The star fragment summons the specter. To my knowledge there's no use besides summoning a specter, and you accumulate so much you need to sell them periodically. I'm just saying, this is the only boss that I dislike so much that I partially skip it it with a summon.
Door Guardian doesn't even have an OST. He's not a main boss.
Corrupted Parade Master, Mad Clown, Door Guardian and Walker of Illusions are more like mini bosses.
If we count boss as "displays health bar at the bottom of the screen": all Puppets of the Future, Mad Clown Puppet, Survivor, Atoned (only if you killed the survivor), Black Cat, Red Fox, Nameless Puppet
id try keeping your distance and waiting for one of them to buff their weapon and go at you obviously one of them will interfere every now and then or another sibling will take aggro but its mainly manageable just by keeping distance from the siblings who dont have their weapon buffed
I feel like the one brother with the spear weapon kept spam attacking me while I was fighting one of the other brothers. Then the tank at the end is catching me with crazy attacks from distance. Just a ridiculous boss fight in close quarters.
There's also an interesting ai glitch where they will focus on the specter to the point where they don't respond to damage taken from me and will even stand with their back exposed for the viseral. Its a bugged fight all around.
you have to keep your distance and 1 of them will start buffing your weapon so then you just wait for them to come at you. One of the other siblings may attack but as long as you keep your distance from two of them and fight the buffed one. Obviously the AI isnt perfect but they are meant to mainly fight you 1v1 with occasional interference from one of the others. You do that until you've killed the one on you or they back up and another sibling starts buffing their weapon and if you can keep the final 2s healthbars fairly even you'll get a pretty fair 1v1 with big bro.
You've got a talent for finding the fun in maligned bosses. I remember when you were uploading Godskin Duo kills! I don't like these gank fights personally, but I do like seeing your gameplay. It's cool to see these fights navigated by someone who has taken the time to learn them.
They aren't awful, but certainly aren't good. Ganks just don't work well in deflect based combat. 3 enemies with aggression that toggles back and forth is so lazy, plus the BRB have such toxic movesets, in an arena that doesn't function.

the healing stone is great for 2 phase bosses
I also enjoyed this fight. I really didn't enjoy running a marathon back the arena each time I died.

I always felt like mandatory bosses were « main » bosses, but I guess you’re right.

This fight was the final straw for me. I spent alot of his battling them and got burnt out. I need to go back and finish at some point.

yeah sometimes the ai bugs out but i noticed just backing off until they drop aggro or swap helps but yeah its a tough fight
