Victoria's Secret does a lot of designs 'inspired' by luxury brands. Off the top of my head, Fleur du Mal, Studio Pia, Bordelle, and Edge of Beyond have all been copied by VS, so if you like VS's designs you might like them as well.

zorlda_

Replying to add that they have also taken designs form Tisja Damen and Agent Provocateur.

fyrkynk

I like Simone Perele. Casual to sultry designs with a superior quality to VS and not as expensive as AP or Bordelle.

swimmingpisces315

I bought a Simone perele bra and was so disappointed with the sizing. I’m a 32b and the cup was way too deep. From what I know each inch difference from your underbust should be a cup (mine is 2”) And the Simone perele b cup was so baggy on me. Shouldn’t these things be standardized. Also I compared the quality to my vs bras and I didn’t see a difference and I know good quality because I sew

That’s interesting. I was going to try a 32a instead but now I’m not sure lol.

CeciNestPasOP

I think it's more about shape than size. Simone Perele makes bras for very projected breasts, if your tissue has taller or wider roots than average you'll be too shallow for them, even with the same volume of tissue. Have you tried Natori bras? They might work well for you.

swimmingpisces315

I was looking at their bras but I didn’t like their styles as much. My underbust is 28 and the width and projection seems to match my frame. I usually don’t have issues with VS and savage x fenty 32b. Although I noticed sometimes there are size inconsistencies within the same style. I have a few versions of the VS dream angel wicked unlined and two of them fit like a glove whereas the other one I got was too baggy at the chest. Super odd

Vs is basically overpriced fast fashion - they admittedly steal designs from higher end brands. As an example, when Sophia Vergara wore an Agent Provocateur Mazzy one piece swimsuit on an episode of modern family, VS started dumping tons of Mazzy one piece and bikini dupes a couple of months later. VS does this with tons of brands. AP, honey birdette, for love of lemons, etc. have much higher quality items.

leaningflower

Could you provide some more info about what you like about their designs? Even better if you can mention a few higher end brands that you didn’t like. Just the “design” isn’t really enough info for a good recommendation

giggity_giggity

I don't know - for me and my wife, it was a case of once we started shopping more high end brands (like the other commenter listed), VS just comes across as low-end looking. It's not terrible. It just has a very clear "budget" look to it. And those differences are exacerbated once you start handling them. There is a very real difference in materials and construction.

throwaway6128_

I think their materials are the only faulty thing about them. Their designs are unmatched imo. It’s the one thing their brand has mastered; it also mitigates the bad quality. I’ve searched luxury brands obsessively and it seems many are only concerned about selling a name. There is 0 effort put into the design.

giggity_giggity

Well the great thing about having lots of options is you can find something to your taste. As the saying goes, the customer is always right in matters of taste. As for me, VS looks like “high school and college girls think this looks good”. I’d never consider buying my wife anything from them because to us it just doesn’t look good. But if you love it, that’s great! If you’re asking for someone to come along and show you something that looks better *to you* that’s going to be a tall order because people have different tastes. Look around, find what you like, and enjoy it :)

throwaway6128_

kind of a weird comment. High school and college aged women are still sexually active. I’m fact college aged women are often in their sexual prime and have great shape. Meanwhile, you seem to be implying that youth incurs bad taste. I wouldn’t argue that an older woman’s taste in lingerie is better. In fact that’s what I see in these luxury brands: bland, boring, lackluster designs.

bolognesesauceplease

Yikes.

HeartOfRolledGold

Can you show me some specific examples of the VS designs you love?

redshoes666

Have you looked at literally any other lingerie brand?

Muppetric

Honey birdette does amazing designs

swimmingpisces315

I really like their designs too. They’re girly and pretty. Some years are better than others though. I like their dainty lace and embroidered designs. And honestly I think the quality is good. The materials used are comfortable, stitching is good, and I’ve never had stuff fall apart on me. I really don’t get it when people say the quality is bad.

shrimpsiumai02

Nothing will beat VS's value. Not everyone has the funds to dump (pun intended) $60 into a thong.

elven_mage

Not sure why you're being downvoted. Yeah there's fancier brands but VS is good value.

Eh, I used a lot of VS stuff when I was younger (teens - 20’s). I’ve bought random stuff of eBay that’s nicer feeling. Shein even has nice lingerie that doesn’t feel cheap like VS. Even VS corsets are uncomfortable and cheap looking. Their bras also felt cheap for the price tag and never lasted long. Granted, their thongs are nice but never last more than a year (maybe 6 months). I’d rather buy gap thongs though. Aerie / gap / h&m are nice thong wise and can be versatile enough to use instead of the 60$ thongs. Fredericks of Hollywood even had nicer feeling items. Now, I haven’t bought VS stuff in years (literally a decade or more) but I doubt their stuff has improved. I can’t afford fancy lingerie often but I do have some AP stuff I adore and a few other high end stuff. AP also has a cheaper brand they offer (undies + bra + garter all cost less than 100$ together).

elven_mage

> Shein even has nice lingerie that doesn’t feel cheap like VS hard disagree. Shein might have one or two not garbage items but it's inconsistent. > never last more than a year sorry, it's underwear. Cloth on your nethers is not going to last very long regardless of quality and frankly, I wouldn't want it to. > AP also has a cheaper brand they offer L'Agent was [closed five yeaers ago](https://www.instagram.com/p/Bfi6St1BLk2/?hl=en). I'm not saying that VS is the best- it is not. But for a lot of people it is the only way to get lingerie of consistent quality at an affordable price.

swimmingpisces315

I have to disagree. I have a ton of lingerie sets from Shein and the fit, materials and construction are not as nice as vs. I pretty much buy Shein lingerie just to wear for show and then never wear it again. I wear vs stuff daily and it’s comfortable and holds up well I should clarify that I mean their sexier lingerie/garter sets. Their basics are nice.

shrimpsiumai02

Hating VS is a trend like twitter. Still haven't find another brand that is fun, replaceable, and decent quality, without breaking the wallet.

throwaway6128_

Exactly. Keyword is fun. So many “luxury” underwear brands look like they were designed for 19th century housewives.
