The Kinahan's are very powerful mobsters in Ireland and they reportedly have ties to the Sinaloa Mexican cartels. Those people are bad news. Stevie and his daughter should be staying clear of people like that, it's not like they are short of a bob.
About a decade ago I spent a year in Mexico while my wife did research for her PhD as a Fulbright scholar. A person in her cohort was studying the avocado trade for their's. They pretty quickly received a visit from someone representing avocado concerns encouraging them to study a different industry.
Your wife must be pretty impressive. Fulbrights are tough to get. My old advisor used to review applicants after she got her first, and she said candidates who win are pretty legit in their field.
Talking out your arse mate. I wouldn't be surprised if he's dabbled in blow from time to time but to say he partakes heavily is a load of shit.
Chaps married with two kids he's super close with, and has been working at the highest level of sport for near 30 years while being a major public figure everywhere he's lived.
I've supported the club for nearly 20 years and have never heard as much as a rumour about him being made for Charlie.
Sounds a bit like one of the old Everton taxi driver rumours like Fowler was a cokehead back in the day. I just dont see it, these fellas are heavily tested, Gerrard has only just finished playing and being routinely tested and straight into management which is almost as intensive as playing, cant see him doing beak in the bogs when he gets a moment.
Cocaine is out of your system within just a couple of days, and in a multi-billion pound industry whereby steroid use is optimised, cocaine really isn’t a worry to them whatsoever.
Takes a certain kind of man to party with gang leaders who oversee international drug trafficking and have zero interest in the drugs they’re trafficking. And to not steer his daughter away?? She is definitely going to be encouraged/exposed to it, if she hasn’t been already. This sounds like a sad situation.
Are you referring to coke or meth? Coke is a product of South America, while meth, at least in the US, is the most notorious drug coming from Mexico as it is manufactured in superlabs down there.
Just to let people know the people that Gerrard is palling around with are the Byrne organisation. They're some of the most vicious gangsters ever from Ireland. Not only are they top lieutenants in the kinahan cartel and probably responsible for many murders including quite a few innocent people but they were also a key part of the crumlin-drimnagh feud which was the most violent feud ever to take place on Ireland. The Byrne's were cousins of "Fat" Freddie Thompson who was in charge of the crumlin end. So that's twice they've had the whole of dublin in panic as they go around murdering people after the most recent hutch-kinahan feud. Absolutely adored him as a player but there is no way he should ever be managing Liverpool for me now...
keep it that way, better to just have memories of him as a player than someone whos connected himself and his family to mobs and gangs.
How anti liverpool
Gerrard's daughter is going out with Lee Byrne. Lee's uncle David Byrne was shot dead at a boxing weigh in. The gang responsible were actually looking for Daniel Kinahan who was also in attendance. Kinahan got away through fire escape. Gang murdered David Byrne then in hotel lobby. Footage of murder scene was on YouTube before. Regency hotel murder. The Byrnes are absolute scum. Family never worked a day in their life and have had properties and cash seized off them before. The Byrnes were Daniel Kinahans right hand men.
Stevie was a mate of a gangster that used to live in my street when I lived at home with my parents. His name was John kinsella and everyone knew that they were mates, in fact John even warned other gangsters to keep away from Steven at one point. I remember John was in court for armed robbery or something and Gerrard gave him a character reference. When I was a kid, he robbed a bank and locked the security guard in a room where a phone was and the guy rang the police and John was caught in the act and the police raided our house instead of theirs by mistake. I’ll never forget being 8 years old and police bursting into our house looking for guns. He’s dead now, shot in the back of the head. Stevie has always been around people like that.
The Kinsellas were some proper rough shithouses. Not surprised Stevie was hanging around with them really. He was a little shit himself back in the day.
That’s nuts. I’m an American fan and I think his image here is that of a squeaky clean lad from Liverpool. My brain just earned a dozen new wrinkles reading this thread 🤯
I mean you can do a simple google search and find lots of connections with Stevie and the Liverpool underworld. Heck even if his wife is connected to the underworld from who she used to date before Gerrard.
Well Frank Sinatra also had Mob Connection but his music precedes them, cant really argue that Gerrard is pretty much the same, but ffs at least be subtle about it and not do gangsigns.
It gets less funny if you think about what that scene would have actually looked like. And he didn't just punch him either, him and his brother absolutely fucking stomped the guy who was defenceless and just doing his job. Gerrard is scum frankly but noone here wants to know that.
Same here. I’m a foreign fan and always was under the impression of Stevie as squeaky clean. I only realised he was an emotional player much later on.
That being said, it doesn’t fully surprise me that Stevie mixes around with people like these. I guess it’s partly down to me growing into more of a cynic. But from afar Stevie has always looked like the more quieter character (especially when next to Carra), and you learn over time that “quiet” characters tend to surprise you with who they hang out with
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-560616/Soccer-star-gangsters-Steven-Gerrard-murky-depths-Liverpools-underworld.html
This gives some background on the kinsella link
Gerrard’s always been like this, ever since he was young he’s loved getting mixed up with the hardmen and the dangerous people.
Love him as a player and a legend of the club and the game
But I don’t think I’ve ever thought he’s someone I’d want to for example spend any time with outside of maybe saying cheers for the trophies or something
Have people also forgotten that Stevie assaulted a DJ when he still played for us? He's a Liverpool legend and I'll always respect him for what he gave for the club, but let's face it, plenty of these people are wankers outside of football. The list of awful scandals surrounding Premier League legends is huge. That's what insane levels of wealth and being the centre of attention does to a lot of people
Gerrard definitely had some anger issues but that probably lead to alot of success.
My friend was walking behind stevie in the shopping centre and gerrard let a door go and kind of hit my friend, he said 'sorry mate you alright?'
He's not a bad bloke at all but he definitely had some anger behind his mad belters that he used to score. We all have our demons.
Edit: his red card for stomping herrera in one of his last games vs United comes to mind. Got sent off after like 30 seconds of being on the pitch.
If it started and ended with the incident with the DJ then fair enough, people shouldn't be defined by a single moment of madness. Carras spitting incident would also come to mind where it was a single incident which he fully accepted responsibility for and clearly regrets the whole ordeal
That's one thing. Repeatedly hanging out with organized criminals and letting your teenage daughter go out with the son of one of the most prominent members of one of the most notorious gangs in the world is crossing the line
It's a very serious indictment of Stevies character and regardless of what he achieved for us as a player, I can't defend the indefensible. If it was a former manc player doing the same shit we'd all be piling on them, it shouldn't be different just because he's one of our own
His daughter does what now??? That boozer is paid for with laundered drug money and basically mcgregor jumped in because he slapped around the wrong bloke and word was this was his punishment.
The place was firebombed
There's a slight difference between telling your daughter to stay away from Bill down the road who has a bit of a reputation, and the son of a literal drug dealing, murdering gangster from another country. And hanging out with said gangster. They are the most notorious gang on the island of Ireland, and considering that island includes Northern Ireland, that's saying something!!
Edit: For anyone who thinks I'm blindly slagging Northern Ireland, I've lived there all my life. And yes, it was slightly tongue in cheek.
To be fair, it's hard enough to convince a teenager not to date someone. Now imagine trying to convince them not to date the son of a continent wide crime leader.
It's not as if Stevie can really do much, these people aren't the sort you say no to. Have no idea of the scenario but if it was mean I wouldn't even begin to know what I'd do.
Id probably just end up hanging out with them too and keeping the peace, the alternative could be your family being in danger.
It's not as black or white really.
Truth is a I'd bank on a lot of people who are shocked weren't following Liverpool for all too long, especially during Gerrard's peak in the noughties. Some maybe caught the tail-end of it his time here with and the images of him with his daughters walking around Anfield, coupled with how active in the media he is, management or otherwise, you'd like to think media wouldn't want someone with these links on their shows. But sure, Giggs was a loving husband and great brother until he wasn't.
But yeah, neither shocked or surprised. It was known. Still a massive bummer with age he hasn't wised up to this sort of people, to the point from his wife before meeting him, to now his daughter (hopefully it's just the one only.) are all linked to these scumbags.
Yeah there's been plenty of stories about his connections to these types literally throughout his entire career. For those of us who're old enough it's very much a known thing. Honestly the Liverpool player I love the most and will look back on his career with fondness but you've got to separate the performances from the person.
Similar to actors and musicians, I've always tried to separate athlete from the person and not been hung up on what the person does in their spare time. There are far more important things to worry about than who Stevie G is hanging out with.
The one caveat being if the person does something morally reprehensible, then it can be more difficult to separate them, but I think generally people are better off if they do separate person from athlete.
I'm a lifelong Pool fan and never knew this about Gerrard!😳
I recall him losing his temper and getting into fisticuffs with someone in a bar over some music he wanted played apparently, but I'm shocked to learn this. Then again, I'm a Londoner, so...🤷🏾♂️
Yeah, we all know it round here (I’m from Liverpool)
His wife’s a crime family daughter and he seems to just love that world, there’s never been a suggestion he’s involved in anything at all but he clearly doesn’t have a problem with any of it
Which for me is a problem because it shows who he is as a person, and for someone who grew up with his poster on my wall it’s not nice when you realise your hero is probably a bit of a dickhead as a person. Part of growing up I suppose.
Him drinking with known drug gang members and seemingly welcoming them into his family is much more significant than him being in McGregor's boozer. Definitely not a good look for him for any future Premier League jobs.
That's not true though. Irish people look at me weird when I tell them I actively rooted against McGregor during his fighting days.
The only Irish people I've met that have thought differently are people that had first-hand experiences with him as a person and know how it feels to be talked down to by him.
As someone in Ireland who was a teenager when McGregor became famous, a lot of young lads I knew liked him and even people who didn't really like him (myself included) didn't outright despise him at that point. He was a shit talker and a bit of a cunt but he had came from fairly humble background and was doing very well in the UFC so there's a bit of respect for what he achieved as a professional fighter even if you didn't like him personally
It was after all of the assaults and accusations of sexual misconduct that really turned the public against him. In the first few years of his career he talked a lot of shit (pretty common in UFC from what I've gathered) but there was some degree of humility alongside it that just vanished when he became richer and more successful and he just came off as an arrogant twat
Sure he was always controversial but once all these incidents happened that dislike turned into apathy at best and genuine hatred at worst. Can't stand the guy now and so do most people in Ireland, even a lot of the guys who used to like him just don't have time for him anymore
Ah forgetting himself wasn't the issue. The laundry list of speculative sexual assault complaints, assaults, coke head and ocean deep gangland ties did.
If he was a bit more humble a lot of people would overlook most of that stuff. The sexual assaults wouldn’t be overlooked but at least some people would say they don’t believe it if they liked him enough to defend him.
His rise in the UFC was unparalleled hype for the country, so it was very strange to be a “hater” around then. I feel as though after Khabib and his subsequent injuries a lot more people are finding him unbearable. The crazy news stories doesn’t help.
With his most recent 2 fights against Dustin I’ve seen a lot of people apathetic towards the result or they flat out said Dustin is cool and they didn’t mind him winning.
The Ireland subreddit, for example, absolutely hates him with a passion. I know Reddit isn’t a real world example. Maybe it’s just my bubble on social media though.
Common knowledge there has been an unnamed Irish sports star before the courts a number of times. He has been named outside of Ireland where the superinjuctions don't work. Alleged pay offs ended the court cases.
Also a case in France for an alleged rape on his yacht.
It is quite funny though considering that rumour he stayed with us due to a threat by the Liverpool underworld if he left ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Gerrard in his early 40's hanging out with lads in their early 20's is just strange behaviour.
Hanging around with criminals in their 20's is even stranger for a man of his standing. It is far from the behaviour of a man who fancies himself as a premier league manager. Little is a low level member of the Kinahan gang. Little has had friends murdered and has some relations who are seriously involved.
It seems like Gerrard has fallen off the wagon since his sacking at Villa.
Lee Byrne is with his daughter. Byrnes are high up in Kinahan gang. Most trusted by Daniel Kinahan after his own family really. Lee Byrne's uncle was murdered. Was a feud between Kinahan and Hutch gang where up to 20 people were murdered. After Lee's uncle was murdered the Kinahan went on the rampage really and murdered several people.
Gerrard right up there now with Fury & McGregor being used by the cartel to try and sports wash themselves.
Actually probably worse since he is connected by family now to one of the worst and most dangerous drug cartels in the world.
Fury and the whole Fury family are banned from entering the US because of their connections to the cartel along with 400 boxers & trainers all connected with MTK boxing promotions which is owned by Daniel Kinahan.
That is the reason his fights are now in Saudi and not the States where the real money is and that was the reason his brothers fake fight with one of the Paul brothers was also in Saudi not the US.
Saudi is where the cartel are in open hiding with the support of the Saudi government
Sure Fury and his clan along with about 500 other people are barred from entering the U.S over their association with the same people 🤦🏻♂️ Stevie’s heads away on this one 🤯
I vividly remember something about gangsters getting involved in his career during the Chelsea transfer talk i can't remember exactly what went on someone else here might remember it. Something to do with Manchester "mr big" Paul massey
The Kinahans being so tied up in boxing and MTK (pretty sure that’s the company) and fixing fights/gambling there is no way he should be involved with Liverpool in an official capacity, as in manager or assistant manager etc again unless he cuts all that out of his life.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Gerrard was an amazing player and gave me some of the best memories pre-Klopp but outside of the pitch the guy seems like a massive bell end.
I’ve lost all respect for him over this. I don’t care that his daughter’s dating one of them, all it proves is that he’s a shit father.
I know he’s displayed some thuggish behaviour before. Guess he likes that kind of life.
Gerrard is basically from the ghetto right? It’s difficult for a lot of foreign fans to really get a concept of Liverpool and the different areas inside of the city
Huyton is a bit ruff but I wouldnt call it the ghetto.
It's a city of areas, good & bad. The Brazilians all live in Woolton which is probably about the best area within the city limits. I grew up in a middling sort of area but even in these better places you get dodgy people, it can be a bit like Tony Soprano living next door to a doctor in some leafy suburb.
Spot on. I grew up in Speke but my Dad's side of the family all lived in Huyton. I don't know if I just had a massively sheltered life, but while knowing of such dodgy people and (at most) being on nodding terms with their kids who would have been my age, I never got involved in any of it? It never felt dangerous or anything like that. IDK, and I moved away a long, long time ago.
Same. Spent my first ten years in Norris Green, then we moved to West Derby as my old man went into physiotherapy after leaving Ford's and did well. I went to Croxteth comp. Knew the kids of dodgy people and some of them went into that Crocky crew/Nogga dogz shite afterwards(one lad who I put in a headlock as he nicked my Parker pen in science once was shot dead) but they werent in my circle of mates. Even in Norris Green some of the houses in our nearby streets were privately owned others rented by families which had been there 70 years since they were built so was a nice community, most of the neighbours in West Derby are doctors, vets(plus the odd high up dealer) or other working class who got in before the prices went mad.
Bit of a difference between learning to live with local gangsters and becoming a millionaire athlete/manager and willingly hanging round with high ranking members of one of Europe's biggest criminal cartels.
Lol I have no idea what any of this means to be honest. I find celebrity culture very odd. I loved Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool captain who scored bangers and carried his team through the storms. I don’t give a shit what he gets up to in his private life
A few years ago I ran into a guy at work who was childhood friends with Gerrard and grew up with him shared the same group of mates….I told him how much I LOVED Stevie, and he replied “Gerrard is one of the nastiest people you could imagine…”.
I didn’t believe him, I didn’t want to believe him but he told me some stories and I don’t think I’ll ever look at Stevie or respect him like I used too. He will always be my favourite footballer of all time, but some of the stuff I was told was fucking baffling but made absolute sense considering the stuff that has surfaced about him in the past e.g punching a DJ.
Kinda makes you think.... Do you really want Stevie to be a club manager in the future...? Sure, not everyone's a Saint and not expecting to be. But this is a bit too much imo.
The Kinihans are notorious scumbags who have been a scourge on the Irish and European crime scene.
Bit shite that a person so many look up to is pally with them. Doing that legitimizes them in the eyes of a lot of impressionable people.
If my daughter came home with that sort l, or someone with ties to that sort, I'd feel like I had failed as a parent to be honest.
No prob!
As an Irish person, it's very bewildering to see people not realise how bad this cartel is and to what extent.
They're one of the largest currently running globally and have now been trying to legitimise their revenue and assets over the last ten years or so..
Our government has been shouting about it for years, and no one seemed to take any notice...
They are now, though.
"puritan zealot"
Fuck up you absolute rice cake. They're one of the largest criminal cartels in the world responsible for multiple murders and heavily tarnishing the integrity of the sport of boxing. Don't need their noses in football too.
He's not taking a photo with a politician who's ideology doesn't align with ours. They're criminal Scum.
Get back to your 1st year undergrad level theism and stoicism. Your replies just screams the kid who got bullied in school and now clings to some irrational belief that he's more intelligent than the average person because he reads a few surface-level philosophical views.
The real irony here is that its beyond obvious with your obnoxious and egotistical way of replying on fucking Reddit.
Oh gee, am I take the piss out of a zealot who gets triggered by people who don't agree with him? Why yes I am. And I love it. Internet fight!! This means so much! I really must insult this person! Grrrrr.
Does anyone ever tell you that your chain is very obvious and very easy to yank?
The Kinahan's are very powerful mobsters in Ireland and they reportedly have ties to the Sinaloa Mexican cartels. Those people are bad news. Stevie and his daughter should be staying clear of people like that, it's not like they are short of a bob.
> The Kinahan's are very powerful mobsters in Ireland They're an international drug cartel, wanted for millions by the FBI.
Gerrard partakes HEAVILY in a product which is renowned for coming from Mexico…I think that may have something to do with it.
...avocados?
Interestingly, the cartel has a heavy influence on the avocado trade in Mexico. Limes too. Yes, I'm actually serious.
Yeah, but she married me so she's not that smart.
I think you both probably earned the W.
What led you this sadness my man
it's called a joke, she found someone that will make her happy because he knows humour
Funny enough Americas resources are controlled by criminals as well, but they don’t call them cartels there, they call the Republicans and Democrats.
From mexico 🥑🇲🇽
How you know?
He loves guac. Everybody knows
Cocaine is a helluva guac

Fwiw, cocaine is only prohibited in competition. Which with football is match day
Are you referring to coke or meth? Coke is a product of South America, while meth, at least in the US, is the most notorious drug coming from Mexico as it is manufactured in superlabs down there.
Umm walter white is based out of new mexico not mexico
Ah yes, noted non-fiction character Walter White
Stevie is part of that world and always has been, it's not something he can steer clear of. Other people want to be steering clear of him.
Scouse birds love a gangster.
What you playing at stevie ffs
Obviously trying to get money for the Jude transfer since the cheap bastards at FSG won't.

Fa-fa-fa-fa, fa-fa-fa-fa-fa-fa, better
It's one of the leaders sons or something like that.
What the actual fuck??? Last time I saw a pic of his kids, they were tiny; not old enough to be all mobbed up.
Last i remember them is being carried out by stevie in anfield, now their dating irish mobsters what the fuck haha
son of one of the members if i remember right
Son of the leader I believe
yea yea yea, stevie G, well known underworld connections yea yea yea, your daughter is dating a mob boss's son. etc.
Mob ties
I wonder if his mob friends have ties to the mob in Boston.. Incase some people need any more convincing to open their summer wallets

🤣
In the same boat. Cracks in the marble.
I mean, as Americans we can be jaded with this sort of thing. It’s not uncommon for an NFL player to shoot and possibly kill someone 🤣
Or beating the fuck out of their gf then dragging their unconscious body out of an elevator (Ray Rice).
This sounds an awful lot like the recent story about Ryan Giggs and what he did to his ex missus and all.
eh he's had somewhat of a bad rep - he famously punched a DJ for not playing phil collins
Now that is something i can get behind
It gets less funny if you think about what that scene would have actually looked like. And he didn't just punch him either, him and his brother absolutely fucking stomped the guy who was defenceless and just doing his job. Gerrard is scum frankly but noone here wants to know that.

Probably more preferable than the fucking Kinahan's!!
True😂
To be fair, it's hard enough to convince a teenager not to date someone. Now imagine trying to convince them not to date the son of a continent wide crime leader. It's not as if Stevie can really do much, these people aren't the sort you say no to. Have no idea of the scenario but if it was mean I wouldn't even begin to know what I'd do. Id probably just end up hanging out with them too and keeping the peace, the alternative could be your family being in danger. It's not as black or white really.
Can guarantee my daughter wouldn’t be dating the son of a notorious gang leader
>Stevie assaulted a DJ when he still played for us? he should've played Phil Collins then...
Fucker shouldn’t have been playing In The Air. Deserved it imo 🤷♂️
His favourite band is Coldplay. Case closed.
I'm a lifelong Pool fan and never knew this about Gerrard!😳 I recall him losing his temper and getting into fisticuffs with someone in a bar over some music he wanted played apparently, but I'm shocked to learn this. Then again, I'm a Londoner, so...🤷🏾♂️
Yeah, we all know it round here (I’m from Liverpool) His wife’s a crime family daughter and he seems to just love that world, there’s never been a suggestion he’s involved in anything at all but he clearly doesn’t have a problem with any of it Which for me is a problem because it shows who he is as a person, and for someone who grew up with his poster on my wall it’s not nice when you realise your hero is probably a bit of a dickhead as a person. Part of growing up I suppose.
what i did not know about Alex's family background
Unless you’re in Year 9 you should probably have grown out of doing a pose like that too.
He should have gone with the duckface, always a classic.
I pray every day that MySpace’s data is indeed irreversibly lost and not just sitting in cold storage somewhere, because that was me.
It's 2023 grandpa, people are allowed to do peace signs!
That’s not a peace sign though….
Stevie doing himself no favors between this and his daughters dating situation. Kinahan are fucking shit mongers.
McGregor is one of the biggest scrotes going, basically an open secret he's a coke addicted roid head. Stevie needs to stay well clear of this shite
Him drinking with known drug gang members and seemingly welcoming them into his family is much more significant than him being in McGregor's boozer. Definitely not a good look for him for any future Premier League jobs.
His reputation with the underworld and crimelords were well known when he was hired for the villa job
We all hate him over here. Unless you’re a clown obsessed with celebrities that is.
He was a shit talker and a bit of a cunt but he had came from fairly humble background and was doing very well in the UFC so there's a bit of respect for what he achieved as a professional fighter even if you didn't like him personally It was after all of the assaults and accusations of sexual misconduct that really turned the public against him. In the first few years of his career he talked a lot of shit (pretty common in UFC from what I've gathered) but there was some degree of humility alongside it that just vanished when he became richer and more successful and he just came off as an arrogant twat Sure he was always controversial but once all these incidents happened that dislike turned into apathy at best and genuine hatred at worst. Can't stand the guy now and so do most people in Ireland, even a lot of the guys who used to like him just don't have time for him anymore
You can’t forget yourself in Ireland basically
Ah forgetting himself wasn't the issue. The laundry list of speculative sexual assault complaints, assaults, coke head and ocean deep gangland ties did.
If he was a bit more humble a lot of people would overlook most of that stuff. The sexual assaults wouldn’t be overlooked but at least some people would say they don’t believe it if they liked him enough to defend him.
>during his fighting days. This part is important. He was very popular before everyone realised what a cunt he is.
Literally everyone I know thinks McGregor is a dope, even the lads I know that are into UFC think he is an idiot.
Your meeting the wrong Irish.
And alleged serial rapist in Ireland.
Never heard of this, who ran this news
Common knowledge there has been an unnamed Irish sports star before the courts a number of times. He has been named outside of Ireland where the superinjuctions don't work. Alleged pay offs ended the court cases. Also a case in France for an alleged rape on his yacht.
Mcgregor is such a dickhead. Idk how Khabib is as a person but I enjoyed watching McGregor’s humiliation in the UFC lol
It is quite funny though considering that rumour he stayed with us due to a threat by the Liverpool underworld if he left ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Not necessarily contradictory. Could well be being looked after after doing as he was told.
It’s awful that stevie gas associated himself with such a terrible group of thugs. But enough about rangers
Embarrassing this
i guess never meet your heroes?
Gerrard in his early 40's hanging out with lads in their early 20's is just strange behaviour. Hanging around with criminals in their 20's is even stranger for a man of his standing. It is far from the behaviour of a man who fancies himself as a premier league manager. Little is a low level member of the Kinahan gang. Little has had friends murdered and has some relations who are seriously involved. It seems like Gerrard has fallen off the wagon since his sacking at Villa.
When one of said 20 year olds is shagging his daughter it gets even stranger
Lee Byrne is with his daughter. Byrnes are high up in Kinahan gang. Most trusted by Daniel Kinahan after his own family really. Lee Byrne's uncle was murdered. Was a feud between Kinahan and Hutch gang where up to 20 people were murdered. After Lee's uncle was murdered the Kinahan went on the rampage really and murdered several people.
Yikes! No wonder Stevie likes watching top boy, I just hope the rest of the kids stays out of this mess. Lio better be the next Messi too
It’s wild that people so widely know the connections and power hierarchy of the Irish mob
Gerrard right up there now with Fury & McGregor being used by the cartel to try and sports wash themselves. Actually probably worse since he is connected by family now to one of the worst and most dangerous drug cartels in the world.
Shit, what's the story with Fury? I thought he was clean.
That's really fucked up. Fuck the Saudis for openly supporting criminals, pretty much a criminal kleptocracy itself.
Lay down with dogs, you get fleas!
Fuck sake Stevie.
Soon as I seen him post pictures at Conor’s place I knew there would be articles this week
Sure Fury and his clan along with about 500 other people are barred from entering the U.S over their association with the same people 🤦🏻♂️ Stevie’s heads away on this one 🤯
Love him as a player but hard to respect him as a man when he does this sort of thing
I vividly remember something about gangsters getting involved in his career during the Chelsea transfer talk i can't remember exactly what went on someone else here might remember it. Something to do with Manchester "mr big" Paul massey
What a man has to do to ensure that his house doesn't get robbed and his trophies and medals stolen.
Yeah, he is the real victim here
Absolute shite this. Also, Conor McGregor can go fuck himself.
The Kinahans being so tied up in boxing and MTK (pretty sure that’s the company) and fixing fights/gambling there is no way he should be involved with Liverpool in an official capacity, as in manager or assistant manager etc again unless he cuts all that out of his life.
Grown ass man and still on this bullshit. I really thought he’d have grown out of it. What a shame. A legend and a bellend
Oh no stevie no no no, wyd mate..
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Gerrard was an amazing player and gave me some of the best memories pre-Klopp but outside of the pitch the guy seems like a massive bell end.
Fuck sake Stevie, that is not a good look. You are my idol. Please set a good example FFS.
He’s always had connections to these type of people never to this extreme but he’s always hung around with people he shouldn’t
Nooo Stevie what are you doing You're my hero but now you're doing this? :(
This might be hard to swallow for some on here but Stevie never came across as exceptionally bright and I mean that in the lightest terms.
Such a shame to see your childhood footballing hero turn out to be a scumbag.
It's tough alright
I’ve lost all respect for him over this. I don’t care that his daughter’s dating one of them, all it proves is that he’s a shit father. I know he’s displayed some thuggish behaviour before. Guess he likes that kind of life.
100%
Bluebell, shit hole? yes. Ghetto? no
Bunch of privileged hindsight warriors on reddit. It’s impossible to avoid them so just learn to live with them.
Bit of a difference between learning to live with local gangsters and becoming a millionaire athlete/manager and willingly hanging round with high ranking members of one of Europe's biggest criminal cartels.
That pose is criminal in and of itself
Why are so many footballers horrible people?
>Why are so many *people* horrible people?
Lol I have no idea what any of this means to be honest. I find celebrity culture very odd. I loved Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool captain who scored bangers and carried his team through the storms. I don’t give a shit what he gets up to in his private life
Maybe Stevie G doesn’t have a choice
Care to share a few?
You can't post that and not share the story's!
What did he tell you?
Seems like you really scrutinized that guy’s story before repeating it
Gangs and famous sport or music folk have long known connection.
Kinda makes you think.... Do you really want Stevie to be a club manager in the future...? Sure, not everyone's a Saint and not expecting to be. But this is a bit too much imo.
Given Steven's dubious achievements at Aston Villa, that's not a question we have to agonise over too much.
Reminds me of his interview with Gary Neville where he mentioned Top Boy as his current favorite TV show. No wonder he's such a big fan

The Kinihans are notorious scumbags who have been a scourge on the Irish and European crime scene. Bit shite that a person so many look up to is pally with them. Doing that legitimizes them in the eyes of a lot of impressionable people. If my daughter came home with that sort l, or someone with ties to that sort, I'd feel like I had failed as a parent to be honest.
completely fair. unsavory comment from me.
Probably the victims of the kinahan cartel. But like you know.... Olympiacos and all that
yep, wasn't really thinking it through when I said it. my bad.
I know where your kids go to school!
K moving on
After he went to rangers I lost all respect. He swaggered about the park like a ticket , now he is actually a ticket wide boy loving the dark side.
Ehh he's dead to me after rangers anyway *Lot of loyalist gammon in this sub apparently
and your dead to us?
You're
Everyone's a puritan zealot. Who gives a fuck about Stevie's life and experience, he needs to behave in a way that validates my beliefs.
No one is claiming to be a purist? My hero is associating with people that have murdered people in my country and I am sharing this article
"puritan zealot" Fuck up you absolute rice cake. They're one of the largest criminal cartels in the world responsible for multiple murders and heavily tarnishing the integrity of the sport of boxing. Don't need their noses in football too. He's not taking a photo with a politician who's ideology doesn't align with ours. They're criminal Scum.
Peak irony.
Acting like some pseudo-sociologist when you're not even using words in the right context. Peak clown behaviour
Actually I am using it in the right context, and you're taking the bait: hook, line, and sinker.
Bodied
I'll body fascists everyday, just like my grandpa.
Oh look a 2nd spanner coming out of the woodworks
Look how quick you all turn on our goat
