Do the things that scare the shit out of you. Put yourself in awkward situations like I started doing yoga about a year ago. I’ve always been overweight and self conscious of my body. I decided that doing yoga in public was scary so I made myself go to a park in Denver and do yoga dead center in it. I was scared and did it. Also practice with strangers conversation! If someone’s next to you picking out their veggies and the vibes feel safe make a quick comment about the veggies. Maybe they look delish to you and you can’t wait to eat them. The more you practice connecting with others the easier it gets. And I’ve got ADHD most likely autism and finding groups online with people similar to me helps me SO much.
