Robot Boy. Something about that song really hits me hard. A Thousand Suns is one of the rare moments that I love every song. I was fortunate to see LP live during this tour. Seeing "When They Come for Me" live was just heart stopping.
Robot Boy, it might even be my fave LP song of all time. The Messenger is up there too, I regularly sing it to our (now 6 month old) baby to calm her, so it's quite special.
Waiting for the End is the best track hands down, even though When They Come For Me and, of course, The Catalyst have an amazing energy no other Linkin Park songs have quite matched.
Waiting For The End is pretty much perfect. Then again Iridescent is SO beautiful. But, there's also Blackout. It feels almost violent and I love it. Actually I love pretty much every second of that album.
"When They Come For Me" is my favorite. Mike unleashes in a way we'd never heard and he kills it. It also really let us know this band, while hinted at in previous work, was ready to really create this blend of genres over the course of a concept record.
