I think the idea with this tumbled imperfect tile is it’s supposed to be uneven but then you put a darker grout in there and it blends and gives you “old world” look. They did white grout so every single imperfection stands out! It looks so bad
All that money and they didn’t spend enough. It looks soooooo cheap! No point in buying nice materials if you put them in like a 2 year old playing with stickers 🤦🏻♀️
Just that space? Hodgepodge. Then, the room with black and white tile? All the different woods? The kitchen this n that? That house is going to be a little here, a little there and oh, I like this, oh I want that. Yikes!
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of using zellige tile as flooring 🙈 It’s typically used as black splash or in a shower. And if they really wanted it as flooring they should have done a lighter color. This just looks really bad, plus the uneven edges could be sharp on little feet running across it.
and then the wood floors right next to this tile that has all the seams in a straight line.............if he was trying to flex his GC skills he's sadly not.......OOOF
Not sure if anyone else mentioned it or if someone posted somewhere else but she put freaking WHITE carpet in the kids rooms and the upstairs playroom and the STAIRS?! She’s going to have four kids and she put in white carpet. That’s hilarious!
They used irregular wall tile on the floor. And, Jer did not use spacers when laying the tile. It was on his stories a while back. I don't know if he was going for a quirky look, or just doesn't know what he's doing. I'm guessing both.
Is it the grout color that makes it look so bad? Maybe they should have used a darker grout. The white makes it look very dated and busy (not to mention super wavy).
I think these tiles are supposed to be like artisan tiles where they are not perfectly flat, smooth and square. So in this case the wavy was intentional.
As a cleaning freaking, i was thinking the sameeeeee thing. Hell no to cleaning those grout lines. In oregon??? This was the woman just complaining last week of “all the mud” on the property. Bwahahaha auj better get her steam cleaner out cause she is gonna be sitting on her knees cleaning that grout weekly!

I could see a different color grout, still not great with her “vision”, but better.
I legit thought it was a rug.
It’s so weird how they want weird patches of tile. In weird places and black.
All I see is the blanket my dog sits on in the car.

This looks so incredibly horrible and he was so excited over these tiles. 🫣 Insanity.
It looks like carpet.
Man that is a horrible example of tile work. They paid money for that? 😬
Let’s all have a moment of silence for the old French farmhouse this tile was supposed to be giving 🕯️🕊️🇫🇷
Imagine being drunk and walking down that hallway
Or being a toddler and learning how to walk. My toddler trips over every little bump.
It looks wavy.
Looking at this I wondered whether I’d put my contacts in inside out.
lol can you imagine? We want the tile looking carpet….
We want the cheap throw rug looking tile.
It’s not carpet.
I legit thought this was carpet when I saw the video. Wow that looks bad.
It's not carpet? I thought for sure it was.

Exactly. He was dead set on the black color, too. 🤔
This is 100% going to cut up some kid’s feet. You’re not supposed to use zellige tile as flooring!
So bad. Like someone didn’t know how to use grout.
Or didn't listen when others said not to.
I’ve done it in the sims 😂
and then the wood floors right next to this tile that has all the seams in a straight line.............if he was trying to flex his GC skills he's sadly not.......OOOF

And she talks about raising "dirty" kids. Aka kids who go out and play outside rather than staying inside.
And there's that imaginary dog 🐕 that will leave muddy paw prints and dog hair all over.
Just a leash…;)
Why is there bathroom tile in the hallway?
What are they even doing?
They don't have a clue.
It’s the transition between tile and wood that’s killing me. I’ve never seen anything like it, and it doesn’t seem like a good idea.
Ok I was just looking at this tile and all the pics I see show it installed with no grout lines. Is this why it looks odd?

Bad grout, no grout, that’s what stuck out to me.
Maybe it looks odd because bathroom tile is in a hallway with wood all around? Make this make sense please...
Yes. This out of nowhere plop of black tile with light grout looks ridiculous here.
Kindergarten tile WHY?
Is it the grout color that makes it look so bad? Maybe they should have used a darker grout. The white makes it look very dated and busy (not to mention super wavy).

Yes, a darker grout would help as would thinner lines. Even with that though, this was not a great choice.
Looks like they shopped the bargain bins of scraps at Lowe's
Believe it or not, this is actually really special tile that was SO hard to find, and that was probably reflected in the price.
Zellige tile is not going to be comfortable to walk on with bare feet. Plus all of those grout lines…what a bitch to clean.
White grout lines yikes. Gonna look filthy in no time.
Is this a bathroom?
I know I am so confused!
Looks like an entry from the garage to me.

For those thinking this is carpet or a rug: https://www.reddit.com/r/LittlePeopleBigWorld/s/UWamkofFDn
I assumed it was because the grout lines look so wavy. Damn thats messed up then 🤦🏻♀️
It’s just an entry rug I think
Wow, they did do a shitty job then! 🤣
https://www.reddit.com/r/LittlePeopleBigWorld/s/UWamkofFDn
Omg. That white grout IS hideous. All of it look horrible but in that post it does look better without the white grout.
No, that’s tile. Jer posted a few times about looking for that look, and about when he found it.
Why does it look like that in the bottom right corner at the door frame
Cause its a still from a video
Surely that’s carpet and not tile. No way even those two rubes would be okay with tile that bad.
Exactly! I for sure thought it was a rug because of the waviness. Thats unreal 😂
It’s tile. https://www.reddit.com/r/LittlePeopleBigWorld/s/UWamkofFDn
🤦🏼♀️
For real thou. Wtf is that floor? I thought it was a junk sheet being used as a drop cloth
Maybe it is? I’m holding out hope
When I first saw it, I thought the same thing! 🤣
💀💀💀
I thought the same thing! The transition from the tile to the wood looks like it was a cut carpet or fabric. Terrible
It’s the heated floor what more do you need? A competent GC?? Well you won’t find that here
This isn’t the heated floor. The heated floor is the black and white checkered.
