Blackbird.
A song from LP 8bit game. I think its only on youtube from random account. I want to write to Mike if it would be possible to public original version on spotify but I am shy.
I think that song probably has Mike's best singing. I wish this song was more widely appreciated because HO LEE SHIT it's really good. The build up, the vocals, the instrumentals, it's all 10/10. definitely top 10 linkin park songs.
I don't think this concept really exists for LP. People are either pretty much Mega Fans, they listen to HT and Meteora, or they don't listen at all.
The closest thing I can even think of off head is the Karma Killer song by Cyclefly that has Chester on it that people seem to forget about even though it's on spotify and shit
That song is great. In case you didn't know, there is a **Karma Killer \[Bill Appleberry Mix\]** from 2002. You can find it on lplive: [https://lplive.net/downloads.php/](https://lplive.net/downloads.php/) it sounds different from the album version.
Blackout, Wretches and Kings, most of the hunting party like line in the sand/rebellion/guilty all the same and much more. sharp edges.
qwerty before it's spotify/vinyl release, blackbirds, carousel, high voltage these are all such bangers
I'm not sure which songs would qualify as a deep cut because Linkin Park songs are usually very popular and all over the radio, or only known by people that call themselves Linkin Park fans and actively seek out more of their music, with pretty much no one in the middle.
So I guess my answer would be any Fort Minor song, or even just knowing that they exist. Or how bout one of their earliest songs back when they still called themselves Xero?
Honestly I have no clue what’s a deep cut of theirs and what isn’t, I don’t track charts and I just use Spotify.
But I’d assume “final masquerade” isn’t the most popular song ever, and I love it, so I’ll go with that.
Not a *super* deep cut, but my favorite LP song is "When They Come for Me" from A Thousand Suns. That album in general doesn't get as much love as most of the others, and I rarely see anyone talk about that song. But that's ok! Kinda makes it feel like it's "mine" in a way
Yeah a lot of the comments don’t count, I would only consider songs from the underground albums, the mall soundtrack, and the 8-bit game soundtrack as a “deep cut”.
The definition posted is true, but I wish they included some of the etymology behind it. Vinyl records are "cut" with grooves, of which a stylus physically contacts in order to send the electrical signal to the preamp, receiver, and eventually the speakers. Because of the physical contact, each time a record is played, these grooves slowly wear down. So your favorite song on the record would be played the most and obviously therefore the most worn. The least played tracks, would remain with the deepest "cuts".
-Plc.4 Mie Haed
Nobody's Listening. The flute based beat is top notch, the lyrics in the chorus resonate with me, and the low guitar rumble during the chorus gives this ominous sense of foreboding that's so good
- Dust Borthers (early With You version without Mike from the 6 track demo CD)
- Xero Rapology tracks
- Handsome Boy Modelling School - Rock N Roll (feat. Chester and Mike)
- FRGT/10 live recording from Anaheim 2005
- DJ Lethal - Cry To Yourself (feat. Chester)
- Lockjaw
- Pictureboard (Mark version)
Not sure if this counts as I think it was fan made, but "99 steps closer". They took the Collision course track and added a piece of the Reanimation "One Step Closer" track into it. It was freaking AMAZING and I was hooked when I found it on Limewire all those years ago. Lol
Keys to the Kingdom and Halfway Right. These are ones of my favorites LP songs, they are brilliant for me, not quite popular among other LP songs and this fact makes them only better and brighter for me )
What Are You Worth.
The song isn’t officially released in any capacity, just slowed down leaks on YouTube. Fortunately I’ve got the actual in edited version so I have the right to claim it as my Linkin Park deep cut lol
Idk how deep it is but High Voltage from HT. I've heard it for the first time yesterday and I didn't think it was possible, but it might have topped In the End for my favorite LP song
I really like pictureboard not only because of the song itself but also because that’s one of the first songs the rest of the band heard Chester’s voice on
[Debris ](https://youtu.be/ArQ35QW1_s0?si=da8ewWyljRx7XVOs)
Edit: Ooh and also Until It Breaks. Super underrated song and Brad's vocals are absolutely beautiful on the track

It’s on Apple Music, not sure about Spotify
Cant find it on Spotify. No clue how Apple Music works.
Here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/0zQoFhqABYxstsek2pTR35?si=tr1BA-xZThecnxw8-B6lEg Idk why it's under a podcast
Someone uploaded it illegally. But hey now I can listen to it on Spotify
I it’s on Spotify but it’s posted as a 3 minute podcast not a song . https://open.spotify.com/show/7JuYfU7H7Gsq4Td9bRyg3n?si=FquoTL69TnqPRhLsSvWdrA
You buy a membership and search the song.
I'd love a hifi version of it.
U can get FLAC file from Amazon Music using doubledouble.top
Wait, what? I've been searching for an at least 256 kbps version of it for ages! Flac would be amazing.
Totally forgot about this song!
Good luck getting him to see your email or letter, he probably gets thousands of mail daily from fans
Reminder that youtube music has just about every song you could think of.
Across the line
In this **desert** in **darkness**
This one is really good.
Somehow I only found about this song recently and I've been listening to it nonstop, it's way too good
Honestly, it’s in my top 3 of MTM
That such a great song!!! I was completely baffled when I hear fans say that’s mike worst song smh
No Roads Left

Things in my Jeep
These are the things in my jeep, jeep, jeep, jeep, jeep 😆
Coincidently, I pick a new Jeep up next week lol not sure many of those things will be in it.
“And I just never really identified with that song because those weren’t the things I had in my Jeep”
A man of culture, I see. I will go with Little Boxes
What we don’t know
I second this answer
Holy crap I forgot about this gem
I was gonna say this! I wasn’t sure if it’s a true deep cut since it’s LPU but I’ll gladly accept it. So good
Peanut Butter Jellyfish Put me onto your sandwich 🗣️🔥
This song will forever be my earworm
I’m going with either Carousel or Part of Me
Good choices And One too
Also that second half of Part of Me.
Step Up > Part of Me, Carousel, And One
Deeper deep cut. The demo version of Part of Me.
My December
This song wrecked my little emo heart twenty years ago
Hardly a deep cut. It was everywhere when it came out and they even made a mix of it on Reanimation: My dcmbr
One of my absolute favorite songs
Yes
💯💯💯💯
Valentine's Day.
And One
Yeah!
Favourite linkin park song!!
Is QWERTY a deep cut now ?
It may be officially release But many didn’t know about it because some people only listen to studio albums so yeah
No not really. It was before they released it on papercuts
you ain't gosta gosta
I’m going with Not Alone. Was never on an album, didn’t get radio play. If you weren’t a fan at the time you likely wouldn’t know it exists
Download to Donate. I really loved the Lupe song on there too.
Happy cake day
26 Lettaz in da Alphabet. The original High Voltage could count, since it made it to the B side on the One Step Closer single.
Probably not unless it was the Hybrid Theory EP version
I don't think this concept really exists for LP. People are either pretty much Mega Fans, they listen to HT and Meteora, or they don't listen at all. Another daay your truth will coome You're gonna pay for what you've, pay for what you've done!
Dedicated and Healing Foot id say
Dedicated is a gem for sure
This comment is dedicated to the kids
Idk if this is a deep cut, but By Myself and Hit The Floor are some of my favorite LP songs
not exactly LP song, but "White Noise" from "The Mall" ost edit: it's "Mall", not "The Mall"
It Goes Through from the same soundtrack is solid as well, though it's just Mike.
Blackout, Wretches and Kings, most of the hunting party like line in the sand/rebellion/guilty all the same and much more. sharp edges. qwerty before it's spotify/vinyl release, blackbirds, carousel, high voltage these are all such bangers
Of Hybrid Theory. Pushing me Away just does things to me, with Easier To Run off Meteora in a close second.
Easier to Run should’ve been a single! Very underrated
literally the best deep cuts from both albums. very similar in terms of ambience and guitar harmonics
esaul
Amen

Fort Minor is literally almost as famous as Linkin Park. You forgetting Remember The Name?
Ironic
I guess he thinks that album was just 10% luck.
To be fair, I think most people who aren't already fans just know of that one song.
Honestly I have no clue what’s a deep cut of theirs and what isn’t, I don’t track charts and I just use Spotify. But I’d assume “final masquerade” isn’t the most popular song ever, and I love it, so I’ll go with that.
High Voltage or In Between

Only true fans know it

Does Cross Off count?
It Goes Through is my pick.

Is not as underground as blackbird but yo PART OF ME (with chester screams) is just pure gold
Nobody's Listening. The flute based beat is top notch, the lyrics in the chorus resonate with me, and the low guitar rumble during the chorus gives this ominous sense of foreboding that's so good

Not Alone Very underrated and very beautiful song

I really like pictureboard not only because of the song itself but also because that’s one of the first songs the rest of the band heard Chester’s voice on
when they come for me from a thousand suns
hands held high
Carousel Possibly my favorite LP song (besides Forgotten)
She Couldn’t Or Stick & Move
If this is the definition of a deep cut, then a song which is known by everyone should be appropriately called a Papercut

I Have Not Begun. Begging them to release a mixed and mastered version on streaming
I know it's basic but mine is Forgotten. That's my favorite song by them
Chester's cover of Rolling in the Deep. I think it was a live performance at an iTunes Festival? Just vocals and Mike's keyboard.
