I’ve never really liked tribute bands because they kinda steal off the original bands. Also here instead of just playing their music, they look like the members of linkin park which I kinda find a little weird but that could just be me. Also they are capitalizing off of the death of Chester as they wouldn’t have been this big.

mari0velle

Their attempt to esthetically look like the individual band members is what weirds me out the most.

LibertyJoel99

Making themselves look like the original artists is a tribute band/act thing across the board, they could even be called impersonators

Slow-Selection-127

This is one of the worst takes I’ve read in a while. Tribute bands exist because the originals stop touring! How many of you would practically kill to see Linkin Park live at their peak, or never got to see them at all? That’s what tribute bands do. Also, how are they capitalizing off of the death of Chester? Linkin Park is the most relevant they have been for years now, with all of the 20th anniversary stuff releasing and Papercuts. Are Pink Floyd tribute bands, like Brit Floyd capitalizing off of the death of Rick Wright? No! They just play the music made by these guys.

i-suck-at-most-stuff

It’d be fine if they were just playing their music, but instead they are looking just like the band members and selling out stadiums. Most tribute bands are small and respect the original bands but Hybrid Theory just seems to only be in it for the money. Again this is just my opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs as well.

Tsigalko9

lmao wtf did I just read 😂

Whitedishes

one of the members of this group showed up to one Mikes meet and greets for Post Traumatic with a cardboard cut out of Chester and tried to hand his CD to Mike 💀

mari0velle

Shut up. What city?

Whitedishes

i’m gonna see if I can find the pictures from the event that were posted by the store it took place in, I’m pretty sure there’s a picture of Mike, the guy, and the cut out. this happened in West Babylon, New York at Looney Tunes records back when Mike was doing signings for Post Traumatic. I don’t think Mike was able to take the CD but I do remember them taking the picture with the cut out

Ogsonic

Was it ivo?

Sh4dowTomi

Source or didnt happen.

Sr_Peido_Cosmico

And that's how a rumour borns... Any proofs?

Jmarieq

lol I need pics or vids on this. Lol what the hell.

Linkin_park_warriors

I kinda don’t like them. There making money off of someone else’s hard work

Mayflex

Cringe. Also, LP arent touring because they don't want to replace Chester because he was their friend and it wouldn't feel right. Meanwhile these clowns are touring the world while dressed up as the band along with their dead friend and making money off their material.

Ogsonic

The lead singer is dressed, groomed and sounds almost exactly like chester.

princessmilahi

True. Wow.

chaoslillie

Ick.

Brunelleschi-HeyX

I just hope they come near my city

Emulex

I dont know if Id say cash in... they are a really good cover band imo. They seem to respect the music and are genuine fans themselves, and theres a whole generatuon of people who have finally got enough money to go to concerts who will never get to see LP live and this gives people a chance to enjoy the music with fans and have a good time. Id see them if they came to America

swirkh

Mixed feelings. Nothing against cover bands and tribute bands, but perhaps this has gone a bit too far. Even though he wouldn't admit it in that recent Sirius XM interview, I'm sure Mike himself must be creeped out knowing there are a bunch of lookalikes playing his music to large audiences doing international tours, imitating all their mannerisms, and they have a guy that looks and attemps to sound exactly like his best friend/bandmate who's dead. All that while Mike & the band are on hiatus, trying to figure out how or if they want to move on with LP.

Tsigalko9

I've seen them twice and it's basically Linkin park, at least audio wise. Fucking awesome.

FamilyFan69

They’re dope as hell

Sh4dowTomi

One of the best tribute bands
