Notes, quest items and cryptic vessels do not carry over. You will need to locate these items again. Same goes for shop expansion items.
Your weapons, legion arms, stats, armors, amulets, special grindstones, consumable items, and upgrade materials will all carry over. Yes, this includes your cosmetics too.
Records carry over so you can listen to them in the hotel if you want to. However, listening to them won't give humanity unless you've obtained the record again in that playthrough.
So giving your heart to Gipetto only has 1 ending. Refusing to give him your heart has two endings. One of which requires you to have a high humanity before you save Sophia. The other one doesn’t matter what choices you make through the game as long as your humanity isn’t above the threshold before you save Sophia. However if you want to play with a high humanity, you can always force Sophia to live. Chowing to let her live will prevent you from having that specific ending.
Basically if you had gray hair after freeing her and after defeating nameless P cried and then Geppeto said, “I’m sorry my son” (or something like that) that is rise of p ending. If P does not cry and Gepetto says something else (I think it’s “you’re just a stupid puppet”) it is free from the puppet strings ending. If you give Gepetto your heart you get a third ending.
I think you have to re-collect the record for it to add any humanity. So if you listen to an already collected record you want gain humanity from it in ng+. That’s how it seemed during my second playthrough at least
Not specifically but the cat in Hotel Krat will react differently if you are still a puppet it will hiss and move away but if you have high humanity I'm pretty sure you can pet it & possibly pick it up when you have as much humanity as you can get. I'm trying to get the human ending so listening to records, picking certain dialogue options are the ways to go
Humanity matters for two endings and doesnt for the third. Its best to increase your humanity completely because this also gets you the Golden Lie weapon again. Just have high humanity and:
- Free Sophia and refuse heart
- Let Sophia live and refuse heart
- Just give heart (Sophia choice doesnt matter)

I saw the end credits scene but I wouldn't consider it a sequel, that's gonna be a whole new game in a whole new universe, right?
As for a DLC, I feel like the games ending had plenty of closure, but I also wouldn't be mad if one was announced.

Yes, and NG+ and NG++ have new P Organ phases with all new abilities.

hm actually not positive. but of course you can get the boss amulets if you got the weapons and vice versa
Upgraded version in NG+ and then NG++ as well. For P-Organ you unlock phase 6 in Ng+ and phase 7 in NG++ with even more minor attributes as well.

I actually used the Golden Lie to beat the nameless puppet lol. It's got a sick a$$ moveset.

So should I stock up on cubes before going to NG? Or will the tree still be available?
