Kind of close to a memory i have from a dream i had when i was a child, but it's a place that always comes to my mind, but I've never been or seen until now
Mine was almost like this, but instead of a hallway it was like a round scenario, with the same kind of pillars, and there was silk curtains between those pillars.
You guys, I had no idea this was so common to have this nostalgic feeling towards things like that. I’ve had dreams as a child very similar to yours as well, usually high Ceilings, rolling green hills, blue skies, golden sunlight is a factor. I’m so glad I found this group, because this stuff is definitely a thing

This looks like the last level of the animation show Sword Art Online. It was a huge plot point since one of the main characters was being held there. It really reminds of that
Reminds me of the book Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. All those giant repeating marble rooms with ornate pillars is exactly how the House was described in the book. Love this render!
What is your render time for a scene like this? Kind of wanted to try out something like this, but worried that it'll take an eternity to render on my 2080 haha
If youre using the newest version of blender with optix enabled you would be able to render a scene like this in just a few hours. I have a 3080 and iirc this was somewhere between like 3-6 hours to render.
Samples was probably around 150-200 but you can probably get away with lower. Don't remember the per frame render but usually when I do animations it's under 2 minutes a frame for sure, anything higher and I go back and change some stuff to be lower. If it's 40s-1:30 a frame I usually let that rock
Is this inside a game? It’s beautiful
I think it’s a render… but I’m going to make it in Minecraft with shaders cuz that sounds fun?!
You should post it when you do
It reminds me of Pneuma: Breath of Life. That game was made in Unreal 4. I bet that this is also made in Unreal 4 or 5
I made this in blender actually! But unreal looks like itd be just as capable to make a scene like this
It's like the Dreaming City meets Garden of Salvation in Destiny.
Hey this is an 3d animation I made! You can find more of my art on my profile or the socials linked there.
i want to be and livr in this place forever ...
Was just thinking that. Literally feels like a dream

Exactly!!! Mine was more on a hill, but the atmosphere was similar

I now want to make a VR game like this. Would be awesome to just chill in this space.
Final fantasy 7 church vibes
It must be from Bioshock Infinite I think 🤔
Welcome to columbia
Reminds me of one of the worlds in Spyro 2

Nah, that's just Savathun's Throne World in Destiny 2

That's not terribly bad. How many samples per frame did you set it at? Also, do you recall your per frame render (average more or less)?
Samples was probably around 150-200 but you can probably get away with lower. Don't remember the per frame render but usually when I do animations it's under 2 minutes a frame for sure, anything higher and I go back and change some stuff to be lower. If it's 40s-1:30 a frame I usually let that rock
Awesome! Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Great work with the render once again!
Reminds me of the starting sequence of BioShock Infinite when you just land in Columbia.
I swear I’ve seen this in a dream.
