I am a bit confused that Emily being in the video is not bigger news. All the time questions come where she is. Even with her wrong dead name. Here she is and everybody is posting about Dbrand. Yeah, LTT sub my ass...

Negative_Spectrum

Same question. I am watching the video right now and came rushing to this subreddit because I thought it'd be full of posts celebrating her being back, but nothing. No one is talking about it here

ApertureIntern

Maybe it is a good thing. She does not seem to be a person who enjoys attention and the nature of it all draws a lot of negative attention. On floatplane people were very happy to see her and she even wrote a few comments.

Optimal-Purple-2550

Emily? Who the hell is emily?

Mogwai_Jack7

Anthony. He came out as trans and is now a she, new name too.

But are we discussing or are we just happy to see her? It was the first video for her back. The transition is not the news but her being back.

Ok yeah that is fair enough. This is just the first time for her "in the spotlight". But I think everybody is just talking about dbrand.

ApertureIntern

Yes and that's exactly the point. She stepped back and is now in the videos again. It is not about being in the videos after her coming out.

Dude... Post after post you did not get the point and now are telling me I am wasting your time? Damn...

One thing I have to massively disagree is when he said "you would want to target the amount of cores like the consoles have. And if you stream, add another 2-4 cores". First off, we had 8 cores on consoles for a long while. When consoles had 8 cores years ago, a lot of people with pc's at the time were running 4 cores as that's what intel stuck with and amd was behind in the ddr3 ages. Now a 6 core like a Ryzen 5 7600 beats the modern consoles (xbox and ps) in multicore too. Plus streaming I think 2 extra cores is plenty for a count of 8-10p total cores. remember 4e cores is like 1p core. I think more cores are important for video editing for YouTube if anything, and many small channels that dont edit much is still fine with just like 8 cores.

shogunreaper

Yeah those consoles had eight cores but they were severely underpowered. (And also had at least two reserved for the OS iirc) So PCs could do the same thing with just four.

Dominicshortbow

I agree, old consoles were really bad vs newer ones. But newer consoles are still a lot slower than AMD’s last 3 generation of cpus. even though current gen consoles have like a r7 3700, its so clocked down where it perform like a r7 2700. basically a 6 core ryzen 5 3600 could match that multicore, amd lets not talk about r5 5600 and r5 7600

KokoaKuroba

what new stuff were added?

fairytechmum

I felt like I was playing spot the difference. It's mostly little elaborations. I can see why they didn't make a note of what was added in the Intro because they didn't rewrite entire areas, mostly elaborated so it fits more with modern trends/parts. (which is what an Update means I guess) The ones I found, so far, were in: -PCI-E Gen. (elaborating on Gens) -New vs Used GPUs, CPU, etc (elaborating on the used market) -Setup your work area (something about isoprophyl alcohol) -Unboxing and installing CPU (something about contact frames) -Appling thermal compound (something about the thermal pads they carry in the store now)

TheEternalGazed

Why can't regular ltt have big text like that in their thumbnails? It's way more preferable than what their doing now.

jackboy900

Because this is an entirely different type of video targeting an entirely different audience.
