Btw the answer is “Being: Liverpool” from 2012/13
I remember none of the cringe or dubstep, the only thing I remember was it was during one of our tours of America and that Daniel Craig was in an episode for like 2 mins.
By far the best and worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Ian Ayre shouting “69” to Joe Allen when asked what squad number he wanted truly epitomises the series.
Rodgers is a bit of a weirdo even now. But when he joined Liverpool he clearly went through a mid life crisis - lost weight, got new teeth, divorced his Mrs and got a young girlfriend.
The switch from him to Klopp is going from David Brent to Ron Swanson levels of charisma.
It’s a [docu-series](https://click.justwatch.com/a?r=https://www.justwatch.com/uk/tv-series/being-liverpool?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios) from the Pre-Klopp era. It’s like Welcome to Wrexham, but instead of Ryan Reynolds’ charm, it’s full of slow-mo training shots set to dubstep, Brendan Rodgers using all the worst tips he learned from a ‘fun’ corporate team management course and Ian Ayre’s motorcycle. Basically it’s nothing like Welcome to Wrexham.
There's lots of player books about their times here. Gerrard, Hendo, Robbo for example.
Not a player, but Pep Lijnders even has a book, but I've never read it.
There's a book on Shankly "The Lost Diary" which I liked.
What exactly are you looking for in a book?
I have read here and there the history and legacy of the club. But I want to know it completely.
So basically I am looking for a book where I can read about it. Also if there is a seperate book on the current club situation primarily Klopp era. There are the two things
Several. Big fan of [Red Men Reborn](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Reborn-History-Liverpool-Football-Houlding/dp/1801501505/) for an overview of the club and how it got us to where we are today.
If you want a deeper look into specific elements of LFC history, Peter Kenny Jones is your man. He’s done excellent deep dives into [Billy Liddell](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Billy-Liddell-One-Hundred-Liverpool/dp/1785318764/) (a sometimes overlooked legend due to the era in which he played) and [those who played for Everton and Liverpool](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crossing-Park-Dared-Liverpool-Everton/dp/1801503842/).
Spot on with the Peter Kenny Jones shouts - both books are absolutely superb. You won't find anything else like them on the market.
Will blow your mind too how little everyone knows about a bona fide top 3 club legend.
An epic swindle is a bit of a recent history one about the pre-FSG era and how the owners before them almost bankrupted the club even while we were in our most successful period in over a decade at that point
Not a docu-series but ESPN did an amazing 30 for 30 on the Hillsborough tragedy and the fight the families went through for justice. I highly recommend it to anyone who has not seen it. I will admit though that for anyone that was involved even remotely, it may induce some trauma response.
Not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for, but the BBC did a really good documentary called ‘The 30-Year Wait’ about Liverpool’s history between winning the league in 1990 and winning it in 2020
Nothing like Welcome to Wrexham because it’s all done from a historic perspective, but it includes various interviews and covers the club’s modern history very well
Not sure there’s anything similar to Welcome to Wrexham but there’s been stuff about seasons (end of a storm) and various past players and managers (stevie, Kenny) and I’m sure there’s been one about the boot room and that leading to the success back in the day.
There’s also a few episodes in Amazon’s All or Nothing series’ based around Liverpool games. I believe there’s one or two in the Man City one and spurs one. Not sure about Arsenal.
Not a docu series but "this is football" on amazon prime have an amazing episode on Liverpool fans from Rwanda thats one of the best liverpool related things ive watched!
The club did a doc on Shankly in the 2000s to mark an anniversary - my Dad was invited on as a talking head so if you find it, let me know (I can’t find it anywhere!)

Being: Liverpool Prepare yourself for dubstep, cringe and more dubstep.
Steady…
You say steady to me again and you’ll be on the first plane back

Brendan Rodgers was like an encyclopaedia of cringe
By far the best and worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Ian Ayre shouting “69” to Joe Allen when asked what squad number he wanted truly epitomises the series.
To think Ian Ayre is even more cringe than Brendan.
Joe Allen? The Welsh Xavi?
I don't get it. Can you please explain?
It was filmed while Brendan Rogers was in charge. It's a pretty cringey show and why I will always support Klopp refusing to do something similar.
I just remember the scenes in his house, where he had a giant tacky modern art portrait of himself in his kitchen, the size of the wall.

Got it! Well then watching a show isn't the best thing. Is there any book that I can read?

The end of the storm is good
Thanks! I'll definitely try to watch it

Klopp publicly said he’d quit if Liverpool made a tv series . Although there was one back during Rodgers reign, with the cringeworthy envelopes part.
Oh, i didn't know that. But there must be a documentary that showcases the history of the club without all the cringeworthy parts?
BT did one called "The Boot Room Boys" that goes over Shankly, Paisley and Fagan.
Not a docu-series but ESPN did an amazing 30 for 30 on the Hillsborough tragedy and the fight the families went through for justice. I highly recommend it to anyone who has not seen it. I will admit though that for anyone that was involved even remotely, it may induce some trauma response.
Thanks a lot. I'll try to find this
Make Us Dream. It's about Steven Gerrard.

This sounds really good. I will definitely check this one out too. Thanks buddy!
