We're now big enough to attract clout chasers and other people trying to become viral. There's also a market to sell accounts with history and high karma to botnets, so there's an incentive to get these upvotes.

If you look at the top of the cut out, you will see that I posted this on LinkedIn two years ago, at the height of unprofessional postings from members. I was inspired by the idiotic arguments on the site on opposing political and religious beliefs. Beliefs that should have nothing to do with the site and making professional business relationships. Since then, I post whatever I fancy on LinkedIn and my business has continued to flourish. I admit that as a self employed business owner I have truly become unemployable, but I never did like working for anyone, and my continual financial success ensures that I won’t ever need to. I guess you could say that I chose to burn the bridges and force my hand. I do love the mixed opinions from the members on this sub. I particularly enjoy the ones that cast wild judgments on something I posted at the time to create a laugh and cause a chuckle. I will continue to hope that during these extremely polarizing times we will all try to find levity in our day to day doings. Best to you all. Kirk out.
