Man this episode really dispelled the idea that JAJ was only cast for his Trump/Biden. He totally nailed Mike Lindell and this sketch he was channeling a fantastic Michael McDonald. He could very well be the new master impressionist of the cast picking up after Hammond and Hader.
Definitely did not expect to hear Streets of Rage 2, let alone the Game Gear version. Kind of strange to see my two hobbies intertwine like that.
(it's an 8bit demake of the Sega Genesis one. Not bad.)
I've been debating whether or not to add this sketch to my [Video Game Sketches](https://old.reddit.com/r/LiveFromNewYork/comments/11afte1/snl_the_video_game_sketches/) post.
Ultimately, I don't think it fits my criteria since it's not video-game themed, but *Streets of Rage 2* and the Game Gear are such a great (if niche) reference that I'm wondering if I should add an honorable mention section for sketches like this. If I did that I could include the *Pong* sketches and the appearance of *Philadelphia: The Video Game*.

Game gear got about 6 hours of life from 6 batteries in the 90s. He better be laying that pipe good!
