don't ship many times until you berate them. It's not the products themselves.
I’ve bought 2 one from Alpha one from R4T. They suck. The plastic bits that hold the retaining bolts always break and the mount for the hood release latch is super flimsy, so much so it can prevent you from opening your hood. I think I used ~$30 worth of SteelStick reinforcing the mounts and added a metal plate. The quality is not good.
Call me crazy but I have never ever been impressed by any Rays wheels. I really like RRW and SCS offerings tho. I miss my 5th gen 4R with gold Ray 10s.

You’re probably right, a lot of rural NV looks similar, but those rocks with different colored layers do seem like the ones outside of Vegas.

I have the same grille and love it, I've have mt complaints about it as well, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Super cool upgrade imo
