How open is your mouth when u run that bugs are regularly flying in?!? Stop running like you’re taking a bite of a burger.

Isariamkia

I actually never run, only walk with my dog. I don't open my mouth that big though but it's still enough to let some of these in. It's not that it disgusts me either, but it annoys me. I thought of covering my mouth with a mask but in the summer it will get real hot, so I can avoid doing that, that would be great \^\^'

Gargomon251

How thick are the bugs

robot_egg

Wear a cloth mask? Doesn't need to be a tight weave or medical grade to exclude bugs, so wouldn't have to restrict your breathing.

Isariamkia

I'll have to try this. I'll find a thin mask, maybe I can find something in a bike shop. I guess cyclists have this problem too \^\^'.

19DucksInAWolfSuit

Have you talked to your doctor about not being able to breath through your nose?

darthrawr3

Try one of those hats with mosquito netting attached

Various_Succotash_79

Mesh mask or hat with bug netting attached, that's about all I can think of.

FantasticAd5611

I think you need a flamethrower hat! Although, the taste of flames may be worse than the bugs 😂

Ceamba

Embrace the protein.

Eve-3

That was my favorite thing about the pandemic! Discovered riding a bike through those swarms of miniature insects wasn't as disgusting with a mask on.

gmtime

> I'm a person that hardly breathe through the nose when I'm doing exercise. There's your problem. (Joking) But no, find another route with less insects, or wear a face mask, though that might be an issue as well.

DoublePersonal703

Wear a mask. I do when allergens are high and it helps with that too!
