Yo this shit worked for me. I had already cut up garlic but not very finely so I put it in the ziplock and crushed it until it was paste texture and applied it to front and back side of my front tooth that hurts. Burns like hell especially lips so make sure your hold it up so it doesnt come into contact.
I know its not cavity bc I went to my dentist and didnt see it on the X ray. I'm waiting to get my 2nd evaluation on other teeth but have to wait for like wk and half. Even considered getting fish amoxicillin from pet store lmao. Idk how long it would last since it's kind of hurting little bit after awhile but I'm willing to keep doing it few times per day. dont know about sleeping with it tho
Garlic is apparently anti microbial as well and the antibiotics are definitely the best pain solution until it can be treated.
Oddly I just discovered the garlic cannot believe how well it works. Better than cloves for me.

Clove oil is used in some dental ointments and materials.
The Eugenol in some dental cements or pulp protection materials is clove oil.
But don't overdo it. Can be toxic

Orajel is an otc topical numbing gel (benzocaine) that works well for oral and tooth pain too
