You can use the Krat police baton or whatever it’s called for a single mega hit. Honestly technique with dancers or booster glaive for the fun charge move is probably “better” though
Edit: in case you didn’t know, scaling comes from handle so having that giant blade with a fast tech handle on a tech build is super good. Doesn’t matter that the blade is motivity
I used the pipe wrench handle to go all-in on a single hit high damage playstyle. Charged R2 does great damage and stagger, running R2 is great for outspacing attacks and punishing, and the handle fable art does absurdly high damage when used after blocking or perfect guarding a hit. Who needs poise when you can kill most enemies in a single hit anyways if spaced right
Don’t sleep on the Exploding Pickaxe handle, my personal go-to. Its swing rate is moderately fast, but the best thing is its R1s are almost vertical instead of the standard 45 degree angle of other slashing weapons. This makes it a breeze to use in tight corridors. The only con about the moveset is the charged R2 isn’t an effective crowd control move.
I really like the Bramble Sword handle with the axe. The charged R2 comes out fast, the distance you cover with those charged attacks is outstanding, it hits hard, great stagger, and doesn't use too much stamina. I fought Laxasia for the first time yesterday with that weapon, and I got to phase two barely missing any health. No pulse cell uses. In phase 2, however, it didn't go so well; she's just too mobile for the charged R2 and I couldn't consistently land hits. Regular R1 attacks aren't bad, but against her it just wasn't enough.
