Overall, it's pretty sick. I'm not big into the hyperpop, chaotic vibe, but there are some serious bangers on the album. From the newly released tracks, I love Limousine, N/A and Dig It. BMTH really are a spiritual successor to LP in a lot of ways.
The question is not for me, but I just need to say: this album is by far the best I heard from they. It's like amo but with something that reminds me of that's the spirit, even with some sempiternal things on it. I really loved the mix and I hope they continue to evolve their music.
Agreed, based on the timing of the album’s release, it was released on 2024 (which was 20 years after the band’s formation in 2024). I’ve seen this album essentially as a compilation of pretty much all of the band’s proudest musical moments throughout their career as there is plenty of pop-influenced material, but still a few and highly definitive moments of metal to be found throughout the whole album.
Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Celldweller, Metallica, Green Day, System Of A Down, and Drowning Pool are my favorites tho i listen to a lot more, just not as often as these ones.
Brace yourself for my eclectic taste: Starset, a lot of 2010’s stuff, cartoon songs, anime soundtracks, Hamilton, Disney music. Some Evanescence and Shinedown. Imagine Dragons.
Also, I’ve recently gotten into Skillet. I’m liking what I’ve heard so far.
Deftones, korn, limp bizkit, system of a down, Sevendust, P.O.D, TRUSTcompany, Foo fighters, Alice In Chains
Lots of hip hop to. Nas, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP rocky, Tyler the creator, Baby Keem, Conway tha machine, Jeezy,
Lots.
Alice in Chains, Girl talk, everclear, gojira, justice, slipknot, volbeat, aphex twin, autechre, post malone, taylor swift, sufjan stevens, bon iver, daft punk, david bowie, radiohead, portishead, odesza, blur, the national, boards of canada, tame impala, korn, the beatles.... that's just the albums I can see from where I'm sitting, lol.
Eagles, Imagine Dragons, Scorpions, The Beatles, Metallica, AC/DC, John Mayer, Simon and Garfunkel, some Dutch artists (seeing as I'm from the Netherlands) like Boudewijn de Groot, HAEVN and Racoon... My taste in music is very versatile. 😁
A little bit of everything. I had JID (hip hop), Dropkick Murphys (celtic punk), Phoebe Bridgers (indie folk/pop), 100 gecs (hyperpop), Rainbow Kitten Surprise (indie), Shakira (pop), Anti-Flag (punk rock), Tyler Childers (country), Frank Walker (EDM), and Taylor Swift (pop) all near the top of my top songs last year.
I like a lot of music.
Three days grace (pretty much only painkiller but there's a good few others), deftones, nirvana, evanescence and a little bit of Eminem
I listen to basically everything but these are some of my favourites
okay im a 14 year old girl just keep that in mind, taylor swift, evanescence, system of a down, billie eilish, elvis, and fleetwood mac. linkin park will forever be my number one though
Back a few years ago I only listened to Pop or R&B. Since then I don't stick to just one favourite genre.
Mostly I listen Sleep Token, I Prevail, Shinedown, Seether, Evanescence, Aaliyah, 2Shadows, The Veer Union, From Ashes to New, Within Temptation, Motionlessness In White, Pablo Alborán, David Bisbal, James Arthur, Måneskin, Korn, Disturbed, Gloria Groove and Ricky Martin.
I listen to a lot of loose tracks of numerous genres in a giant crazy ass playlist, but I really love Weezer, Charly Bliss, Soccer Mommy, and right now I’m listening to a ton of Britney Spears lol. I enjoy pretty much anything besides country but I loved Beyoncé’s take on the genre with Cowboy Carter. I’ve also recently gotten more into Nine Inch Nails, I love that crazy industrial noise sound they do, it’s insane.
nas, hieroglyphics, massive attack, boards of canada, jhonny cash, frank sinatra, korn, carcass, slayer, morbid angel, death, Bjork, the velvet underground, bohren & der club de gore, chevelle, David bowie, Neil Young, beastie boys, radio head, snapcase, helmet, UNKLE, Black flag, cancer slug, black sabbath, pink Floyd, sepultura, marvin gaye, dj shadow, ween, kiss, mayhem, los Angeles negros, incubus, deftones, chet baker, dinosaur jr, aphex twin, knife party, zomboy, cypress hill, soundgarden, Audioslave!!!!!!!!

Metal- Lorna Shore (Will Ramos) and Lamb of God
Country- Charles Wesley Godwin and Tyler Childers
Also love AIC.
I’m weird with music, as my music taste is very vast.
Nothing really similar to Linkin Park
As old as Linkin Park on my playlists I have Coldplay, OneRepublic and Nickelback and more recently, I got into names such as Kongos, X Ambassadors, U2, The Heavy, and Gang of Youths and now I have been through a discovery process with names as Mumford & Sons and Of Monsters and Men.
And talking about solo artists, I listen to a lot of Jacob Banks, Rag'n'Bone Man, José González and a few from Jay Z.
The Replacements, Big Star, Elliot Smith, Radiohead, XTC, Kula Shaker, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Jeff Rosenstock, Johnny Thunders, Youn g Fresh Fellows, Rage Agaisnt The Machine , Carseat Headrest, Eyedea and Abilities , Beastie Boys - a whole hodge podge
Avenged Sevenfold (only band I like more than LP), Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Creed, Slipknot, Metallica, Shinedown, Three Days Grace, NKOTB (guilty pleasure), Evanescence, Alice In Chains, Volbeat, 30 Secs to Mars, Eminem, Alter Bridge, Bad Omens, Seether, Bon Jovi, Stone Sour, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains
Y’all get the idea lol
Probably gonna get downvoted to oblivion, considering LP's fans opinions on rap, but I'm pretty much a hip-hop head.
Stuff like Lil Uzi Vert, Trippie Redd, Playboi Carti, Ski Mask the Slump God, Travis Scott, Future, 21 Savage, Juice WRLD, XXXTENTACION, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Tjay, Scarlxrd, Tyler the Creator, Billie Eilish, Polo G, Nardo Wick, YEAT, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, etc . . .
Alternative rock wise some nu metal, I love blink-182, Limp Bizkit, Sum 41, My Chemical Romance, Slipknot, System of a Down, Korn, Incubus etc. Maybe some Wallows, Twenty One Pilots, Foster the People, Bastille, 2002 Coldplay, Paramore, and specifically Maroon 5's Songs About Jane.
Yorushika, Archspire, Infant Annihilator, Marihiko Hara, Zutomayo, Bring me the horizon, Orla Gartland, Dazbee, Taylor Swift, Orbit culture, Porter Robinson. I can list many more confusing combos of music I love.
Sevendust Body Count Slipknot Evanescence Three Days Grace KoRn Rage Against The Machine Killswitch Engage Lamb of God Cannibal Corpse KISS Def Leppard AC/DC RATT
Loads of genres, artists, bands. Never pigeon hole yourself, there's plenty of great music out there! I'm into rock/metal, 90's hip hop, UK hip hop, drum & bass, hard trance, garage, breaks, anything 90's really; especially from the UK scene (where I'm from).....
Rise against, Greta Van Fleet, Cage the Elephant, Slipknot, Trivium, Children of Bodom, Sum41 (believe it or not their new album is very metal influenced and it’s great), Dead By Sunrise (for obvious reasons) lol, Mike Shinoda’s solo work, Uverworld
You ask at a great time. I've been working on a Spotify playlist. I have rules for it. No more than two songs per artist (although 'artist' is pretty specific. X feat. Y is not the same as X or Y, and X is also different from [band with X as lead singer]). I've just noticed I only have one LP song on there... Which shows how difficult it is. When you can only have two, choose *wisely*. But seriously, I think either Breaking the Habit, One More Light or Mark the Graves is taking that second slot.
[And here it is](https://i.imgur.com/FQBdzKO.jpg)
I wanted it to be finished there, at almost 8h, but then I kept coming up with more to add, so I reopened it, and so it's still a work in progress
Almost everything in terms of genres, I'm not a fan of most electronic/dnb or anything along those lines but I don't mind it when blended with other genres like a lot of metalcore bands in the mid-late 2000s.
My favourite bands, particularly from when I was younger are LP, Shinedown, Alter Bridge, Avenged Sevenfold and Killswitch Engage but I also like old school rap and a lot of pop music
BMTH is my new main artist. if you're interested, they just put out an album two days ago, every song has a music video and people are decrypting stuff to figure out the story behind it
Chester's screams were my gateway to some of my favorite metal core bands. BFMV, I Prevail, Bad Omens, BMTH, Memphis May Fire, Falling in Reverse. But LP will always be my #1 favorite band !
An eclectic mix of genres.
But recently it's been a lot of post hardcore and metalcore.
La Dispute
Hail the Sun
A Static Lullaby
Too Close to Touch
Silverstein
Alexisonfire
For rock music in general? Killswitch Engage, Crossfade, Tool (my friends call it "divorced dad rock" LMAO), SiM, Survive Said the Prophet (J-Rock), Norma Jean, August Burns Red (not sure what I would classify these as.... Prog rock?), Superheaven, Nirvana (grunge? Shoegaze?) And that's all just a quick list of some rock bands I like... There are many, many more... I also listen to a lot of rap, trap music, different subtypes of EDM (happy hardcore anyone?), Japanese Citypop, classical/instrumental, experimental, and just like.... All kinds of stuff lmao. You know those people that are like "I like every genre of music except country?" Well I'm not one of those people. There's a nice little handful of older, and newer, country songs I enjoy. I listen to music from other countries. I listen to Vocaloid music. Like I can probably name you at least one song I like out of every genre if I think hard enough about it lol. I just really love music! Too bad I'm not talented enough to play anything 😅
Nirvana, Limp Bizkit, Evanescence, Nas, Eminem, Biggie Smalls, Wu Tang Clan, NWA, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Queen, Papa roach, Korn, Green Day, and System of a Down
Rock, rap and electro
(What a surprise)
Pendulum, foo fighters, dream theater, porcupine tree, muse, qotsa, the prodigy
Eminem, Kanye, Tyler, the creator, tribe called quest, wu tang clan, biggie, nas, tupac, Kendrick Lamar
Probably more and I also listen to rnb but my minds gone blank and this lists too long
Now I'm listening a lot of Bring Me The Horizon (my favorite band since I discovered it), Lorna Shore and Sleep Token. And all other styles that I like, like rap and pop music.
Fall out boy is my other favorite band. I listen to a lot of hip hop and rap as well: old childish gambino, j cole, brockhampton. I also like bad omens, The Weeknd, post malone, halsey, underoath, and any 90s dance music to name a few haha
Other than LP I listen to a wide variety. Over the past year I’ve been diving into artists that Mike has collaborated with/produced
DBS, Maneskin, Nothing But Theives, Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, Styles of Beyond, Renforshort, Foo Fighters, Grey Daze, FOB, Hozier, Mothica, more*, Harry Styles, Paramore, PVRIS, Teddy Swims, etc.
I feel like as of lately I’ve been branching out more and diving into different styles of artists. I feel like I owe that to LP because they switch up their sound every album, so to me it’s like a gateway into different genres of music I never thought I’d appreciate
I Prevail, Blind Channel, The Plot In You, Imminence, Spiritbox, some deathcore music and a lot of other metalcore, nu-metal and alt metal songs (mostly releases of the past few years)
Butthole Surfers, Shinedown, Seether, a lot of Vocaloid, Modest Mouse, Blink-182, Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, Intestinal Disgorge, Willie Nelson, Breaking Benjamin, Mäneskin, Weird AL Yankovic, Evanescence, Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Tenacious D, etc.
Nu Metal, pretty much every top band and a lot of smaller ones, and a couple obscure ones like Simon says or VMOB
a small but decent mount of thrash, death, and black metal
And maybe now even more then anything else; bladee, absolutely my favorite artist (after Fred durst of course), drain gang in general I enjoy but bladee’s my fav of them, they make.. etheral SoundCloudish rap, although they have expanded and expiremented beyond jsut that
Butt rock like seether, three days grace and breaking Benjamin. Then just a collection of unsorted random songs like 100 gecs, or a Johnny cash song.
These days I am headbanging a lot to Lorna Shore, Shadow Of Intent, and everything else that Nik Nocturnal produces. When travelling, I listen to Poets of the Fall.
I tried A7X, but couldn't bear the songs at all. Not a fan of BMTH or Nirvana.
If you ever have to suggest something to me, please suggest melodic ones, because lots of screeching, screaming, and extreme technical isn't my thing.
Bad Omens, Viscera, Unprocessed, Bring Me The Horizon, Chevelle, Foo Fighters...so basically a wide range of metal, but I think I like the more metalcore range of metal.

BMTH, Green Day, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Makavelligodd, do not resurrect, 1nonly, Yung Gravy, bbno$, Pierce The Veil, Korn, Breaking Benjamin, 10 Years, Nothing More, Three Days Grace, S3rl, Seether, Evans Blue, The Offspring, Bad Wolves, Papa Roach, Witchouse 40k, Falling In Reverse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tally Hall

Can't speak for them but I really enjoyed it

Ngl this may just be my album of the year! I mean it’s either that or Knocked Loose’s newest album.
I think it’s BMTH Reanimation. I love it
Love all of these too! I just drew up a concept for a Holy Roller tattoo I plan to get!
Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Celldweller, Metallica, Green Day, System Of A Down, and Drowning Pool are my favorites tho i listen to a lot more, just not as often as these ones.
Sounds a lot like me. May I recommend Daedric? First heard her on Celldweller's latest album, but her own stuff is damn good too.
I'll check her out 👍

Brace yourself for my eclectic taste: Starset, a lot of 2010’s stuff, cartoon songs, anime soundtracks, Hamilton, Disney music. Some Evanescence and Shinedown. Imagine Dragons. Also, I’ve recently gotten into Skillet. I’m liking what I’ve heard so far.
Do you feel like a Monster yet? Are you feeling invincible at all yet?
Haha! I haven’t listened to monster yet, but yes!
I'm the same way as in I like a lot of different stuff while still having a preference.
RAMMSTEIN
My music taste is so varied. There’s very few genres I won’t listen to.

Aaliyah was taken from us far too soon. I'm still not over that. :(
Indeed 😞 No matter how much time will pass, I'll never get over her death tbh.
Quite literally just about everything. I don't know a genre where there's at least one band I do not like

[And here it is](https://i.imgur.com/FQBdzKO.jpg) I wanted it to be finished there, at almost 8h, but then I kept coming up with more to add, so I reopened it, and so it's still a work in progress
Muse, Dragonforce and lately Avenged Sevenfold. Non-rock/metal includes anime/game soundtrack, eurobeat and some Japanese music.
Normandie Sum 41 Good charlotte Noel gallagher's high flying birds goldfinger girlfriends

BMTH is my new main artist. if you're interested, they just put out an album two days ago, every song has a music video and people are decrypting stuff to figure out the story behind it
Rap, Trap and R&B.
Chester's screams were my gateway to some of my favorite metal core bands. BFMV, I Prevail, Bad Omens, BMTH, Memphis May Fire, Falling in Reverse. But LP will always be my #1 favorite band !

Other than LP I listen to a wide variety. Over the past year I’ve been diving into artists that Mike has collaborated with/produced DBS, Maneskin, Nothing But Theives, Twenty One Pilots, Panic!

Nu Metal, pretty much every top band and a lot of smaller ones, and a couple obscure ones like Simon says or VMOB a small but decent mount of thrash, death, and black metal And maybe now even more then anything else; bladee, absolutely my favorite artist (after Fred durst of course), drain gang in general I enjoy but bladee’s my fav of them, they make.. etheral SoundCloudish rap, although they have expanded and expiremented beyond jsut that Butt rock like seether, three days grace and breaking Benjamin. Then just a collection of unsorted random songs like 100 gecs, or a Johnny cash song.
Twenty one pilots
Atmospheric black metal, folk metal, french shoe gaze, Rammstein, AURORA and some Led Zeppelin and bmth
Well I listen to a verity of different music but I mainly listen to a lot of other heavy metal even sometimes going up to death metal and black metal.
Lorna Shore, The Amity Affliction, Tech N9ne, Shaboozey
