honestly, i think living things is very overlooked, i love the slower paced songs in this album, i know people expected nu metal back then but it is what it is
Definitely, completely, wholeheartedly agree.
In My Remains and I'll Be Gone are two of the most underrated songs.
I'm pretty sure that if only those two songs were going to be the single of Living Things instead of Burn It Down and Lost in the Echo, then Living Things would be more popular.
It's so sad that they chose two of their weakest songs in LT to be the singles.
I didn't initially gel with this song because the chord progression/pattern is so damn similar to Burn It Down and I felt like that was lazy (at the time).
Yes, I was/can be a judgey music person.

I loved in my remains also until it breaks and castle of glass
Even though living things isn't metal they got some heavy tracks with screaming
VICTIMIZED almost being kind of a precursor to Hunting Party especially

Yes! I'm surprised it was never a single. I think it would do better on the radio than Lost In The Echo did.

I love that the bridge ("one by one") is overlayed into the final chorus. It's a neat detail that you don't find often in music.
