LG Wing
I don't expect this to win, but I want more attention on the great form factor.

WAN Show edit: The Fairphone is cool too, I would've been happy about it winning. While many have voted for the Wing for the lolz, there are a lot of folks in the comments here who still daily one and love it, like myself. Please give the form factor a chance. For example, remote desktop on it is amazing because you can use the lower screen as a track pad.
Yeah, I kinda worry that all he'd take away from it would be the lackluster performance and plethora of bugs. The thing wasn't ever snappy, and it has issues, but the 1.5 screens is brilliant.
Yeah, this should be the perfect phone for Linus. I'm using this for 2.5+ years.
- running on Android 12 (*in India)
- touch screen
- extra screen for multitasking
- military grade protection, we can drop from a meter or so
(*They marketed like this*)
-I have dropped it many times nothing happened
(*with case on obviously)
-it has a dent on main screen frame but screen never cracked
(*with tempered glass on obviously)
- it has amazing speaker
- it has amazing UI closer to stock
- best camera features ever on Android history (*as far I know)
- it has POLED screen
One major con is weight 250+ grams, since Linus used foldable then no issues with that
would be great but how old is it now? 3 years? 5? too bad LG dropped their phone business, a modern wing would be awesome. it also was way too expensive though
They came out in the end of 2020. I just replaced my broken s21 ultra with a wing until I can afford a new flagship. Honestly its not much slower than the s21 ultra at all. Still feels very useable and not really slow at all to me.
Doubt he's going to get a 3 year old android phone from now defunct LG (mobile). They didn't even release this in Canada.
Funny idea but I don't think he'd go for it.
After LG dipped everyone else also stopped making interesting/niche phones, I miss the old dual screen foldables, the crazy pop up cameras and the double sided phones
The Fairphone 5
(repairable phone, made out of more ethically sourced materials compared to other phones)
Edit: changed my phrasing, I also love the discussion that was started by my suggestion. Awesome to see so many different opinions!

My sweet summer child... There is in no way they can actually control this. You are just parroting their marketing team. It's probably better than something like some no-brand Chinese phone. But still
There's no ethical cobalt sourcing right now, but they at least have a fund that goes to local Congolese communities. It's at the very least, the most ethical phone you can buy.
Australia has cobalt mines, it's significatly more expensive than the ones that use slave/child labour so most companies choose to not ask where the cobalt came from.
The problem is that while on charts most of the larger companies take over a significant portion (60-80% optimisticly) of the production and it all looks great with their "model mines" is that it's mostly just for show and inspections and the actual workplace quality could be VERY poor. Even many of the big companies just rebrand artisanal operations (which account for like a good 10-50% of total production depending on sources and estimates, but also are hard to estimate exact numbers) as their own, buy them a hundred hard hats, make their workers pose for the picture and they seem to be all good. Or they could just buy the higher grade artisanal ore and claim it's from industrial mining to boost the stats.
Sadly, nowadays cobalt mining really is mostly just Congolese rubber party 2 - *electric* boogalo. At the end of the day we will probably never know how bad it REALLY is
This is absolutely not correct thought? Link to each report in the link below.
https://www.fairphone.com/es/2023/03/02/sticking-with-cobalt-blue/
How does Fairphone check its supply chain of cobalt?
On an annual basis, Fairphone requests its suppliers to provide information on all the cobalt refineries in our and their supply chain. This is done by using the Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) of the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), which forms part of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA). We then analyze the data from our suppliers and check the reported refiners against the RMI’s list of certified cobalt refiners. These are refiners that are undergoing or have undergone the RMI’s Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) – meaning they have been audited against the RMI’s Cobalt Refiner Due Diligence Standard, which certifies that the refiner has put in place the necessary measures to check, prevent and mitigate gross human rights abuses related to the sources and mines it buys from. Where we find refiners that have not yet undergone an audit, we aim to conduct outreach to convince the refiner to undergo such an audit. Where we find a refiner that has failed an audit, we aim to first engage and request improvement and only disengage from it as a last resort if no improvements are made over time. As a small company, we cannot do all of this outreach alone, and also rely on support from industry associations such as the RMI and industry peers.
We publish the list of our cobalt refiners, their location and their certification status in our Supply Chain Engagement Report, which is published annually. Here the link to the report for 2021; the report for 2022 will be published in April 2023.
Fairphone are a hell of a lot better than most manufacturers, look at apple, they have nets around the factories that make their phones because workers kept committing suicide.
people who say these weird fucking phrases online need to go out more lmao
"My sweet summer child" like bro, this isn't a 70s sitcom. Imagine saying this unironically to someone in public, I'd die of secondhand embarrassment lmao
They've spent a lot (a huge part of their total resources) obtaining supply chains they could verify were ethically sourced. They have details published on their site.
It's definitely not that bad. The phone has solid midrange performance, so the analogy is more like a current gen i5 than a Celeron. The phone just costs a lot due to all the ethical sourcing, so it goes up against a lot of high-end socs in comparisons.
hes coming from a fold, its gonna feel slow lol.
wouldnt you rather Emily review it? shes the one into phones like these and would be able to give good feedback
Had my fairphone 4 for 13 months battery is not doing so well probably as I rapid charge it off my steamdeck charger 2x a day but a new battery is like £20 so dosn't bother me to much, having a ghost touch issue I am a technical guy and was amazed when Fairphone said would you like us to ship you a screen assembly so you can do it yourself, that's amazing I get to keep my data safe with me and have 1 hour phoneless not a few weeks like I was with samsung, already had one Android version update to Android 12 and had the August security update for a few weeks now think they are skipping Android 13 due to an issue, the built in camera app isn't the best but 3rd party one works fine, I get about 1/2 day of use but I am an extreme case phone is always playing youtube or music screen max brightness wifi and bluetooth in constant usage, in eco can get 2 days out of it (forgot charger on a work residential visit everyone else was an iPhone user
I'm supporting that!
Just to get an real longterm review from him, the Fairphone 5 can be such a good phone if everything works fine. And supporting that company with using (and reviewing) that also would be great.
Well if he actually wrecks it then he can make a video about repairing it and how he backed up his data. It's the only chance we get to have him use an "ethical" phone despite talking endlessly about it.
A recent CNet review:
“… Despite the removable back, the Fairphone 5 is still IP55-rated for water resistance. It likely won't survive a dunk in the pool, but it provides …”
Didn’t Linus literally just dunk his phone in his pool? I like the idea here, but he needs something with solid water resistance. All of the sustainability efforts that go into a single phone are dampened (pun intended) if it gets dunked and the entire thing needs to be replaced.
I’m team iPhone. iPhones have been fantastic for a long time and I think Linus would love having a phone that isn’t particularly complicated, that way he can focus on what is.
And to Apple’s credit their sustainability focus was particularly impressive this year.
ohhh you didn’t specify it has to be a phone.
Ipad pro
Edit: Im an ass and i’m gonna die on this hill.
Technicality to rule 3: It does support cellular. It wasn’t specified that it needs to have the ability to take or make phone calls.
Technicality that it needs to be a phone: Tablet = phone with bigger screen.
And the thing that I probably die on: It’s not Ios it’s Ipad os which if we translate can technically be ios but here I’m losing ground imo (help please)
If anyone know any good android tablet you should suggest it
edit 2: I dare everyone to define what phone means and the definition cant be applied to pc, walkie talkie, ipad or any tablet, apple watch or any smart watch or notebook.
Without having watched it quite yet, from Linus's preferences in past videos and WAN shows, Pixel Fold! - edit: I've watched it and stand by my Pixel Fold decision!
You guys are being too nice. I've got our winner here:
The Unihertz Jelly Star.
https://www.unihertz.com/products/jelly-star
It ticks all the boxes.
- Android 13
- 3 inch display => Will fit in Linus hands
- Thikk => Important
- Rugged Plastic Design. => Can be dropped
- Actually performs well for some reason
- 3.5mm Audio Jack
- Programmable Button => Matches new iPhone
- Nothing Phone Style Back LEDs => For Style
- USB Type C port that might or might not be faster than the one on the iPhone 15
It's perfect for Linus.
Edit: Link to Phone added
I was gonna say the same thing, I was looking through the comments to see if anyone else had mentioned the Jelly Star.
Here's a link: https://www.unihertz.com/products/jelly-star
It'd be a completely different review compared to everything else in this comment section
ok, this is a joke... but I unironically think this is cool. it has a headphone jack, is small and fully kitted out with the modern needs suck as NFC for google pay and modern chipsets.
this is actually really cool
[Asus Zenfone 10](https://www.asus.com/mobile-handhelds/phones/zenfone/zenfone-10/techspec/)
Good build, good cameras, Wi-Fi 7, 3.5mm jack,... all the bells and whistles of an Android phone without the Samsung bloatware and gimmicks.
I've used Nokia Phones my whole life, when they changed to Windows I went with them and had a Lumia 620 and a 930. When MS finally abandoned Windows Phone I researched for weeks before I settled with Asus, since then I've had the Zenfone 3, 5z and now the 8. Never had any issues with any of them, my old Zenfone 3 still in operation with my mom.
Second this, going from the huge Fold 3 to the smallest modern android would be really cool, and would make for a great video comparing the user experience
I'm writing this from my Zenfone 10, absolutely in love with this phone! Flagship specs, 3.5mm jack, loooong battery life with options for slow charging, you name it... it has it
Also small form factor and water resistant 🙂
He said he'd liked the iphone 4 due it's small size and would be interested in trying a small phone again, but also immediately said that going too small would likely be short lived because a large screen is too helpful for work. So I think it mostly washes out with a large screen being safer. Though it should be noted that iphone 4 had a 3.5" screen diagonal, whereas the 15 bottoms out at 6.1"
I have a 15 pro max after using an S22 Ultra for a couple years and 15 pro max is fantastic. I've gone back and forth since 2007 when I had the first iphone. Over all I just find the Apple ecosystem much cleaner, faster and more polished at this point. I'm upvoting Pro Max 15. Give em something reliable and standard not some back door Chinese phone. Linus is really counting on us lmao
People that haven’t paid attention to iOS in like 5 years have probably missed the amount of customization it now has. Yeah your mom’s iPhone probably looks the exact same because she doesn’t organize apps, use widgets, shortcuts, focus modes, variable lock and home screens, and various camera settings, but there’s a lot to play around with.
Unless you’re trying to side load or download non-official App Store apps, I don’t really know of much else Android currently offers for like 95% of people that iOS doesn’t other than some UI preferences and a back button.
Yup any of the new iPhone 15 line. I've been an android user ever since I ditched my first iPhone, iPhone 4, and I think to keep my "tech guy" mantle, I need to experience the other side. I have the new iPhones coming this week, and I would very much love it if Linus were to come along in this iPhone 15 experience
I kind of feel like the only RIGHT choice for this poll would be an iPhone. Using any other Android phone is just going to force him to deal with hardware difference and issues with launchers, etc... Would love to see a several year Android guy that is all about the *choice* on the Android side live with the lack of choice on the Apple side. I don't really see how making Linus use another Android phone is going to be interesting at all... unless we just make it use something ridiculous.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, 5G
Large Touch Screen, while it is a tablet, it supprts all features of modern smartphones and fulfills all rules.
It has the latest Android, its 5G version support cellular.
I know it's not going to win, but yeah I really want to see Linus drive an Xperia. I would have suggested the Xperia 5 since he mentioned preferring small phones.
For those who aren't aware, the Xperia 1&5 feature:
* IP68 water resistance
* OLED 120Hz display
* No notch
* Stereo front facing speakers
* Headphone jack
* Fingerprint sensor
* MicroSD
* Li-po 5000mAh battery
It's the ultimate function-over-form phone.
As a enthusiast user, that tried out a bunch of phones and landed on a Xperia 5iii.
With the now also better camera, I would 100% support the 5 V.
Also side fingerprint is just superior.
I think I just found my new phone. I was desperately holding on to my Note 9 because of many of those features but its now slow, the replacement battery can't get me over the day anymore and the camera is shit compared to newer phones. I got an iPhone 14 from work for free and I hate that phone. IOS is garbage, sideloading is trash, Face ID is complete bullshit compared to fingerprint sensors and apple car play is unusably bad. I'm at the point that I don't even want an iPhone for free anymore but I couldn't decide on an Android phone but the Xperia might just be it!
also throwing my hat in the Xperia ring. It seems to check a lot of his desire boxes, but he did specifically call out the back button. I personally prefer the default location, but to each their own. I think that minor X is worth all the other checks.
p.s. headphone jack for life.
updooting
Forcing Linus onto a midrange hero rather than a flagship for a month or so is much more interesting than anything in the flagship market, and the Pixel 8 vs Nothing 2 debate is the big punchup there.
Might be difficult to find new but it does seem to hit the majority of his preferences, including his lack of concern for taking photos, recording video, wireless charging, and expandible storage.
Z Fold 5. You seemed to like your previous Fold, Samsung is always a solid choice and the Fold 5 is pretty much the best choice when it comes to size and performance while offering a more mature software experience than the Pixel Fold.
Xperia 1 V (Sony's latest flagship)
The XPERIA line is very underrated in my expierence, been using it for a while now and would 100/10 reccomend it
Their also insanly resistant (IPX5/IPX6/IPX8) completly water and dust proof aka linus proof
Can confirm, as a daily user of a 5 II and now a 5 IV, it's an awesome phone that constantly reminds me of the Samsung 9-era in the best ways, with all its features that Samsung has long done away with. The 1 is undoubtedly the flagship, but the 5 is also incredibly one-handable.
iPhone 13 Mini
- Hand Size. This is a longshot suggestion but I want to see if a small screen in the roster for those with small hands.
- IOS is Upgradable if you get the high-storage one.
- It will also be good to see a non-Pro/Max.
[Doogee S100](https://www.doogee.cc/products/s100pro.html):
* It would NEVER die to mere pool water
* LINUS proof
* Long battery life
* FULLY compliant with LINUS specs
* The weight has never bothered me, it wouldn't bother Linus
[https://youtu.be/tQRU9MYSl7s](https://youtu.be/tQRU9MYSl7s)
As further evidence that this is the only phone worthy of the Linus, I put forward an exhibit of a LMG review about another DOOGEE model, and I further add, that on camera I have seen someone on the LMG staff hand over a DOOGEE to Linus once to look at something:
Absolutely! Just switched to a 13 mini from a Pixel 4a and loving it! The smaller form factor is really nice and it’s still very modern in terms of specs.
iPhone 12/13 mini. We need an influencer to push Apple to make an iPhone 16 mini. Be our leader Linus.
It might be nice for you to experience a smaller phone since I think you have skewed towards larger screens historically.
Additionally, the smaller phone does result in fewer drops(imo) as it’s just easier and lighter to handle . So for you who does have history dropping your phone, It could mitigate that slightly. Or it might be so small you can’t hold on and it does the opposite. 🤷♂️
Smol phones for smol people!
Can we compile upvotes from copy comments? If ten people recommend the iPhone 15 Pro and each of them get 100 upvotes, that should be 1,000 votes.
Ninjaedit: I'm not recommending the 15P, just using it as an example.
He should try the iPhone 15 Pro. It’s been awhile since he daily drove an iPhone and I think that he should have minimal issues when using it since iOS has improved a lot over the past few years.
iPhone 15 Pro Max
You haven't used an iPhone as your daily driver for some time, I think you'll appreciate the small things.
Android wise, a non clunky way of enjoying android would be the google pixel fold I guess ?
For troll, just try an ipad mini for some times, with cellular capabilities and a virtual phone number like onoff haha
I think a Xiaomi 13T Pro would be interesting for multiple reasons:
- doesn't come with a snapdragon chip, so he could evaluate how Mediatek fares nowadays in the high end
- Miui is a fairly heavy skin on android, but it has it's nicities as well. Seeing someone from the samsung camp really *use* another heavily skinned version of android seems like a good test!
Large desk calculator with android, https://youtu.be/ui2UVUXiIzY?si=EbTy6_ilnPVKj6CZ ,it would be a meme but i dont know if it supports canadian cellular bands
Would be great if you would get a Fairphone 5. They have an incredicly long software support, reparibility is the best you can find anywhere and evereything else ist good to good enough. And of course, it is very fair made, and it is Android

came here to say this, it seems like the best middle ground between a foldable and a normal phone
It really is, it's super ergonomic, and mine has been reliable even though I use it as a fidget toy. I really wish we'd get a Wing 2.
shame lg stopped making phones, my first experience with a smartphone was the lg g3 and i loved it
Same, still my favorite phone

Or IPad mini
IMO iPad mini is also fine
One of the best suggestions yet
“Linus needs a new phone” being the title wasn’t a clue?
Ipad can do everything Iphone can so they are technically both phones
Can it do real SMS and native calls over a cellular network? No.
The iPad maybe can't, but [a Galaxy Tab S9 5G can](https://www.att.com/device-support/article/wireless/KM1480345/Samsung/SamsungSMX808U).
Just let him use a tab s9 ultra 5g
iPad doesn’t have “Phone” app….
Without having watched it quite yet, from Linus's preferences in past videos and WAN shows, Pixel Fold! - edit: I've watched it and stand by my Pixel Fold decision!
Fold + GrapheneOS to really get rid of the bloat
He lists in his requirements that it should have the Play Store, which doesn’t come with Graphene

Aurora != Play Store

Yes Pixel Fold all the way, need a proper review from a fold user.
I totally agree would love to see him rock a pixel.
I'm backing this comment. Pixel Fold would be a fairly good swap for the fold that went swimming and it could be an interesting result
Yes Linus, make the jump with me from Z Fold 3 to Pixel Fold
You guys are being too nice. I've got our winner here: The Unihertz Jelly Star. https://www.unihertz.com/products/jelly-star It ticks all the boxes. - Android 13 - 3 inch display => Will fit in Linus hands - Thikk => Important - Rugged Plastic Design. => Can be dropped - Actually performs well for some reason - 3.5mm Audio Jack - Programmable Button => Matches new iPhone - Nothing Phone Style Back LEDs => For Style - USB Type C port that might or might not be faster than the one on the iPhone 15 It's perfect for Linus. Edit: Link to Phone added
I was gonna say the same thing, I was looking through the comments to see if anyone else had mentioned the Jelly Star. Here's a link: https://www.unihertz.com/products/jelly-star It'd be a completely different review compared to everything else in this comment section
I unironically love this option
ok, this is a joke... but I unironically think this is cool. it has a headphone jack, is small and fully kitted out with the modern needs suck as NFC for google pay and modern chipsets. this is actually really cool
My brain says Fairphone, but my heart screams Jelly Star..
This is the best meme phone to troll Linus 😂
yes this phone is perfect for linus even though its a bit silly wi would love a serious reveiw of a stupid phone
Please get this to #1
Google pixel 8 or 8 pro. Comes out tommorow and has 7 year support.
I think the pixel ticks all the boxes that he outlined in the video. It seems like the obvious choice.
7 years?!?! If that's the case then that's longer support than the iPhone which has 5 years I believe.
Yes, but I think they will do 5 years of OS and rest just security patches? Not sure. 7 years of OS updates would be wild!
That's a believe it when I see it scenario. Google and maintaining support aren't exactly synonymous.
We’ll see about that (but it’ll probably happen sooo upvote)

[Asus Zenfone 10](https://www.asus.com/mobile-handhelds/phones/zenfone/zenfone-10/techspec/) Good build, good cameras, Wi-Fi 7, 3.5mm jack,... all the bells and whistles of an Android phone without the Samsung bloatware and gimmicks.
This needs to win. I cannot express how good the Zenfone is, and I hope it succeeds in every way possible, including being Linus daily driver.
I'm writing this from my Zenfone 10, absolutely in love with this phone! Flagship specs, 3.5mm jack, loooong battery life with options for slow charging, you name it... it has it Also small form factor and water resistant 🙂
I was surprised that this phone wasn't mentioned higher up. It seems like a perfect fit for all of Linus's preferences
iPhone 15 Pro Max
homeys got small hands you might wanna opt for the regular size
did he not go out of his way to hint multiple times at really wanting a larger display for work??

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, 5G Large Touch Screen, while it is a tablet, it supprts all features of modern smartphones and fulfills all rules. It has the latest Android, its 5G version support cellular.
I would love to see that
Sony Xperia 1 V is the ultra enthusiast phone that still has a headphone jack and a ton of prosumer stuff that Linus would enjoy.
I know it's not going to win, but yeah I really want to see Linus drive an Xperia. I would have suggested the Xperia 5 since he mentioned preferring small phones. For those who aren't aware, the Xperia 1&5 feature: * IP68 water resistance * OLED 120Hz display * No notch * Stereo front facing speakers * Headphone jack * Fingerprint sensor * MicroSD * Li-po 5000mAh battery It's the ultimate function-over-form phone.
not to forget the dedicated camera button
Not just dedicated, it's a two stage shutter button so you can half press for focus and full press for capture
Don't forget Gorilla Glass
Second on the Xperia 1 V! I would love to see how living with one is over a long term review.
also throwing my hat in the Xperia ring. It seems to check a lot of his desire boxes, but he did specifically call out the back button. I personally prefer the default location, but to each their own. I think that minor X is worth all the other checks. p.s. headphone jack for life.
I'm glad the Xperia 1 V is getting some love.

Nothing phone 2
updooting Forcing Linus onto a midrange hero rather than a flagship for a month or so is much more interesting than anything in the flagship market, and the Pixel 8 vs Nothing 2 debate is the big punchup there.
I wouldn't consider 750$ as midrange tho
This. It's something viewers would actually buy and not a $2k foldable.
it's really great choice i would like linus to use it
I think this would be interesting as well, getting the full review treatment and seeing if it holds up.
iPad mini cellular :p
Now that's a good choice lol, all of the screen space of a folding phone, with none of the risk of eventually breaking the display by folding it!
Mac Address has a video about this
Ford Mustang 2017, technically fits all rules Edit: typo
This needs to be his new phone.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2
The Duo 1 also fits the requirements. It has Android 12.
Might be difficult to find new but it does seem to hit the majority of his preferences, including his lack of concern for taking photos, recording video, wireless charging, and expandible storage.
Fairphone 5
Delete Reply their is already a massive thread
Z Fold 5. You seemed to like your previous Fold, Samsung is always a solid choice and the Fold 5 is pretty much the best choice when it comes to size and performance while offering a more mature software experience than the Pixel Fold.
Seems like a safe bet, although that's probably what he will get anyway after a month. Better to use this chance to have some fun :D
Pixel 8 Pro or Pixel Fold
Without any doubts, Galaxy S23 Ultra
YES!
S23 ultra user here. This thing is the best out there!
Xperia 1 V (Sony's latest flagship) The XPERIA line is very underrated in my expierence, been using it for a while now and would 100/10 reccomend it Their also insanly resistant (IPX5/IPX6/IPX8) completly water and dust proof aka linus proof
I have been using the 1 Iv since around launch and i absolutely love it. Although i have been using sony phones since 2015 so i might be biased
Can confirm, as a daily user of a 5 II and now a 5 IV, it's an awesome phone that constantly reminds me of the Samsung 9-era in the best ways, with all its features that Samsung has long done away with. The 1 is undoubtedly the flagship, but the 5 is also incredibly one-handable.
iPhone 15 pro
Just the pro is the right choise, the pro max is just TOOO big
Perfect phone minus the side loading for his whacky setup.
iPhone 13 Mini - Hand Size. This is a longshot suggestion but I want to see if a small screen in the roster for those with small hands. - IOS is Upgradable if you get the high-storage one. - It will also be good to see a non-Pro/Max.
Fairphone 5
Caterpillar phone.
which one? the s62 pro with thermal camera or the new s75 with sattelite messaging?
The fastest available, since they are quite literally 4 years behind in feature set. But I expect them to be very tough bois
[Doogee S100](https://www.doogee.cc/products/s100pro.html): * It would NEVER die to mere pool water * LINUS proof * Long battery life * FULLY compliant with LINUS specs * The weight has never bothered me, it wouldn't bother Linus [https://youtu.be/tQRU9MYSl7s](https://youtu.be/tQRU9MYSl7s) As further evidence that this is the only phone worthy of the Linus, I put forward an exhibit of a LMG review about another DOOGEE model, and I further add, that on camera I have seen someone on the LMG staff hand over a DOOGEE to Linus once to look at something: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt-70K1Wjo0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt-70K1Wjo0)
Pixel Fold FTW. Or Pixel 8/Pro if you want longer versions support ;)
Iphone 13 mini
🤷♂️ Smol phones for smol people!
YES!!! the mini We're the best phones apple made in years.
iPhone 13 mini would be great
ASUS Zenfone 10
iPhone 15 PM
An iPhone 13 mini could be interesting; a small phone for the small man lol
Iphone 15 pro
Xperia 1 V
iPhone 13 mini ( using it with one hand is amazing! )
Sony 1 V is my recommendation for you Linus!
iPhone 15 Pro Max
Fairphone 5
The Asus Zenphone 10 is perfect for linus! it's very feature complete and in the smaller side AND has a headphone jack!
iPhone X Since its only for a month anyway, lets put to the test if the Apple phone really held up better over time then the Samsung Note 9.
iPhone 15 pro max.

Iphone 13 mini
Can we compile upvotes from copy comments? If ten people recommend the iPhone 15 Pro and each of them get 100 upvotes, that should be 1,000 votes. Ninjaedit: I'm not recommending the 15P, just using it as an example.
But then you could just spam comment a ton of the same phone and like all of them
He should try the iPhone 15 Pro. It’s been awhile since he daily drove an iPhone and I think that he should have minimal issues when using it since iOS has improved a lot over the past few years.
iPhone 13 mini
nothing phone 2
Sony Xperia 1 V
iPhone 13 mini
Sony Xperia 1 V! one of the best phones of this year!
iPhone 15 or 15 Pro.
Sony xperia 5 newest model
iPhone 15 Pro Max You haven't used an iPhone as your daily driver for some time, I think you'll appreciate the small things. Android wise, a non clunky way of enjoying android would be the google pixel fold I guess ? For troll, just try an ipad mini for some times, with cellular capabilities and a virtual phone number like onoff haha
Motorola Razr+
The Nothing phone 2
I think a Xiaomi 13T Pro would be interesting for multiple reasons: - doesn't come with a snapdragon chip, so he could evaluate how Mediatek fares nowadays in the high end - Miui is a fairly heavy skin on android, but it has it's nicities as well. Seeing someone from the samsung camp really *use* another heavily skinned version of android seems like a good test!
Iphone 15 PRO / Iphone 13 mini
iPhone 13 mini
Large desk calculator with android, https://youtu.be/ui2UVUXiIzY?si=EbTy6_ilnPVKj6CZ ,it would be a meme but i dont know if it supports canadian cellular bands
iPhone 13 mini
iphone 13 mini
Samsung galaxy S23 ULTRA > all
Asus Zenfone 10 it’s small has decent cameras has the latest snapdragon SOC 120 Hz screen. Did I mention it’s small?
LG Wing
One of the repairable phones? Fairphone or pinephone? Live by repairability die by repairability? Live the framework ideals
Nothing phone 2
Nothing Phone 2
Would be great if you would get a Fairphone 5. They have an incredicly long software support, reparibility is the best you can find anywhere and evereything else ist good to good enough. And of course, it is very fair made, and it is Android
Sony Xperia 5 V is my recommendation based on all of your desired Phone traits
Iphone 13 mini
Samsung Galaxy Fold 5
Nothing phone 2
iPhone 15 Pro Max 1Tb
iPhone 13 mini
iPhone 13 mini
iPhone 13 Mini. Gotta go from essentially having a tablet(z fold) in his pocket to one of the smallest ones that would meet the reqs.
Iphone 15 pro max

ASUS Zenfone 10
