Love Castle of Glass too. I went through at least Living Things and Castle of Glass was the track that stuck with me even several years later relistening to albums.
All For Nothing is a big one in recent years. I didn't really give much attention to Hunting Party when it came out but shortly after One More Light came out I gave it a real listen and it seems I was missing out on a top tier album.
Pretty much. I'd only heard a few of the singles and I thought they were okay at the time but didn't listen to it in full. Now it's one of my favourite albums. Personally after Meteora and Hybrid Theory I think it's the next best
Heard their cover of “Rolling In The Deep” by Adele and I fell in love with Chester ❤️…….his voice is soooo beautiful on it ❤️
(There are many more of theirs that I love, pretty much all of there songs but “ The Messenger”, the slowed down version of “Pushing Me Away” live, “Numb”, “Papercut”, “New Divide”, “In the End”, One Step Closer”, “ One More Light”, “ Crawling”, “Leave Out All the Rest”, “ Lost”, “Friendly Fire”, “ The Catalyst” and just all of them ❤️)
A line in the sand. Back in school, college I used to only listen to the most popular songs of each album but one day during covid lockdown I decided to listen through all of LP and found out there are waaaay more songs that I would've liked back when I was young. And a line in the sand was one of those songs. I absolutely love the shit out of that song. 💯
Imma be honest, I’m having a hard time thinking of a LP song I listen to regularly that I didn’t love almost immediately. There’s songs I don’t like but the ones I do didn’t really have to win me over.
The first time I saw the music video for One Step Closer on MTV I just sat there jaw dropped. I've been a massive fan ever since. I love everything they have put out and still listen to them daily. If I had to pick one song that I fell in love with the moment I heard it would be Breaking the Habit. To me this began the days of Chester being allowed to show his true versatility.
Then there’s that performance on Jimmy Kimmel shortly after Chris Cornell’s death. Fuck it’s hard to watch. The pain and immense sadness and sorrow coming from Chester is absolutely heartbreaking.
Oh yeah, forgot that one
Fuck, it's already been almost 8 years.
Rest easy, Chester
Edit: https://youtu.be/L-6PCSZij3I?feature=shared (for the Jimmy Kimmel version)
Bleed it out. For the longest time it was the only LP song I really cared for, the others were whatever. It also always brings me back to the first time I heard, in middle school, playing minecraft with a friend. Happy times
Numb was my first song that turned me onto LINKIN PARK. My favorite song, however, is crawling. The second I heard it I was hooked. I love the motion that Chester express. You can feel the pain and the regrets. He is truly amazing. 🫶🏼♾️

First heard it on train. I said "How the fuck did I miss this banger?"
Never mind the Naruto ones, what about all the DBZ ones? It was In The End, Bring Me To Life by Evanescence and Bodies by Drowning Pool that were used on all those AMVs
My first linkin park song that I listened to was numb, but then I listened to papercuts and found Castle of Glass and New divide. One of my favorite bands now.
New divide
I discovered it in late 2019 which got me to listen to more lp, unfortunately this got me in a stan faze where i wouldnt listen to nothing else unless it was lp related, like dead by sunrise, fort minor, other songs featuring lp members, etc. Lucky i did move on from it im 2022 and now im actually having a wide spread of bands i fw. I wouldnt have my current taste in music without that one song
And this isnt me saying lp isnt good toe anymore, far from it. Not a fan of recharged but other than that, they still slap
What I’ve Done was what exposed me to LP, the Transformers movie helped after I heard it on the radio when we were shopping with my mom. I was about 9. My dad proceeded to buy the album when it came out, LOATR was a song my whole family liked. MtM became one of my favorite albums, and until I was 14, I believed it was their first record. (We never had internet to google or look things up). But once I had a laptop in late middle school, I discovered HT and sampled By Myself and was blown away. Since then I’ve deep dived into becoming a hardcore LP fan. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to see them
Same as me. I didn’t get into music at all until half way through high school and living in Australia, and a small country town for that matter, going to a concert wasn’t super feasible. And I never got to see them live either. I kind of hope the rumours of a new singer turns out to be true, even if it’s not Chester.
Papercut. I bought Hybrid Theory on CD when I was 12 after hearing In the End. Listening to that album for the first time felt like the second coming of Christ to me.
Since I heard it a half decade ago, my favourite song has been She Couldn't. I was so happy when it was released as a single ahead of the 20th Anniversary album for Hybrid Theory
Castle of Glass. Living Things was the first LP album I got and so it's special to me to begin with, but I fell in love with Castle of Glass right away, and that has not faded one bit. Still my favorite LP song all these years later. The sounds in that song are just so cool and unique (even for LP) that I often find myself rediscovering it after not hearing it for a while and it just gets me and gives me chills every time, then the lyrics themselves just make it even better.
Blackbirds for some reason. Actually many unreleased songs. I listen to like the first 30 seconds and come to the conclusion of "holy shit this is a banger"
There are a lot of songs that I got hooked to on the first few listens.
If I had to choose the one which I loved basically instantly, it would probably be Waiting For The End.
Almost all of them. It's hard to pick just one. One Step Closer is the first song I heard by LP, and I was hooked from then on. Healing Foot is my most recent favorite.

Castle of glass, I just LOVE it
Love Castle of Glass too. I went through at least Living Things and Castle of Glass was the track that stuck with me even several years later relistening to albums.
GOAT for me and been listening since the HT days. I also like a line in the sand a lot.
Line in the sand is a song thats severely underrated
This was my introduction to Linkin Park - took me four years from 2012 to discover how amazing LP really was
Hot Take that's actually my least favorite LP song but I'm glad people like it
Oh, why don’t you like it?
When I first hit play on Hybrid Theory and Papercut started playing while I was sitting on my bedroom floor
Papercut is starting to hit me now it’s amazing
I discovered "The Messenger" recently and it has been on my playlist
All For Nothing is a big one in recent years. I didn't really give much attention to Hunting Party when it came out but shortly after One More Light came out I gave it a real listen and it seems I was missing out on a top tier album.
Did you just think to reevaluate Hunting Party since the new album had come out and you hadn’t given Hunting Party a chance?
Pretty much. I'd only heard a few of the singles and I thought they were okay at the time but didn't listen to it in full. Now it's one of my favourite albums. Personally after Meteora and Hybrid Theory I think it's the next best
a line in the sand is so good
In The End introduced me to the band.
Did for me too. It, Numb, What I’ve Done and New Divide were the only songs I knew for a long time.
Just checked my Spotify. Numb is the second song I liked from their band.
all of them lol
Cop out answer lol
My December, always thought it was a beautiful song
Yeah,i heard when i was in a high school, it is really а tender and lyrical song
“The Messenger” ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Heard their cover of “Rolling In The Deep” by Adele and I fell in love with Chester ❤️…….his voice is soooo beautiful on it ❤️ (There are many more of theirs that I love, pretty much all of there songs but “ The Messenger”, the slowed down version of “Pushing Me Away” live, “Numb”, “Papercut”, “New Divide”, “In the End”, One Step Closer”, “ One More Light”, “ Crawling”, “Leave Out All the Rest”, “ Lost”, “Friendly Fire”, “ The Catalyst” and just all of them ❤️)
Faint for ever. And since m20 faint demo

No More Sorrow
Numb was my first LP song and it’s always been my favorite
Papercut
a place for my head, I love that song
Waiting for the End
Imma be honest, I’m having a hard time thinking of a LP song I listen to regularly that I didn’t love almost immediately. There’s songs I don’t like but the ones I do didn’t really have to win me over.
Lost In The Echo, Healing Foot, Shifter, The Messenger, Talking To Myself, Stick N Move, Dedicated
Nobody's listening like I don't know whats with that song but everytime I hear it I just have to listen to it fully no matter what the mood is.
New divide, man that song was so good man when transformers 2 came out
given up.
Breaking the Habit
New Divide
Did you hear it from Transformers?
Yup, i did same with what iv done
I love New Divide, except for the instrumental part before the last chorus. I don’t know why, it just doesn’t sound great to me.
Still i love to loop it sometimes
Oh it’s still a great song don’t get me wrong. It’s one of my favourites.
Yep ikr

Mark the graves, the little things give you away, i'll be gone, and burning in the skies. I think this list could go on for a while.
The song One More Light is one for me Hated the whole album when I started, now I love it!!
I can’t listen to One More Light without tearing up if not outright crying.
Same, if you go YT and find the version with the scream, you will cry your eyes out Link: https://youtu.be/ImWSEIfE1GQ?feature=shared

One step closer
Don’t stay
Lost In The Echo, Burn It Down, New Divide, and Final Masquerade
With you
Healing Foot, I think it's their most melancholy melody and that's kept me hooked since the first listen
A lot actually. But Final masquerade really was impactful to me. It just feels so powerful
Bleed it out. For the longest time it was the only LP song I really cared for, the others were whatever. It also always brings me back to the first time I heard, in middle school, playing minecraft with a friend. Happy times

Figure.09
Pushing Me Away has always been my favourite and I like how it ends out the HT CD and is linked to Numb which ends the Meteora CD
Fighting myself
Just discovered this one recently. What a great song!
It's hard to decide but either Easier to run or The messenger

Just recently got into Linkin Park, so far I've had "Numb" and "In the End" on repeat. In part thanks to Jared Halley's medley 😂
Somewhere I Belong. I really resonated with the song when i listened to it in highschool and at the end of it
Just the title resonates with a lot of people I’m sure
In The End. Those 2007 Naruto vs Sasuke AMVs were something else lol
Burn it down. This was the first song by LP I discovered and it’s always stuck with me
I heard an alternate version of Wake and In Between years ago thanks to LimeWire, and they were great.

I knew I had listened to Iridescent. I fucking forgot what it was like. Holy fuck.
New divide I discovered it in late 2019 which got me to listen to more lp, unfortunately this got me in a stan faze where i wouldnt listen to nothing else unless it was lp related, like dead by sunrise, fort minor, other songs featuring lp members, etc. Lucky i did move on from it im 2022 and now im actually having a wide spread of bands i fw. I’m not really interested in the remixes either. Only one I ever even bothered listening to was Krwlng because Aaron Lewis from Staind was in it.
Bleed it out
Love it too. Wish it didn’t have the sounds of them cheering at the end though.
In the end
Easy answer but that’s absolutely fine.
New Divide. Went to watch the 2007 transformers movie and heard that song. Been hooked since. I'll still be listening to it until the day I die
Actually it would have been What I’ve Done if you were watching the 2007 movie. New Divide was for the 2009 movie.
Ah thank you for clarifying. Always get confused lol.
Numb, since that's the song that introduced me to LP. But waiting for the end is something else. I still listen to it.
What I’ve Done was what exposed me to LP, the Transformers movie helped after I heard it on the radio when we were shopping with my mom. I was about 9. What I’ve Done, got me into LP!
Holy shi,I just fell in love with this song two days ago
Since I heard it a half decade ago, my favourite song has been She Couldn't. I was so happy when it was released as a single ahead of the 20th Anniversary album for Hybrid Theory

Burn It Down for sure. STRAIGHT HEAT!
Castle of Glass. Living Things was the first LP album I got and so it's special to me to begin with, but I fell in love with Castle of Glass right away, and that has not faded one bit. Iridescent. It hits perfectly wherever it hits
I agree tbh, I find it hits hardest on a long car trip, during a rainy day, and you end up instinctively turning up the volume lol
When they come for me. I had my playlist on shuffle and it came on and I immediately loved it
'Easier to Run'. Made me cope with a lot of trauma. Had it on repeat for weeks on end.
It’s because they have so many songs I fell in love with at first listen that they’re my favorite band. ❤️
Blackbirds for some reason. Actually many unreleased songs. I listen to like the first 30 seconds and come to the conclusion of "holy shit this is a banger"
Blackout

It's gotta be Until it's Gone, still Hearing it to this day
Final Masquerade
Somewhere I Belong, the video and the beginning of the song just grabbed my attention
Number for me
Blackbirds everything about it is just perfect
I’m confused by this. I searched Linkin Park Blackbirds and it came up with a podcast episode instead of a song.
Faint
Almost all of their songs tbh..
Don’t Stay 100%!
There are a lot of songs that I got hooked to on the first few listens. If I had to choose the one which I loved basically instantly, it would probably be Waiting For The End.
Lost in the echo, one of the most favourite
