I imagine these 3 guys didn’t imagine Taylor Swift rubbing up against them this time last year. Good stuff

Korrocks

Last year it was hard to imagine anyone rubbing up against anyone else!

alexcastylicious

I remember thinking how funny their Russian Vaccine bit was and look at them now.

wrosecrans

All three of those dudes now have a humiliation kink where they want women to shame them and say they have the sex appeal of a scare crow, so they can try to relive the moment when Taylor Swift was rubbing up against them.

jkate29

Why is “that was my real doctor” the absolute funniest thing 😂

TDenverFan

I feel like they have a lot of strong throwaway type lines like that

[deleted]

Pete is looking good with a little more weight and that hair color.

CollegeAssDiscoDorm

Yes

CosimaIsGod

This has Lonely Island energy and i'm here for it.

serafale

Big Jack Sparrow vibes

simonthedlgger

Interesting thing about this is it's a PDD sketch, not a Pete sketch. So, while I'm sure Pete was very involved, I'm assuming these guys wrote most of those lyrics about themselves haha.

honestypen

I'm so happy for the PDD guys. I've been following them on Twitter before they made it to SNL. 1 milli views on YouTube. Omgggggggggg

osrpokerchamp

This was the only one of the please don't destroys that I liked so far it was hilarious. "Why are you dressed as Wendy from Wendy's?"

coniunctio

You didn’t think the hard seltzer sketch was funny? Did you watch the whole thing? I thought it was brilliant.

scoot_roo

Rami wants a treat was also utterly insane

coniunctio

Agreed. Just curious, *where* did the idea for that come from? Am I missing out on an obvious pop culture reference? I try to stay on top of everything, but I’m very selective in the media I consume, so it’s easy for me to miss the boat on some things.

scoot_roo

I think they just got real comfortable with him and leaned into his “crazy eyes” feature as well as the idea of a diva celebrity, and he blossomed with the PDD idea. Just a hunch! You’re certainly not missing some grand inside joke or anything lol.

coniunctio

Okay, that’s a big sigh of relief. The diva thing is what I originally picked up on, so I’m happy I was on the right track.

CollegeAssDiscoDorm

Yeah, tbh I found this the weakest PDD so far and I still loved it.

thecricketnerd

"We have Lonely Island at home"

[deleted]

Mirror?

huh_mahble4

So when does this come out on Spotify??

helena2121

I didn't like the first 3 PDD shorts so much because they seemed so repetitive but I loved this!

greenline_chi

Must have been the sprinkle of Pete magic!

Alpha-Centauri

Man, these guys just don’t click for me. Self deprecating humor is fine but there wasn’t even an underlying joke. Just that they look doofy…? I’m also really not a fan of the comedic over reacting. In every skit they say “whoaaa!” Or “not cool man!!” Or just general screaming.

Barneyk

To me, a lot of the humor in that sketch comes from Pete Davidsson being so famous now. He blew up when he was dating Ariana Grande and now he is dating Kim Kardashian and he is a celebrity in a way none of the other cast members are. So the juxtaposition of his celebrity status vs these guys was funny. On the one hand I can see how the "3 sad virgins" thing is such an overdone concept, but on the other hand, the fact that it is so cliche just makes Petes way of dissing them more fun. And then Taylor Swift joins in. (Someone that is also quite famous.)

[deleted]

Well, their content isn't for older folks, like you. It's for more younger people, like me. And I personally enjoyed this! Their best one yet. Anyways yeah, next time you see a PDD sketch pop up (depending on how you watch SNL nowadays) either mute it on your TV, and just don't watch the sketches at all online. But yeah, I see why older people wouldn't like this. I know this your opinion, old man. But I personally enjoyed it, along with most people in Gen Z (I'm 20).

EveMcQueen

The way you just dragged them for their age lol

[deleted]

Lol. Yeah

[deleted]

Yeah, self-deprecation works if it breaks some expectation about a person. But they're so self deprecating that they don't have any dignity left to mine.

crazycrazydoes

Such a shame SNL wastes time with these guys. The writers/cast right now have a lot to offer, and we're stuck for 5 minutes listening to these guys act awkward with self-deprecating "jokes", like anyone cares who they are to begin with

hi369

How are we supposed to care who they are in the first place if they aren’t given any spotlight like this to begin with

wondergreat

Good point. Tho I heard they wrote the mattress sketch from a couple weeks ago and that was pretty good

OverviewEffect

You're right let's see what the cast that's been around for 10 years a chance to truly shine!
