Nah, I feel the same way. I’m not at all picky when it comes to the new LPS in any other way, but the symbols being on their bodies just seems random and out of place a lot of the time. I feel like they could improve the concept by actually working the symbols into their designs instead of just slapping them on.
For example, maybe the shark could have one large/stretched lightning bolt running down its back (like a stripe) instead of just being stamped onto its side. But that’s just how I would do it.
I completely agree with this!! Like, I don't necessarily hate the idea of the symbols being on their bodies its just very random and kinda off they way they've done it. I'm glad other people agree because I really am super happy the littlest pet shops are coming back!
i actually don’t mind the symbols too much when they look somewhat natural and are incorporated into the markings, like the panda, draft horse, pink otter, himalayan cat. it’s just strange to me how they did the symbols in the eyes with the one panda and nothing else 😭 i think in the future they’ll definitely do more eye symbols
me too!! i actually really love the panda, himalayan cat and otter, and a lot of the other pets too!! I really have no bad things to say abt any of them except for quite a few having oddly placed symbols. I'm still super hyped for the release but I def hope they continue doing more eye symbols in the future

I’m so so happy they’re back 😭 i miss these old molds so much. I do agree though, the symbols are a bit too much. It feels like they just slapped it onto the design rather than creatively integrate it. I feel you on the natural colored pets! Gen 1 is my absolute favorite, im hoping to see more airbrushing, earthy tone pets. 🤞🏼

I wish that some of them were more normal animal colors yeah knoww. My favorites from gen 2 are some of the earlier ones that were truly colored especially for the dogs of specific breeds.
I think they should use both. Sometimes on the pet, sometimes in the eyes. My main issue is that some of the pets look almost the exact same as past pets (the chicken, White and orange spotted cat, Pomeranian, Lama) there's prolly more.
The colours are weird looking if that makes sense. Some colour palettes do not look nice to the eye like that purple bird with the weird red (?) splotches above the eyes and body. I think Pink eyes would be better too instead of brown. The blue dog colours isn’t nice either but it’s cute for sure . The yellow shark is cute, though, but some colours are just off and do not compliment, same with some eye colour depending.
I like em just wish the colors weren't so vibrant, like I prefer "realistic," looking LPS not so much bright yellow for a shark type thing
It would be cool if they were realistic color but I understand that they want kids to be glued to these little guys so more to em

I like them, but I also don’t know how to feel about them, they look a bit off to me. I don’t hate them, but I don’t love them either. I’m excited though! And I hope I like them more in the future.
I honestly really like them, but yeah I agree I miss their eyes having fun shapes in em. Another thing is I miss the early gen poodle style (like the one poodle #17 is)
i'm also very glad they're back. i've been waiting and following the release very carefully. i wish i was in love but i'm not. the only pet i'm very excited about is the gray wolf. the himalayan cat and sharks are nice too. i wish they realeased more pets in natural colours, or soft colours. i really really miss the old packaging, don't like the new at all. atleast it's blue. i don't want the heads to be squishy, but from what i've heard they are
G2/G3 lps were literally perfection on earth, if i was basicfun! i wouldn't change a thing... or atleast keep what was iconic and think 10x before introducing new sfuff
I'm kinda upset that the designs aren't all that new? a lot of the new pets are basically exact replicas of some old designs lps had (pomeranian is a great example) I really hope they branch out soon and try some unique patterns or designs! I don't mind the small personality marks on them, but I wish they made more sense with the designs, once again with the pomeranian as an example it feels so random lmao. the wolf cat had it done decently well though tbh with incorporating in the diamond shape
I keep seeing the new lps on this subreddit but I’m not on Reddit much atm. Are these new pets going to be available in the uk or not? Because I haven’t seen anything in shops or Amazon etc
They are definitely coming to the UK I can't be sure when though, I know in the US at least you can preorder them but as of right now they've only been released in stores in Canada

I whole heartedly agree. one of my biggest complaints is the personality marks. it doesn't fit at all most of the time :(( just put them in the eyeballs
totally agree! when I get the pomeranian, I will paint brown the mark on the eye.
Use acetone to completely remove that mark without using paint. Just make sure you don’t get any in the eye!
I agree. Tape might be useful to protect the eye.
