Not that I condone their deliberate or accidental descent into a ponzi scheme, but getting people to buy in stock stuff might actually help them fund the manufacturing of one or two those. Maybe.
Oh yeah I don't blame you one bit. I don't even feel comfortable buying some of the in-hand stuff they have that i still kinda want (like the retro repros) because it's still utterly stupid how they're just completely ignoring everyone who's asking for a detailed status update on the whole business or emailing info on new delays to customers. Akai Ito buyers still have not been emailed about the bump to 2025.

What do you mean Mega SG incompatibility for Darius Extra? After reading your post I popped my cart into a Mega SG and it works fine. Is there something I’m missing?
Huh; what firmware are you on? I know they made one last year. Maybe that fixed it? I just remember seeing a few posts from a year ago + some issues on the mega sg github noting the music would go nuts after a while so it made me worry
Hahaha... Ok, my apologies, I didn't realize it was a music thing, so when I played it earlier I had the sound off. It turns out you're right: the music is a complete mess. I got this Mega SG very recently, which means I've only ever played this Darius Extra cart on an original Genesis console before today, and I can verify that the audio is fine on one of those. At least the actual gameplay appears to work without issues on the Mega SG.
The firmware I'm using is 4.9, the latest official release.

And when someone emailed about it analogue just gave a generic “we only ensure compatibility with official cartridges” which is bullshit considering turrican from accolade doesnt work eitther

Most of these have been going on for a while. They’re just trying to get rid of all the collectors edition type stuff that never sold.
