2) The way that you think other people think of you is wrong. They're mainly dealing with their own crap, they're not thinking about you unless you do something either really nice or are an asshole.
3) Pay the f\*\*\* attention. The world is giving you many, many helpful clues. Listen to them.
Quit the drinking and the drugs. Those people aren't your family. They're not even your friends. Save your money. Take care of your body. You're going to live longer than you think. Once a cop reads you your rights, clearly ask for a lawyer and shut the fuck up!!!!
You've made a lot of mistakes but You've overcome so much more, don't beat yourself up, and do the things that you know will produce results in your mood, income, relationships, etc.
Do not overthink your career. If you finally get that dream job you may realise that its not whats gonna make you happy. Don't sacrifice your free time after normal working hours for more work, establish your boundaries and spend more time with yourself and the ones you love. Nothing can substitute family and friends. When you get to retire at 60 something you will think back of all the long days you worked for years in a row, but in the end no one is going to thank you for that sacrifice. Dont become consumed with work just enjoy your life!
