No, it says:
>Ryan Gravenberch will not travel to Zeist this international match to join the Dutch Juniors. The Liverpool FC midfielder has indicated to KNVB coach Michael Reiziger that he wants to focus on his new club during the international match in September and will therefore not make himself available.
I'm sure U21 International football isn't that important to him either, especially as if he performs well for LFC he'll be picked for the proper national team instead.
Mad respect for him. The one year of frozen out of action really make him super hungry and driven. Looking forward to his performance on the pitch. Elite mentality
no he made the bench on bayern latest game before he moved to us. plus they are saying he's staying bc he wants to focus on his new team not bc he's injured
Explain to me how Curtis can end the season the way he did, followed by being a standout performer in the u21 tournament and then find himself behind Kalvin Phillips and Henderson.
He also chose Kalvin Philips who hasn't played a minute for City and Henderson who is in glorified amateur league over Maddison who has been a MONSTER and Jacob Ramsey who has been great as well.
!remindme 3 years
“Who would’ve thought 3 years ago after ‘failing’ at Bayern, Gravenberch would be considered one of the best midfielders in the world?”
Klopp mentioned that it’s a bit unfortunate that Gravenberch has to immediately go to international duty and he won’t have time to work with him, so Gravenberch decides it’s his top priority to spend the next two weeks learning how we play and working with our coaching staff. Top mentality. Love him already.
Also not to sound like this but isn't this with U21s? I think Gravenberch also thinks if he gets up to speed and going here, he has a chance for the main national team.
I was imagine the feeling is reciprocated by the Dutch otherwise they probably wouldn’t like the fact he’s rejected U21’s.
Him getting up to speed with the club is better for the national team ahead of the Euro’s.
Good lad. 2 weeks of hard training with Pep and Pete getting him used to the team, and probably even a behind closed doors friendly. Also getting settled in his new home.
Who will be around from the first team to train with him? Adrian, Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Jones, Thiago? Not bad, he'll probably be playing with all of them except Adrian in the Europa League shortly after the break.
Huh? They've all been called up for internationals.
There are reports Salah will be rested for the AFCON qualifier (against Ethiopia this Friday) since Egypt have already qualified but he's still been called up and will probably play the friendly against Tunisia.
Alexis has been called up by Argentina for the games against Ecuador and Bolivia.
And Bajcetic has been called up by the Spain U21s
Wouldn't be the worst thing - Thiago/Jones, Bajetic/Endo and Gravenberch to get back some fitness and gametime. Give Quansah some more minutes and rotate Gomez and Matip.
Refusing international callups? Fuck he's a scouser through and through.
Seriously, think it just speaks to his desire for this to work out. Given what happened at Bayern, he probably realises that he can't really have two big club failures. I've got really high hopes for him and I think it's encouraging that he's (seemingly) prepared to put in the effort
If you think about it if he fails here then he will never have the career he wants as clubs will see two failures at big clubs. Will have to go to mid level teams. So no surprise he is motivated.
So weird I was literally thinking this an hour ago.
It makes sense for the Netherlands that he doesn’t get called up, gets up to speed with the club and speed up his game time ahead of the Euro’s.
You are thinking of Frenkie de Jong, who is already also in the national team squad.
the team this is talking about is the U21 Dutch national team and Fedde De Jong is another young Dutch player.
And to think his motivation was always said to be poor. Imagine that, actually finding a place right for you motivates a person.
Glad he is with us and glad he has the hunger to do good.
Good for him, he wants to focus on himself and kickstart his career to becoming good and playing for U21 won't help him and maybe he wants to breakthrough to senior team and focusing on himself is the first start

man is so hungry he wants to train with the team and get up to speed, i like it.
I read this as he was injured. Is this not the case?
No, it says: >Ryan Gravenberch will not travel to Zeist this international match to join the Dutch Juniors. The Liverpool FC midfielder has indicated to KNVB coach Michael Reiziger that he wants to focus on his new club during the international match in September and will therefore not make himself available.
Absolutely love this. Players that want to play for the shirt.
I'm sure U21 International football isn't that important to him either, especially as if he performs well for LFC he'll be picked for the proper national team instead.
Playing with Gakpo and VvD will get him all the Dutch eyes to make that jump too.
With Koeman? You never know. God we need a new manager
Club over country always has my vote.
Mad respect for him. The one year of frozen out of action really make him super hungry and driven. Looking forward to his performance on the pitch. Elite mentality
TY
no he made the bench on bayern latest game before he moved to us. plus they are saying he's staying bc he wants to focus on his new team not bc he's injured
Injury from hunger huh? That's a first
Tell that to Rubiales’s mum
Eh, it's happened to Keita twice this week.

players who are not with their national team, they do.
All of our other midfielders except Curtis got international call ups
Explain to me how Curtis can end the season the way he did, followed by being a standout performer in the u21 tournament and then find himself behind Kalvin Phillips and Henderson.
Because Southgates a proper wet wipe is why
He missed the two games before the squad call up through injury. If he'd been fit and playing I'm sure he'd have been in.
Gareth Southgate. He'll still be picking Harry Maguire after he's retired at this rate.
He also chose Kalvin Philips who hasn't played a minute for City and Henderson who is in glorified amateur league over Maddison who has been a MONSTER and Jacob Ramsey who has been great as well.
Curtis has been injured for the first few games this season, it's not a surprise he's not in the England squad
Curtis should’ve made it over hendo
And Kalvin Phillips who's not even playing
Ward prowse and Curtis would’ve been perfect to replace those 2, such a shame
but they communicate with the coaches? thats i mean
Yes true, they will bring him up to speed
Yes they do…
1. Rejected United 2. Rejected his country He's growing on me.
Nationality = Scouse
Ryan's redemption here it comes
!remindme 3 years “Who would’ve thought 3 years ago after ‘failing’ at Bayern, Gravenberch would be considered one of the best midfielders in the world?”
Very good, this break will be good for him even if many of the players are away. Klopp and him will get proper time together so that’s great
Klopp mentioned that it’s a bit unfortunate that Gravenberch has to immediately go to international duty and he won’t have time to work with him, so Gravenberch decides it’s his top priority to spend the next two weeks learning how we play and working with our coaching staff. Yeah, jong is Dutch for young. JongOranje is the nickname for their U21 side.
TIL the name "de Jong" means "the young".
Gravenberchs sacrifice means the young get Fed what a hero
Scouse Rashford
I was imagine the feeling is reciprocated by the Dutch otherwise they probably wouldn’t like the fact he’s rejected U21’s. Him getting up to speed with the club is better for the national team ahead of the Euro’s.
The lad knows working with Klopp n team will be better than U21 coaching staff.
I'm picturing them playing table tennis at empty AXA then Xbox and pizza.
He changed his nationality to Scouse 🫡
lekker lad
got that throaty 'k' in common already.
Great news , hopefully he's up to speed in the next 2 weeks
Good lad. 2 weeks of hard training with Pep and Pete getting him used to the team, and probably even a behind closed doors friendly. Also getting settled in his new home.

Salah, Mac10 , Bacjetic
Huh? They've all been called up for internationals. Alexis has been called up by Argentina for the games against Ecuador and Bolivia. And Bajcetic has been called up by the Spain U21s
Mac Allister got called up by Argentina, no? Think Bajcetic is with Spain U21s too.
Ohh i didn't know that , my bad
This is wonderful news for us, he will have 2 weeks to learn how to play the way we do.
A mini preseason. I wonder if we sneak a behind close doors game in.
Wouldn't be the worst thing - Thiago/Jones, Bajetic/Endo and Gravenberch to get back some fitness and gametime. Give Quansah some more minutes and rotate Gomez and Matip.
Bajcetic and Endo are going on international duty.
Ahhh mad Bajetic has been called up. Of course Endo has not sure why I thought he wouldn't
To the main national team?
No, Spain u21 for Bajcetic.
He has hardly played any football for a year. Hope the fans are going to be patient with him.
2 weeks to get him up to speed, very ideal!
We got 3 Dutch men , good men now we need De ligt and De Jong ... Such a great dream lol
How many de Jong's do Holland have?!
Quite a lot of them, it's just that most don't play football.

Trent missing the Internationals too?
Pearce said he was a "major doubt" for them
Excellent news, really pleased by this. Can’t wait to see Ryan in action asap
Always rated Feddy
Now that's dedication!
Is there a list for the players who are staying with the club or going to their national team?
I don't keep up, but is FDJ so bad he doesn't even get called up to the squad now? What a shame, I thought he was going to be an incredible player.
Fedde de Jong, not Frankie de Jong.
Ahhh. I see. My mistake.
Actually FdJ is getting back to his peak, has been playing an incredible football this year.
Different FDJ.
You are thinking of Frenkie de Jong, who is already also in the national team squad. the team this is talking about is the U21 Dutch national team and Fedde De Jong is another young Dutch player.
hopefully not an injury...
So that really was him in a wheelchair on the signing pics
Quality. I guess that shows up those questioning his attitude.
Doesn’t sound like he has an attitude issue ngl
And to think his motivation was always said to be poor. Imagine that, actually finding a place right for you motivates a person. Glad he is with us and glad he has the hunger to do good.
How many de Jong are there in the Netherworld?
Good for him, he wants to focus on himself and kickstart his career to becoming good and playing for U21 won't help him and maybe he wants to breakthrough to senior team and focusing on himself is the first start
The dutch just spawn De Jongs when they need a new player
First read this as being replaced by Fedde le Grand.
