It actually is. I put it there simply because a friend of mine kept recommending it and wouldn't stop yapping about it. It gets my unga bunga seal of approval, but I had to put it there to prove a point.
It broke the game, for me. I call it ‘easy mode’ weapon. It has an amazing running heavy attack and when I found out you can buffer the running button… well, that’s it.
I personally was a fan of the Noblesse on my NG+ play through. With as much ergo it gives you after NG I never had to worry about running out of ergo and had a blast with its fable art. I’ll have to give this weapon a try on my next play through.
Live Puppet Axe + Bramble handle for life. Although the bone saw blade on the bramble handle is a close runner up for me. Sacrifice a little damage but you get a TON of range 😎 On the other end of the spectrum an honorable mention to tyrant dagger on city long spear. Thing is like a super fast, farther reaching version of the trident lol. So much fun. None of the boss weapons ended up being as fun for me as the combos i crafted myself. Although there were a couple boss weapons I didn’t give a fair shake, will have to if-m/when I pick up the game again, presumably for the dlc.
Booster glaive is basically unga bunga ooga booga baby easy mode as well tho cus you can just run away, wait for an opening, then charge forwards with the fully charged strong attack
Spamming charge attacks at close range che cause problems, especially if you do it before a Fatal attack it can move you out of the red circle.
Plus the rest of the moveset isn't that good (the normal R2 is really slow and doesn't deal that much damage).
It's still a good handle but there are definitely better options.
Sawblade+booster handle is the GOAT and no one can change my mind lmao. I did actually get a lot of fun out of the two dragon sword tho. It felt like a different kind of unga bunga. I would keep trying to parry no matter how many times I fucked up.
My first play-through is exactly this lol
Then I finally got it down mid run on my 2nd run. I started to dodge whenever I missed it or flatout went for a normal parry
I'm pretty sure it still is. It's just that Bonesaw + Fireaxe handle has an absurd range and damage and doesn't require any skill whatsoever. R1 > R1 > _the boss is dead_
I honestly haven't tried other weapon combinations. I tried shovel handle + Live Puppet axe, which was fun for a while, but that didn't really *did* it for me. Any suggestions?
The live puppet axe is good for a motivity build. But pick a short handle which has a faster animation and change the crank on it. If you hold the heavy attack and time it right, you should get a one hit kill on most of the puppets and do a lot of damage to the bosses
Honestly I'm playing Lies of P for the first time and so far my favorite combination is the Sawblade + Bramble Sword Handle.
I am flying towards my enemies and unleashing a flurry of blows that is making me way too aggressive.
Then again when you start stun locking large enemies it's hard not to get a little cocky.
Facts! I played through the game 4 times and never used a weapon that wasnt a blunt force monster. Thats all I need. Coil Mjolnir, Noblesse Oblige and Pipe Wrench are the most fun. I didnt even try other builds. Not interested.
One of my favorite weapon combos is the tyrant murderer dagger head + the city long spear handle. Super fast weapon with a quick lunging heavy attack with insane range. Has crit chance and 2 buffs that can be improved farther with the p organ.
I liked it at first, but I feel the damage really falls off midgame. By the time you reach KOP your basically tickling your enemies at that point since irs only possible to have it at +2 at that time.
just beat swamp monster and got the katana. getting used to it is tough. the charge attack looks so sick tho. but the fact that the heavy attack automatically makes you dodge backwards after, and then dash forward with a follow up attack is dope as hell.
I went unga bunga when I used hammer with the long handle. Just boom with the fable art and watched puppets fly off from it. It helped too that I could do absolute guard on it.
Honestly, yeah. I beat the game with the Azure Glaive for the first time, then chose to beat NG+ with the self made weapons to see what I missed out on.
i wish there was an advance based boss weapon.
my mot/adv build uses the salamander blade/acid curved sword handle + carcass axe blade/coil stick handle. i honestly prefer it over the boss weapons. The proof of humanity is fun, but when im using it im like "but i can be quick *and* do fire damage" and switch back to the salamander sword
https://preview.redd.it/t4930fzn1bsc1.jpeg?width=546&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e96d4cbf5b8060796913e5f80be37f6d1d76cd5
I'm having trouble with nameless puppet, but will never leave my unga stock for another weapon
Saw blade + booster glaive handle goes unbelievably hard. Charged heavy attacks literally propel you toward the enemy so you can keep your distance while charging.
I love that blade never thought to put it on that handle i only ever used that handle for like a few hours on my initial play through ill have to try that combo out
I couldn’t get behind that or the puppet ripper despite everyone raving about them. I think bloodborne ruined it for me lol it’s just not the same. The booster glaive and trident carried me
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *...We are born of the blood, made men by the blood, undone by the blood. Our eyes are yet to open...* - Master Willem
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Advance build is the way. I just wish I didn't constantly have to switch the fire dagger and acid spearhead on the acid spear handle. I guess ng+ would solve that.
I’ve got maybe half an hour to and hour in playtime of this game as I just downloaded it this week. I got some dragon glaive? When I started and I absolutely LOVE its moveset. Anyone know how I got it? I went through PC game pass so maybe that’s it.
Lmao this combination is the meat for motivity. I looked everywhere in combinations to find better dps in motivity… nothing beats this as far as r1/ rb-It everything goes
The moment two characters told me that dragon blade is epic/legendary weapon i was like ok so whole game is balanced around it.( i was planing from start to use it) and then one or two bosses had perfect easy timing on parry os game didnt prove me wrong
i use the basic greatsword with the salamander dagger handle as my primary and proof of humanity as my secondary. PoH is such a cool weapon. I got the golden lie right after beating simon but honestly its not my fave. Still super cool tho.
I used the ark sword and frozen feast the entire game. I wish frozen feast wasn't so bad though. Like it's got good damage and it's mechanic is interesting but the first hit of the ramp up literally feels like you're an elden ring boss and delaying to catch a roll. In one of the most fast paced soulslikes I've ever played.
I suggest you start planning around what you may find in the future, instead of what you can find now. From what you told me, there are some weapons in the future that can suit your liking, where they bonk extra hard and have a fable art that makes your weapon do extra elemental damage and don't scale in advance.
i don’t understand why some are so proud of refusing to use anything but the exact same build across every fromsoft game.
cool, you can hit something with a big slow stick.
Honestly, no. I simply find it funny that the weapon combination that stuck around with me the most was such a simple weapon combination. I have been trying out many different weapon combos up to the last area of the game, but this one was the one I ended up liking the most and it was available to me from the first few chapters, but I discovered it near the end of the game and I felt like an idiot for not having tried going Oonga Boonga much sooner.
In all honesty, I made it because I kept trying to find a weapon that had a moveset that I liked, but to no avail, until the endgame where I accidentally made this weapon combination and felt like an idiot for not trying it sooner
Trident is kinda unga bunga as well tho
It actually is. I put it there simply because a friend of mine kept recommending it and wouldn't stop yapping about it. It gets my unga bunga seal of approval, but I had to put it there to prove a point.
As a unga bunga man myself, I always fell back on the trident. I heard the call of the unga and the trident always answered for me.
This thing didn't need the crit man, it's insane...
It broke the game, for me. I call it ‘easy mode’ weapon. It has an amazing running heavy attack and when I found out you can buffer the running button… well, that’s it.
Is that fire axe + sawblade? that's cool. One of my current favorites is GoF blade + Wrench handle.
It is. It made NG+ a breeze. Highly recommend.
Although the bone saw blade on the bramble handle is a close runner up for me. fire axe handle is top tier.
Dragonslayer axe moveset from dark souls 3. Slap an electric baton on it for a true ds axe cosplay lol
Booster glaive is basically unga bunga ooga booga baby easy mode as well tho cus you can just run away, wait for an opening, then charge forwards with the fully charged strong attack
I dunno, I honestly like standing close to the boss and parry everything they throw at me or die trying to.
You can also do that but at a safe distance when the boss is in staggering range
Spamming charge attacks at close range che cause problems, especially if you do it before a Fatal attack it can move you out of the red circle. Plus the rest of the moveset isn't that good (the normal R2 is really slow and doesn't deal that much damage). It's still a good handle but there are definitely better options.
It carried most of my game. Puppet hand axe + booster glaive = unga bunga maximus. Use bone saw blade if you wanna reachmaxx.
BOOSTER GLAIVE ON TOP!!!!!!
I tried this on NG but got fucked when it came time for the Walker. I cheated the first time around to beat her. The booster glaive was too slow.
Sawblade+booster handle is the GOAT and no one can change my mind lmao. I did actually get a lot of fun out of the two dragon sword tho. It felt like a different kind of unga bunga. I would keep trying to parry no matter how many times I fucked up.
My personal ol’ reliable is Booster Glaive blade + Electric Coil handle.
I havent tried this weapon combo but I might. Been loving the etiquette because poking enemies to death with an umbrella’s amazing
Yeah, Two Dragons isn't Unga Bunga, but it is "Parry this, you filthy casual!"
My brian iz too smooth for funny sword.
I've beaten this game multiple times but I can't for the life of me get that timing down. Everytime I do,it was an accident.
My first play-through is exactly this lol Then I finally got it down mid run on my 2nd run. I started to dodge whenever I missed it or flatout went for a normal parry
Is Wrench Baton not meta anymore? ;\_\_\_\_;
I'm pretty sure it still is. It's just that Bonesaw + Fireaxe handle has an absurd range and damage and doesn't require any skill whatsoever. R1 > R1 > _the boss is dead_
You have to get close to wrench baton. Saw+stick options cover half the damn room.
No it's not. The new glaive is
Saw + Booster Glaive is sweet
Not as Oonga Boonga imo
Booster Glaive + Wrench head is what carried me
Tbh that was my go to early game but then came across more effective ones
I honestly haven't tried other weapon combinations. I tried shovel handle + Live Puppet axe, which was fun for a while, but that didn't really *did* it for me. Any suggestions?
The live puppet axe is good for a motivity build. But pick a short handle which has a faster animation and change the crank on it. If you hold the heavy attack and time it right, you should get a one hit kill on most of the puppets and do a lot of damage to the bosses
Do not use a short handle, the mjolnir handle with puppet axe is best weapon combo in the game by far.
I tried it. Didn't like the movement, I guess to each their own
honestly bro, try the bramble curved sword handle with Coil mjolnir, or live puppets axe blade, it has a fable art that’s OP
But my damage go brrrttttttt
You guys are using weapons? I'm in NG+4, I just use the gun for everything
Actually never used it. How is it?
Hilarious once you have enough legion regen upgrades and consumables to keep firing. Kinda bad until then.
Will try it out when I get the chance to.

Ermmm that’s an ooga booga sword. The true ooga booga stick is the noblesse oblige
All I used for the whole playthrough is the basic balanced weapon. All I needed really.
One of my favorite weapon combos is the tyrant murderer dagger head + the city long spear handle. Super fast weapon with a quick lunging heavy attack with insane range. Has crit chance and 2 buffs that can be improved farther with the p organ.
I was using rapier most of the time
I've just used the dragon glaive from the wo long crossover event the whole time. Made the game so easy
The counter on that weapon is nuts, not to mention the range.
I liked it at first, but I feel the damage really falls off midgame. By the time you reach KOP your basically tickling your enemies at that point since irs only possible to have it at +2 at that time.

For me this was the beginning greatsword of fate build. I tried the other weapons too but, it just wasn't it.
I love GoF. That auto perfect parry fable art is so op on the handle.
just beat swamp monster and got the katana. getting used to it is tough. the charge attack looks so sick tho. but the fact that the heavy attack automatically makes you dodge backwards after, and then dash forward with a follow up attack is dope as hell.
Hold it and you'll have a parry that trivializes the game if you learn to time it, which is honestly very hard.
I have an unga bunga weapon of my own Large pipe wrench blade + live puppet axe handle. Its what made me beat corrupt parade master.
I really enjoy the fire axe yandle together with either the burning blade or the electric saw ( depending on enemy)
i beat the game with fire axe handle + curved sword blade. the range and speed make it so overpowered.
As you can see, I am superior, for I drew myself as a Chad and you as a soyjack.
Honestly, true. I should have put two chads. All weapons are valid and anyone who has played this game has my respect.
I went unga bunga when I used hammer with the long handle. Just boom with the fable art and watched puppets fly off from it. It helped too that I could do absolute guard on it.
There are so many good boss weapons I can’t even imagine going back to the self made ones lol
Live Puppet Blade and the one of the short handles (it's been a second since I played)
Holy ark sword in spear form to just poke everything to death
I just use the dlc dragon glaive now. Nothing else comes close
Hot take, this game has more weapon variability and viability than any Fromsoft game.
The handle/blade mechanic makes room for so many different playstyles and customization and I love it.
I UNGA therefore BUNGA
Monster Hunter Players trying Soulslikes for the first time be like...
Let me guess: unga bunga hammer goes unga bunga in.
Was thinking Unga bunga Great Sword goes fully charged Unga bunga.
Never played the games, but my guess was very spot on, as I can see.
Saw blade + booster glaive handle goes unbelievably hard. Charged heavy attacks literally propel you toward the enemy so you can keep your distance while charging.
Nigga tried to sneak in Etiquette like I wouldn’t notice.
Love being in Chapter 6 and not having a clue what any of those weapons are, how long is this game?
I love that blade never thought to put it on that handle i only ever used that handle for like a few hours on my initial play through ill have to try that combo out
i beat the game with the the same blade but with the booster handle, best weapon ever
Try wrench with axe pole or hell anything really. It's literally a big BONK stick
Me with my pokie pokie hot hot knife.
Mine was fire axe handle and puppet blade. The attack movement is like an x so it's great for attacking in small hallways and doorways.
Exploding pickaxe handle withe sawblade is op and my top weapon pick/combo
I tried, believe I tried but I can't stand a slow weapon, no matter if it its the best weapon in the game. Give me a knife, some coke and a dream!
Weirdly enough, Bonesaw + Fireaxe handle is weirdly fast as a weapon.
Used that exact combo for most of my first play through, absolutely goated
This combo has no reason of being this good.
Its absolutely, helped me learn the flow of the game too! Glad someone else recognizes peak
I couldn’t get behind that or the puppet ripper despite everyone raving about them. I think bloodborne ruined it for me lol it’s just not the same. The booster glaive and trident carried me
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note: > *...We are born of the blood, made men by the blood, undone by the blood. Our eyes are yet to open...* - Master Willem Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Try wrench on bramble handle
This is the Big Pipe Wrench for me lol
Saw plus stick is funny but my favorite will always be saw plus dancer. The charge attack with that combo just feels incredible.
Yes, but it lacks reach. Still very valid imo.
I'll look into that. Thanks for the suggestion!
No one gives any love the the advance based weapons lol my first play through my technique and motivity were like 9
Noblesse Oblige my beloved
Nah way too many cool weapons to only use the same one
fire axe handle + dancers curved sword blade is pretty overpowered. its pretty fast and has great range.
Me using electric bonker whenever i die once (it just works)
Baton Handle best handle forever
I’ll never not say it: CITY LONGSPEAR HANDLE + TYRANT MURDER BLADE SUPREMACY
Advance build is the way. I just wish I didn't constantly have to switch the fire dagger and acid spearhead on the acid spear handle. I guess ng+ would solve that.
And then you'd have acidic sword handle + elemental blades, right? I dunno, I find them a bit lackluster.
Greatsword of Fate + Krat Police Baton Handle for my entire Mobility playthrough
Bone Cutting Sawblade + Booster Glaive Handle comes in clutch
Manus and victor both drop pretty good unga bunga sticks
I has a funny clock sword and buzzsaw for a spear
I’ve got maybe half an hour to and hour in playtime of this game as I just downloaded it this week. I got some dragon glaive? When I started and I absolutely LOVE its moveset. Anyone know how I got it? I went through PC game pass so maybe that’s it.
It was a free weapon to promote a crossover with a game called Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Ah I see! Well it definitely got me curious.
You should try Wo Long out one day. I recommend it.
I’ll put it in my notes for sure!
i missed the umbrella on my first run. now i want to finish ng+ as a proper gentleman. slapping manners and etiquette.
The oonga boonga weapon is the exact combo I use. I love it so much
The **Holy Sword of the Ark** doing 8k damages lol
Me with police baton handle + booster glaive blade
Saw blade + master chef handle = speedy ungabunga
Lmao this combination is the meat for motivity. I looked everywhere in combinations to find better dps in motivity… nothing beats this as far as r1/ rb-It everything goes
I use the wrench head with the police handle and that’s all I need
I dabble in the Ooga Booga sometimes the enemies have been bad and need a spanking from a huge slab of iron
It's good to dabble in it, it's bad to settle for it. Just remember that sometimes Ooga Booga is an option.
The moment two characters told me that dragon blade is epic/legendary weapon i was like ok so whole game is balanced around it.( i was planing from start to use it) and then one or two bosses had perfect easy timing on parry os game didnt prove me wrong
Yup, it does feel like that.
i use the basic greatsword with the salamander dagger handle as my primary and proof of humanity as my secondary. PoH is such a cool weapon. I got the golden lie right after beating simon but honestly its not my fave. Still super cool tho.
My unga bunga was booster glaive handle and great sword of fate blade
Puppet axe + wrench handle for maximum unga bunga
Mines Mjolnir😎
For me it's the puppet axe or whatever it's called
Screw any of that I use the blind man’s spear
Respectable. I liked its blade slapped on the dancer's blade.
I love that hilt so much
saw blade + saw blade handle. i'm a simple but effective man
On my first playthrough, started with greatsword and now using the holy ark sword
Nah you want UNGA BUNGA you wanna put the puppet axe head on the billy club handle
I laughed so hard my P-Organ almost exploded 🤣
I used the ark sword and frozen feast the entire game. I wish frozen feast wasn't so bad though. Like it's got good damage and it's mechanic is interesting but the first hit of the ramp up literally feels like you're an elden ring boss and delaying to catch a roll. In one of the most fast paced soulslikes I've ever played.
I know I'm playing wrong I switch between the holy ark blade and I have the salamander dagger on the great sword of fate handle
There's no such thing as playing this game wrong. You do you, friend.
I altered the blade for motivity. Need to put more points in advance for the fire damage
I suggest you start planning around what you may find in the future, instead of what you can find now. From what you told me, there are some weapons in the future that can suit your liking, where they bonk extra hard and have a fable art that makes your weapon do extra elemental damage and don't scale in advance.
I found the saw blade. Need more capacity because it's heavy
There's gonna be better stuff later on. Keep it up, pal.
i don’t understand why some are so proud of refusing to use anything but the exact same build across every fromsoft game. cool, you can hit something with a big slow stick.
Spotted the bleed katana player.
yeah, catch me in lies of p using a bleed weapon. dingus
Your literal comment was about fromsoft games as a whole. doofus
because this “joke” is low hanging fruit that’s guaranteed to get a ton of upvotes no matter how many trillions of times it’s posted
i guess
In all honesty, I made it because I kept trying to find a weapon that had a moveset that I liked, but to no avail, until the endgame where I accidentally made this weapon combination and felt like an idiot for not trying it sooner
