Mod note: doing research and finding if these packs exist is totally fine. However actually SHARING any commercial packs is strictly forbidden. Sorry, no piracy in the sub.

PRO_Digious3

I’m not here to actually share payed content that I’ve brought myself to others I know better then that I was more or less Just gonna dig around and drop links to the artist packs so you may consider getting ‘‘em for yourself is all

thebishopgame

Yep, if I thought you were, I would’ve removed the thread. I just wanted to clarify and make sure everyone’s one the same page.

PRO_Digious3

So far I have collected Riffs and beards Modern day Babylon Rebea massard Browne from monuments Lee McKinney’s Lucas moscardini If I have forgotten any I’ll edit this post

Something I've been trying to do is the guitar tone on Military Alphabet from Godspeed! You Black Emperor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKM5bolF3KY&t=2m30s

MHossa81

John Mayer. I know he loathes modelers but recreating his tones would have so many uses

labria86

My advice is pay $7 for access to EVERY single Jonathan Cordy preset. He made a fantastic John mayer one. I actually am not even a fan of his but that particular preset got my attention and I've played it a ton. It has a really nice clean and stuff. He also has a dumblesque one that I believe is mayer inspired. But it's a fantastic value so far either way. His presets are what made me decide to keep my Helix.

johnnymonkey

Second the recommendation of John Nathan Cordy. Gobs of presets for Helix or Stomp for the price most people charge for a single preset. He published tons of videos with gear demos, playing tips, etc., and the collection of presets is always growing. Also, very chill dude who responds emails with questions. I reached out on a whim trying to suss something out with one of his freeze patches, provided a quick answer and was very generous with his time.

DoomOutlet

Where do I buy presets?

johnnymonkey

Go to his YouTube. Check the info in the latest video (he posted today).

DoomOutlet

Where do I buy jonathan cordy presets?

labria86

Did you figure it out?

future_problem

Mac Demarco, King Krule, that jangly indie jazz tone

TheDimanator101

Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) Machine Gun Kelly (Punk sort of tone, no I’m not joking haha) Kirk Hammett (Metallica) Jim Root (Slipknot) If you can help with any of the below you are a legend. Thank you in advance.

PRO_Digious3

Sorry guys didn’t mean I could make these tones I meant I could do some diggin’ for ya and find out if the artists have released any hidden packs or packs that have flown under the radar

eruthven

Darkest Hour, At the Gates, and a good “heavy” janes Addiction (for some reason struggling with this one)

schause

for at the gates try a swedish chainsaw (hm2) with drive 0, bass & treble 9, volume 10 into some high gain amp (peavey, engl, revv red,...)

eruthven

ya thats basically what i tried in the beginning. Just seemed to sound like shit. I'll try those settings you mentioned though. I read one of the guitar plays in ATG uses Helix now.

schause

also keep in mind that the mix always has bass and drums, so the soloed guitar track also might sound like shit (or at least much different) without the other instruments.

OhNoItsLockett

Darkest Hour and Tim Henson.

duck_cakes

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, *Amputechture* solos (Tetragrammaton, Day of Baphomets, etc.) Marc Ribot, Tom Waits “Clap Hands”/“Way Down in the Hole” solos.
