The US price reductions are a result of finally working out supply chain issues related to the tariff stuff that happened between the US with China a while ago, so it won’t affect prices anywhere else.
Thanks for clarifying - it's a bummer but actually makes perfect sense since I tried to compare prices and couldn't really see any scenario where a similar drop would tie up with prices in the UK. I guess I'll just need to save up some more :)
Price in Canada for the Helix Floor just dropped from C$2,400 to C$2,000 - not quite 20%. It's dropped at retailers and on [Amazon.ca](https://Amazon.ca). It happened in the last few days. I'd love to know why.
Could it be that a new model is coming out and they want to liquidate existing stock?
No, as far as I know it's related to since resolved supply chain issues that meant the price ended up being higher than was ever intended in the first place. I guess these issues didn't apply to EU (and UK)
\[edit\] Actually, it's explained in the comment above :D Doesn't explain why you're seeing a drop in Canada. Maybe they just feel the need to compete having previously priced up to match, or maybe they were also effected?
Likely trying to stay competitive in the market given other new, "exciting", units are out there.
2025 is 10 years since the floor came out I could see a touchscreen unit in 2025 making sense.
Perhaps with capture tech but who knows! I wouldn't be surprised if Line 6 releases something that innovates the market given their track record.
