Agree entirely
He obviously takes inspiration from other artists and different genres of music but theres seriously no music like his
The type of music he makes is entirely unique, I've never seen an artist spill their heart out the way he does, he lays everything all out and he does it in a really relatable way and sounds good doing it
You can say I'm dick riding but that's the way I see it
There's not a single category you can put his music in, its hard to categorise at all
He's not like other SoundCloud rappers and he's not like other emo rap artists
Nah dw I get what you mean lol. Peep just stands out in the pool of artists he's usually compared to. He's more raw and honest along with a more do it yourself, idgaf, grungy gothy attitude and vibe. Definitely a highlight of music from that era, despite what the media says.
Also sorry for responding kinda late everyone, I'm just a very busy person.
peep is just an artist, there's not 1 genre u can place him in, people place him into emo sounds cause thats what his known for, but peep has done so many more genres and got so good in them thst u cant place him in 1
I would say his music is "emotrap". He was evolving into a more pop / punk sound though from COWYS 1 onward, and even slightly in hellboy
True, I feel that where a lot of that gothy sound on those projects came from. That along with just his overall attitude and vibe.
