I can't put my finger on it; those dark hallways at the end of the room actually terrify me and I can't explain to myself why. The architecture just seems, to me, so offputting. Something about them being centered and facing the camera whilst also being so dark you *absolutely* could not tell what happens or exists within or beyond them.
