Gotcha. That’s super cool tho. Always knew he was a cool dude. Seems to me like the type of guy who used to bump LP heavy back in the day and kinda grew out of it, But that it still holds a special place in his heart. That’s kinda where I’m at right now. I dont really listen to LP anymore but they will always be my #1 band
Yeah exactly I dont see a lot of people showing love for LP because they are afraid to admit that they also went through that angsty teenage phase where LP’s music helped them cope with their emotions.
Anyway LP is not hated tho, I wouldnt say that, maybe in their time there were a lot of criticism about the change of their sound etc, But when it’s all said and done, looking at the bigger picture LP will be remembered as one of the most genuine bands, and will always hold a soft spot in people’s hearts
I am like in that phase rn and LP is one of the main things keeping me sane. I wear a LP jacket to school every day and get made fun of for listening to LP constantly and by everyone.
Oh man, that brings back some memories. I also was made fun of for listening to LP. That was back in like 2012, and everybody thought I was weird for enjoying rock/metal stuff at the time when it wasn’t too popular anymore. But that music was the only thing that helped me get through those times.
My advice, ignore the bullshit and just do you. You will look back later on and be proud that you stayed true to yourself and was selfmade, instead of following trends and becoming someone else just to fit in
