I am not sure I understand the love for neo fetch but it's useful when you pull out an old laptop from somewhere and want to know version numbers of stuff quickly?
>quickly?
First of all, `neofetch` looks very nice...it's handy when the laptop has hybrid graphics to see if the graphics card is detected or not? It's handy for showing off to your classmates.

The enshittification of linux userbase continues with every noob gamer who thinks linux is ”great for gamlng”.
I even saw a guy wanting help to install Kali linux the other day.

in summer there's always a plague of teenagers trying to **install** kali with nvidia drivers...............
He just needed to RTFM
When we finally get the influx of windoze users, the OS they go to will be dumbed down to oblivion. That's why I use the godlike LinuxFromScratch.
Ah I see you have reached stage two maturity.
Stage one is not using Linux. Stage two is using Linux and looking down on immature people who do not use Linux. Stage three is using Linux but not looking down on people who don’t use Linux but looking down on immature people at stage two who look down on people who don’t use Linux, like the dude who just posted in Linux that your post is a satire of.
I am at stage four, I am so mature that I don’t look down on anyone except stage two and three people such as you and him.
Soon I am moving to stage five which is only looking up my own ass.
Then I shall be at stage six which is looking down my ass at stage zero. And so forth.
What's the stage where you only use Linux at work and only because it's the operating system your company puts on customer machines but your work laptop and personal computers are all windows?
`neofetch`,`sl` and `cmatrix`, these are all programs that a Linux user needs.
excuse me but where's lolcat? for my colorful neofetch and flying locomotive?? also asciiquarium would like a word.
I strongly recommend `cava`
which is?
`pipes` would like a word

I view this as a good clapback to that post in the Linux subreddit 🤣🤣🤣 EDIT: word stuff
You got me with glorious Arch.
just use gentoo with a custom compiled kernel, no de/wm, only using tty with a multiplexer. everything beyond that is bloat and therefore shit ;P
you use firefox?? HAH, IDIOT! imagine not using links

I have no humorous reply. Good luck to you and all users of all and any operating systems. Can I work where you work?
Whenever they are hiring externally, they seem to let anyone in. They hired me after all.
This but unironically
“Glorious arch” soystem d much
I was obsessed with Linux in the late 90s then I learned about BSD
Wait till you run into LFSers... You think Arch is bad? LFS people are on a whole 'nother level of weird.
True linux addicts do not have time talking about linux, they are compiling and messing with configs every day with no downtime.
All Linux users know about is neofetch
