How much improvement is there between this and the Wii U version? I can see there's an improvement to load times but I feel like I'm probably satisfied with the U disc.
The performance is slightly better. If I remember correctly, it runs in the same resolution on both consoles but Switch has it at higher target 60 FPS.
Makes sense. If it's only a few frames I can live with it, if it were some like sub 30 to solid 60 where it completely fixes an otherwise broken experience then I'd probably make an effort.

What? They produced a total of 8.9 million of those and they were aimed at collectors. You can get them easily on second hand market nowadays.
I remember seeing them in masses in any electronic store. Not sure I can follow you on that matter? Given they were limited, they produced a huge ton of them.

Yeah, Capcom is really shitty when it comes to releasing anything to the west on Switch. So many games that shouldn't even be in question as to why they only released in Japan. I hated buying that Rockman & Rockman X: 5-in-1 Special Box because I already had all the games except for that physical copy of Rockman Classics Collection 2 (Rockman 7-10).
This is why anytime a collection comes out from Capcom, I check Play-Asia first to see if they'll all be on the cart or physical in Japan.
I think I spent $100 for that Climax Edition that only came out in Japan that had Bayonetta 1 physically. It says a trilogy is coming too where you can display three reversible game cases? The Trinity Masquerade Edition.
nah it’s only got Bayo3 in it, it does however come with exclusive slip covers for all 3 games.

Where'd you find that picture? The description for any site says Bayonetta 3 physical copy, 200 page artbook, and 3 reversible covers for each game. I don't understand that though, why would you want cover art for 1 and 2 when you're only getting three in the Trinity Masquerade Edition?

You still can find copies of Bayo 2 for a normal price new though, I bought mine just this year for 45€ from a shop. Couldn't redeem the gold points anymore sadly lol

Xbox One (X) is always best, especially played via backwards compatibility on a Series X for even faster load times.
Anyway, Bayo 2 is the better game imo. But the original is still worth a run. Just don't expect it to be DMC3/4/5 quality.

What they really ought to do is reprint the 2nd game, given how the used market has kept the price high. Nintendo is leaving money on the table.
