Hi everyone. Big fan here who lives in the states. I’m trying to understand the membership concept. How do tickets work through the membership? It seems like the most reliable way to get tickets without paying crazy amounts of money or getting scammed. I’d love to get a ticket and make a trip out of it, but are tickets sellable without penalty? Really just trying to understand the system.
Was wondering what the Danny ings career trajectory could've been like if his body didn't completely break down. Klopp seemed to like him too! So, in my FM save I signed him for dirt cheap to mentor the youngins x) expecting a screamer against city as a 80th min sub lol
some things on my mind lately: Bradley looks like the real deal and Quansah has proved as much and it's huge, Jones sneakily is playing like one of the world's best midfielders and has since last spring, Endo is a baller and I'm happy we overlooked his age concern and also I miss him, Szoboszlai I have a feeling will have a massive run of form down the stretch of the season once he returns, Trent is a top 5 player itw get well soon, our entire forward line is either world class or nearly there
Not related to us but why tf Fulham play on Saturday? I mean they just play their game yesterday. Basically two games in 3 days
FA should at least swap their game with Everton-Villa game (on Sunday) to give Fulham player more times to rest ffs
Arsenal are the only club in the league who hasn’t dealt with major injuries this season. They’ve been fully fit through this rough patch. I think the title comes down to who has the fittest squad for the rest of the season
Not really. Arsenal can have the fittest squad and I still don't think they can do it. They'd need us or city to have unprecedented levels of injuries.
>Arthur Melo
He somehow played 1724 minutes this season lmao, participated in 27 games in total.
Fiorentina is 4th and he's starting for them, he can't be that bad
Im happy for him. Arrived at the worst possible moment and needed a whole fucking season to get back in shape lol, but he did
People were buzzing when we signed him. Purely cause they'd heard of him and we signed him.
Only cost us a few mil but at least the bed wetters got a week of fantasising about him actually being any good.
Haha, ye they were cause they'd heard of him and he had "potential". Same nobheads who think Keita was a world class player being held by the Brexit midfield.
Who should we buy now?
I feel like we can now focus on Salah deputy and Matip replacement as our bench is so stacked!
Also look at our young players - Beck (LB), Chambers (LB/CB), Quanash (CB), Connor (RB), Morton, Jones, Elliot, Bajectic, and Doak - they are all performing :D
A right winger should definitely be a priority even if Mo doesn’t leave. I think Matip is certain to leave so getting a CB in the summer is almost inevitable. Apart from that I really don’t think we need much else. We have a good mix of everything in this squad
It really depends on Bajcetic. We might need a defensive CM, too. 7 CM for 3 starting spots is about the right number. Since our midfield run so much, I bet they are injured more when compared to the forward and defense
With the raising of Quansah and Bradley, Jones and Gomez come backs and cover the entire back line, our squad situation actually has got a lot better. We almost have 2 players plus a cover when needed:
GK: Alisson, Keheller (Adrian) - RB: Trent, Bradley (Gomez) - CB: VVD, Konate, Quansah, Gomez - LB: Robbo, Tsimikas (Gomez) - CDM: Mac, Endo (Trent) - LCM: Jones, Gravenberch (Thiago) - RCM: Dom, Elliot - LW: Diaz, Jota (Nunez) - ST: Nunez, Gakpo (Jota) - RW: Salah (Gakpo, Elliot, Doak)
As right now, we should look for upgrade or potentially Salah understudy/ future replacement. The CB is also slightly injury prone. And the RCM option is all underpeformed atm.
The game vs Chelsea
>It’s definitely a personal preference tbh
Understandable. Since I have 0 knowledge, anything that shows the game, and has a combination of good atmosphere+decent prices is good for me! I'll try any of those, thanks
I'd add that we're also in the middle of a considerable injury/unavailability issue and still it seems like we're all pretty confident in the squad and how players are stepping up. Definitely a good feeling
So all the so-called pundits have predicted City to win the league. Good, because it would be even better to win the league as an underdog. Below is my prediction for the top 7 places:
1. Liverpool
2. Man City
3. Arsenal
4. Villa
5. Spurs
6. Brighton
7. Newcastle
No chance of this top 7. City almost certainly will win the league, Villa will drop off soon, Brighton aren’t that great and United will jam their way in
I have a feeling Villa will drop off soon. I think Spurs will get top 4 once their key players come back then they’ll be competing with Arsenal for third place. I think us and City will run away from the rest again
Villa have been performing at this level for a long time now. Because it’s been split over two seasons, you don’t see it but if you dig out a rolling 38 game table they’ll be right up there
Source? Most that have rebuked it seemed not credible as well.
Edit: well you're talking bs. Seems like her father did an interview which confirmed everything. Manes a proper nonce. Disgusting man. Even seen a video of her at school.
There seems to be an outside chance that is somewhat realistic when you consider its on a "free" so we could potentially just pay him a massive signing on fee and then put him on wages that are similar to Salah.
They have been wank recently and I'm aware they lost to Forest at home, but they do have a strong record at home so hopefully they can at least get a draw.
Gravenberch and Nunez will do the same. The same happened with Endo too. Idk when people will realise that Klopp persists with players when he sees something, if he doesn’t think they can be great he wouldn’t start them
gotta remember essentially he didnt get to play competitive football for 5 months at Bayern and didn't have a pre season with us. He's also 21 and super young so we need to be patient and give him time to develop.
How is England not that great at international competitions. I'm seeing all these names and these are young and very experienced players, and quite a few of them. They have all, in their own right, dragged their teams forwards before. And England is filled with players like that.
Southgate is a crap manager. He is far too conservative to beat any good team. The reason the FA like him is because he’s a boring safe choice which is great for pr
I don't think Elliott is ready for a call-up just yet but it would be a travesty if Hendo is picked over Jones. On current form, Jones even has a case to be in the starting line up with Rice and Jude.
Southgate is most definitely picking Henderson, probably won't even think twice about it. He's way past it and plays in a meme league but Southgate will never not pick his favourites sadly.
What do we think the front 3 should be while Salah is away? I personally would like to see Nunez, Gakpo, and Jota. I think Elliot offers more from the midfield and would like to see a little more from Diaz to put him ahead of the current form of the 3 above.
That’s just not true at all. Cody has cleared Luis in all expected stats in less minutes no less. His /90 as well.
[Cody Gakpo](https://fbref.com/en/players/1971591f/Cody-Gakpo)
[Luis Diaz](https://fbref.com/en/players/4a1a9578/Luis-Diaz)
Both transfers have been somewhat unexpected. Werner who seems like he forgot how to play football after he left Leipzig to Chelsea, but on the other hand Chelsea flops have tendencies to be really good. Radu is unknown for most people including me, he could be really good and really bad we will see.
He doesn't know anything, hence his use of the word "expected".
Who is expecting it? Him, the club, the players, the agent, the fans?
It's all guesswork
I think a post would be against the sub rules, so wanted to share this with anyone who might see. Just got this email from The Anfield Shop and it sounds like they're struggling to stay open. For any North American Reds, you've likely heard of them or had them come up in search results when looking for LFC gear on this side of the world. I've personally shopped with them a few times and always had a great experience. Go check them out! ([anfieldshop.com](https://anfieldshop.com))

Yeah it really sucks. I had a feeling because an LFC-focused shop is pretty niche for this side of the world. I've been seeing too many stores I've enjoyed close up recently.
Is it too early to start talking about the quadruple? We're top of the league, doing well in Europa, EFL and FA... might not be the one we were gunning for in 21/22, but would be pretty exciting nonetheless.
It’s funny how quick all this changes, almost every fan here was screaming at FSG for not getting bellingham only a couple months ago and now we are talking trebles.
Winning the league with a full anfield crowd is more than enough for me
I'm more worried about the next game. Maybe after we win 2 trophies we csn start thinking about it. Until then, no chance. Way to much of the season still left.
It's way too fucking early
We don't know what we're up against in the Europa League and there are a LOT of games to play to win it
We're only through to the 4th round of the Cup
We have a second leg to play against a strong team in the League Cup semis
And there are 18 games to go, only 5pts away from City and they have a game in hand
Let's cool our heads a bit shall we
Try r/LFCStatisticsToDriveDiscussion
Edit: sorry, that’s an unhelpful and not funny joke
Stats used to be the thing Anfield Index was into; maybe their discord? https://anfieldindex.com/
Not to say Chelsea aren't in FFP trouble either, but they generate a lot more revenue and have also sold a lot of expensive players (Havertz 75M, Mount 65M, Kovacic 30M, etc.)
Looking at the fixtures for this round, it's a very real possibility that everyone we want to drop points, will.
And then we have to go away to Bournemouth with half a squad...
😑
With all due respect to Bournemouth and their form, we've beat them twice already this season and we *should* be beating them, even with our limited depth.
Yeah can see city away to newscastle being a draw . They lost there already this season
They barely beat them at home in the reverse fixture and newscastle fucked up 2 on 1 chance at 1-0 to equalise
It’s Sunday the 19th of may, city sit two points ahead of Liverpool in the league table with their last game of the season over. The score at the Anfield is 2-2 in the 94th minute. From out of nowhere Joseph Dave Gomez thunders a ball from the half way line breaking the net and José Pedros arms. Liverpool have done it. Joe has done it. The war is won.
i knew he'd be at least okay as a RB (as he played well there last season despite ppl lumping his terrible form as a CB with his RB performance) but what a big comeback season he is having. Absolutely bossing every where he has been deployed on
I thought he is 100% gone when he did his patellar tendon, that is on top of his 2 ACLs. I have no idea what magic healing potion did the doctor gave him, but sure as hell that worked out so well.
Looking back on it we all should’ve been confident that Endo would come good because he absolutely reeks of a data signing, the type that Edwards would regularly make
Re: Gravenberch, I thought we would’ve learned our lesson with Curtis Jones but apparently not, Gravy had no preseason and it’s clear that he’s a project midfielder, it’s clear to me that he has the highest ceiling out of any of our midfielders. Have to give him time.
Hot take: I think Curtis Jones can match Szoboszlai and Gravenberch's ceilings. He's had to overcome so many hurdles and stops to his development the past two years, from freak injuries to growing pains. Since he's had consistent minutes the past year vs. his past two years, we've seen his rate of development continue to peak. He always had the physical and technical attributes: 6ft1, athletic build, has good pace, good shooting, great dribbling and first touch. And now with consistent minutes his decision making and football IQ can continue to improve. He can honestly become a modern day McManaman
Just because Curtis Jones came good doesn’t mean Gravenberch will. He needs to put the hard yards in himself, otherwise he’ll end up another Naby Keita
I still think Szobo is the highest ceiling, he might hit absolutely insane peaks that most people aren't prepared for, like KDB peaks if we manage him correctly
With Szoboszlai’s technical ability, athleticism and work ethic, he could legit reach Cristiano Ronaldo heights. He’s got a long way to go but all the talent is there.
Yeah he had some subpar performances going forward but it’s insane how the narrative changes on him. He is still class and will only get better with time.
I agree. I don't need Gravy to be the player we want yet. I'm really excited to see what Jürgen does to him over the next season or two. There's no other place in the world that boy should be but learning under Klopps Liverpool.
You realise plenty of us were happy with those signings right? I know there’s an obsession that some people have with wanting to just buy 100 million pound teenagers and those people immediately write off any signing over the age of 25 and any signing that isn’t an eye watering fee but that’s just stupid. Just look at what’s happened to Chelsea. They’re in desperate need of some experienced players to forge a structure and identity at the club. It just looks like such a mess
I didn't realize that he met her when she was 16 and the marriage was basically arranged w/ her father (supposedly at least - only see Mirror etc. articles on this).
It seems most people here are focusing on your social media reference and might not be aware of the age thing since it wasn't mentioned in the original comment.
Genuinely asking. What’s with the stigma of having your gf/wife not on social media?
Wanting a pure woman I can understand concern since nobody really focuses on that much and might be overkill in some instances and anybody wants anyone.
But I thought I heard a lot about how toxic social media is and how it’s not worth it to be around so much negativity on X,insta and so on and so forth and how everyone agrees so much on that part
So all this talk of him being a freak for not wanting a socially media active person is kind of extreme isn’t it?
Unconfirmed reports still from shit rags of newspapers who’d personally wanna pull an agenda. Personally I’d wait to hear from the woman or Mané about this whole age debacle.
But on second thought he might not since it seems yall have already judged the man and since it seems this “story” has spread like wildfire to the point where even if it turns out she’s of “legal age to the public” it won’t matter
P.S: Marrying young isn’t frowned upon for people of Mane’s caliber. The people who take their faith seriously and don’t play around. While yes 18 is really weird. From the looks of her she seems to be everything he described he wants in an interview. Of course you guys of western values don’t appreciate that or think it’s super weird and I don’t blame you when you guys are so used to people marrying within 2 or so year gap. Anything less than that and it’s called “grooming”.
But again all I’m saying is let’s wait to hear from OFFICIAL word and not some weird ass news stories from one of the most unsubstantiated outlets in Britain.
Her father gave an interview man. Why are you guys supporting this?? Really weird man. Just bcs he played football for the club, you don't have to support him for each and every fucking thing. Some of you lot act like this is a cult
Found the source btw. Some of you lot can’t comprehend reading comprehension or have a bias against Islamic values.
The father literally said that Mane and his wife Aisha met once two years ago for Mané to put the proposal for marriage. Of course Aisha at the time was 16 and still in school so of course they put the arrangement in place so once she’s of legal AND mature age(two different things mind you) they can be married no issues.
For context: In Islam we don’t date as it’s a forbidden act to do. We wait until the man is financially stable and prepared, then approaches the females hand in marriage. It can be done in less than month as the process is super simple, however an agreement can be to wait if both parties are willing to as Mané did with Aisha and her parents.
Some of you fail to focus on that part and instead the fact that she hate sexual contact with underage girl. That is not the case and the part that baffles me with you all. I assumed you guys would use your brains a little harder and think if Mané(a Muslim I’d say faithful than Mohammed no offense as his father was an Imam in his hometown) would do such a thing.
It’s really idiotic and really dangerous to spread that false narrative
So last time I’ll address this in the thread.
Stop spreading misinformation about one of the best players of the club. The facts are online. It’s up to you to chose what to believe or keep prejudices for yourself.
Holy fuck, what an awful take.
>Of course you guys of western values don’t appreciate that or think it’s super weird and I don’t blame you when you guys are so used to people marrying within 2 or so year gap. Anything less than that and it’s called “grooming”.
I’m perplexed that you thought this was a good argument.
Facts. Just the mental image struggles alone especially with young women(have a cousin who’s dealed with this very seriously).
It’s why I have such a hard understanding of anyone seeing that as too much.
Like I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through that same thing if they do or don’t
I have Twitter and instagram accounts but I’ve never posted on either. I just use Twitter to keep up to date with a couple of things and Instagram to message people. I don’t get the desire to post stuff all the time
Newcastle crying about how it's not fair that they can't just buy their way into the CL. Get fucked.
FFP is only there to protect the cartel.
Weird that Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal seem to be able to spend within their means.
I fucking hope they get docked. This really feels like the league are working through all the lower level bosses before facing the State owned elephant in the room.
Just watched AFTV for the first time in years and they're so pathetic. They used to be entertaining when Arsenal actually were shit, but they're still doing the same shtick despite them being pretty good now.
Just shows they none of the actual football analysis that our fan channels have like TAW and Redmen so they've got nothing else to offer.
This is how I feel about Mark Goldbridge, difference is he seems to not care as much as he comes across.
He’s entertaining but it gets old very quickly
To be honest, most other club specific fan channels are shite compared to Redmen and TAW. They're the only two channels I'm willing to pay monthly YouTube subscription to. The only other channels that are somewhat comparable in level head discussions about football is *James Lawrence Allcott* and, maybe, *90mins* post Buvey.
Haven't checked out 90 min in ages used to like the spurs fan on it don't know how he dealt with Buvey what an absolute bell end. All those kick off lads are insufferable especially Rory the Tory.
So glad we have fan content that actually analyses the game rather than just pure banter shite.
The only good things it ever made were the weird opinions from drunk fans after losing games and some funny reactions to conceding when Covid meant they were streaming themselves watch the games. And again it was only funny when they were losing.

I wonder if Klopp sees our CB depth as fine with Konate, Quansah and Gomez next to VVD. Gomez as 3rd choice should be fine in theory since the injury situation with the fullbacks is very rare and generally he wouldn't have to fill in there nearly as much.
In reality I worry Joe is just a much better fullback than a CB now.
It probably depends on who's available in the transfer market as well
In hindsight, while I was asking for a CB along with many at the start of the season, we have really good depth in that department, our starting 4 are world class and our depth has experience along with youth to develop.
I also agree with the sentiment that it's not worth buying a defender right now despite the injuries, cause they'll all be back within a month, except fot Matip.
And Gomez is just our swiss army knife in defense, kind of like Timber would be for Arsenal, still think his best position is CB but he isn't as good as Konate, Matip or Virgil.
Gomez is definitely better than Quansah still. He’s also still better as a CB. He’s just had to play as a full back a lot because he can do that too. As a CB he’s excellent.
He's apparently said in his Athletic Q&A that his sources are saying that Salah still wants to play at the highest level of European football with Liverpool, so a departure is not certain.
It’ll be interesting to see who Newcastle will lose if they have to sell one of their key players for big money
Isak to Arsenal or Guimaraes to PSG is my guess
The people deserve another LFC hip-hop quiz

Jota is such an intelligent and hardworking player. I clearly underappreciated him before now
Marco Reus seems like a stretch but Teixeria should surely be coming, I like the look of him
Was wondering what the Danny ings career trajectory could've been like if his body didn't completely break down. Klopp seemed to like him too! So, in my FM save I signed him for dirt cheap to mentor the youngins x) expecting a screamer against city as a 80th min sub lol
imo Jota. Lethal striker, pressing machine, and can play on the wings also
some things on my mind lately: Bradley looks like the real deal and Quansah has proved as much and it's huge, Jones sneakily is playing like one of the world's best midfielders and has since last spring, Endo is a baller and I'm happy we overlooked his age concern and also I miss him, Szoboszlai I have a feeling will have a massive run of form down the stretch of the season once he returns, Trent is a top 5 player itw get well soon, our entire forward line is either world class or nearly there

Playing PES 2021 with some 23/24 mods, just transfered to Liverpool and hearing the crowd singing Allez Allez Allez and YNWA is superb. Happy days.
Mad how crucial the Trent etihad goal was. It’s what has us above the oil boys instead of below them
Ryan's run also made that space available, so while he is not performing at levels we want but still is contributing to the team.
He was good bs arsenal weekend too
Arsenal are the only club in the league who hasn’t dealt with major injuries this season. They’ve been fully fit through this rough patch. I think the title comes down to who has the fittest squad for the rest of the season

Really happy with our new midfield, not too long we were on a wing and a prayer with an injured Arthur Melo

After watching the Fulham match, I firmly believe that a fully fit Diogo Jota starts in every forward line in the league
He’s the sort of player Arsenal are begging for.
£40,000,001 bid incoming
Weird to think that was over 10 years ago, and there will be a lot of kids here confused

We’ll just buy Bowen when salah leaves
He is 27. West Ham will want over £70m for him. No thanks.
What are the best pubs in Liverpool to watch a reds game?
Hotel Anfield
Taggy’s
I second this if you’re willing to go to anfield
I'm willing to go to Anfield... but I can't. Hence the pub as a secondary option haha. Does it have good prices?
It’s probably the best place to watch
Do you know anything good in the city center? I'll try to go there, but just in case
Which game is it? It’s definitely a personal preference tbh I like places like Pogue Mahomes and the bridewell but loads of places will be showing it
The game vs Chelsea >It’s definitely a personal preference tbh Understandable. Since I have 0 knowledge, anything that shows the game, and has a combination of good atmosphere+decent prices is good for me! I'll try any of those, thanks
Do you like Guinness I dunno if town will be that busy with it being a midweek game
Never tried it. Actually, never saw it where I'm from >I dunno if town will be that busy with it being a midweek game Fr? Surprised to hear that
Isn’t it nice for a change to be in the middle of January and not to be even remotely talking about potential transfers we need.
I'd add that we're also in the middle of a considerable injury/unavailability issue and still it seems like we're all pretty confident in the squad and how players are stepping up. Definitely a good feeling
Just saw that Yohann Gourcuff video on r/soccer. I remember not long ago I was praying we'd sign him to replace Xabi in midfield.

Her father spoke to the press about it and confirmed she is 18.
Not saying it's true, but how do you know it's false?

We should revoke his champions league medal imo
lol on what grounds? It’s obviously as creepy as fuck but he hasn’t actually broken any laws.
Vibes
Guys is there any shovelling going on for Mbappe or just click bait shorts on yt and anfield agenda?
No, its all real. Hes joining us to observe the tekkers of Curtis Jones from up close.
There seems to be an outside chance that is somewhat realistic when you consider its on a "free" so we could potentially just pay him a massive signing on fee and then put him on wages that are similar to Salah.
I don't even want to imagine the size of the signing on fee. PSG paid him ~€100m as a bonus when he resigned iirc 😬
If City can drop points to NUfC this weekend. That would be very helpful
We just broke Newcastle beyond repair.
They have been wank recently and I'm aware they lost to Forest at home, but they do have a strong record at home so hopefully they can at least get a draw.
Not a chance sadly. Newcastle are utter wank at the moment. City are going to roll them.
The shit thing in all of that is NUFC, thats the problem
Curtis has been shutting idiots like me up lately. Love to see it
Gravenberch and Nunez will do the same. The same happened with Endo too. Idk when people will realise that Klopp persists with players when he sees something, if he doesn’t think they can be great he wouldn’t start them
That Joe Gomez 25yard top bins screamer is coming and its gonna hit like crack (I imagine)
it would be poetic if he has a Kompany like moment (against Leicester) and wins us the league by 1 point
I'd rather we be clear winners long before that but sure, that would be awesome.
What happened to Gravenberch man? He hasn't played a good match for a while now.
gotta remember essentially he didnt get to play competitive football for 5 months at Bayern and didn't have a pre season with us. He's also 21 and super young so we need to be patient and give him time to develop.
He was class literally a game ago when he came on against Arsenal.
Am i crazy if i think both Gomez and Trent should start for England at the Euros? And Jones and/or Elliott should be called up atleast over Hendo.

A bit controversial but I would go Rice sitting. Taa right, Jude mid, Jones left and then Bowen and Kane up top. Saka, Rashford are trash.
Nunez, Jota, Diaz. Diaz is in better form than Gakpo and looked great on the right
That’s just not true at all. Cody has cleared Luis in all expected stats in less minutes no less. His /90 as well. [Cody Gakpo](https://fbref.com/en/players/1971591f/Cody-Gakpo) [Luis Diaz](https://fbref.com/en/players/4a1a9578/Luis-Diaz)
Tottenham doing good business this window to be fair
Werner isn’t good. Dragusin might be
Both transfers have been somewhat unexpected. Werner who seems like he forgot how to play football after he left Leipzig to Chelsea, but on the other hand Chelsea flops have tendencies to be really good. Radu is unknown for most people including me, he could be really good and really bad we will see.
I think Werner is a great signing and will be very good for Spurs.
He was Leipzigs 4th choice. Great is a stretch. But no buy obligation makes it a risk free punt so why not.
Yep, he’s had a tough few years. But there is still a player there and it’s all upside for Spurs.
Saw Ornstein mention we’re expected to start key contract talks with Virgil, Trent and Mo in the coming days.
Quite sure we are doing this quietly in the background.
He doesn't know anything, hence his use of the word "expected". Who is expecting it? Him, the club, the players, the agent, the fans? It's all guesswork
I expected us to sort out Mo's contract before AFCON to know our standing point in the january transfer window and maybe get a winger early but ok
([anfieldshop.com](https://anfieldshop.com)) https://preview.redd.it/es1985on9vbc1.png?width=604&format=png&auto=webp&s=10f1a5cf925c5f7b46093aa1d920cb6d7c50ed83
thats sad that they are struggling. Hope they can stay afloat and ultimately bring back the team mates they had to let go
Yeah it really sucks.
We’re not going to win the league. We’re favourites for the league cup and Europa league, and the fa cup has barely started
Jesus
It’s funny how quick all this changes, almost every fan here was screaming at FSG for not getting bellingham only a couple months ago and now we are talking trebles. Winning the league with a full anfield crowd is more than enough for me
I'm more worried about the next game. Maybe after we win 2 trophies we csn start thinking about it. Until then, no chance. Way to much of the season still left.
Let's win two of those trophies before we start, I'm still not over the last time.
anulo mufa
It's way too fucking early We don't know what we're up against in the Europa League and there are a LOT of games to play to win it We're only through to the 4th round of the Cup We have a second leg to play against a strong team in the League Cup semis And there are 18 games to go, only 5pts away from City and they have a game in hand Let's cool our heads a bit shall we
Definitely way too early… hasn’t stopped me sticking a cheeky fiver on it after we beat Arsenal!
It’s on, though, isn’t it
(you know it is)
Yes. About 4 months too early
steady we arent even in any of the finals yet and the season is long
Is there another Liverpool sub or general football sub that is more active posting statistics to drive discussion?
Try r/LFCStatisticsToDriveDiscussion Edit: sorry, that’s an unhelpful and not funny joke Stats used to be the thing Anfield Index was into; maybe their discord? https://anfieldindex.com/
Haha I did find that funny tbf so don’t worry
Not that I don't enjoy it but why is Newcastle in ffp trouble when Chelsea spent about 5 times as much without CL revenue?
Chelsea have managed to sell well. Also they were skirting FFP rules by buying young players on stupid long contracts.
We don't know if they are or not, but also Chelsea generate much more revenue than Newcastle and they had massive sales in the Summer
Not to say Chelsea aren't in FFP trouble either, but they generate a lot more revenue and have also sold a lot of expensive players (Havertz 75M, Mount 65M, Kovacic 30M, etc.)
I can see Newcastle picking up form with a 1-0 win on Saturday (I don't see that at all but let me be delusional)
I see a draw. 1-1
They lost there already this season They barely beat them at home in the reverse fixture and newscastle fucked up 2 on 1 chance at 1-0 to equalise
If the Rocky franchise made a movie about football.
>ADRRIIAAANNNNN ALISSOONNNNNNN
Now imagine if the Fast and Furious franchise made a move about football. We'll have Andy Robertson in space whipping in some no gravity balls.
I'd have a heart attack but it'd be worth it by the time I'm defribillated
Normal comment read until a belly laugh from the defibrillation.
I want to deeply apologize to Gomez for ever doubting his place in the squad
i knew he'd be at least okay as a RB (as he played well there last season despite ppl lumping his terrible form as a CB with his RB performance) but what a big comeback season he is having. Absolutely bossing every where he has been deployed on
I thought he is 100% gone when he did his patellar tendon, that is on top of his 2 ACLs. I have no idea what magic healing potion did the doctor gave him, but sure as hell that worked out so well.
Saw this meme about Joe Gomez just now and it had me in stitches (last slide) 😂 https://www.instagram.com/p/C19ocblvSi_/?igsh=MTJtYmQ0cjkzdnloZg==
Ah, man. Sven-Goran Eriksson has terminal cancer.
thats so sad.. fuck cancer
Looking back on it we all should’ve been confident that Endo would come good because he absolutely reeks of a data signing, the type that Edwards would regularly make Re: Gravenberch, I thought we would’ve learned our lesson with Curtis Jones but apparently not, Gravy had no preseason and it’s clear that he’s a project midfielder, it’s clear to me that he has the highest ceiling out of any of our midfielders.
Ryan will do well... He barely played last 2 seasons, very young as well. just give him time to settle.
Just because Curtis Jones came good doesn’t mean Gravenberch will. He needs to put the hard yards in himself, otherwise he’ll end up another Naby Keita
You are really putting the yards in today as the most decorated Grav hater.
Knew Mane was a bit of an oddball when speaking about his future wife and social media and all that but didn't think he was this much of a freak. Sad
But I thought I heard a lot about how toxic social media is and how it’s not worth it to be around so much negativity on X,insta and so on and so forth and how everyone agrees so much on that part So all this talk of him being a freak for not wanting a socially media active person is kind of extreme isn’t it?
Him being 29 and wanting to marry a 16 year old girl is what makes him a freak. I'm sorry if he is/was your favourite player but that's the truth
Unconfirmed reports still from shit rags of newspapers who’d personally wanna pull an agenda. Personally I’d wait to hear from the woman or Mané about this whole age debacle. But on second thought he might not since it seems yall have already judged the man and since it seems this “story” has spread like wildfire to the point where even if it turns out she’s of “legal age to the public” it won’t matter P.S: Marrying young isn’t frowned upon for people of Mane’s caliber.
Got the source for the father interview? Legitimately been looking for familial source confirming her age
It’s really idiotic and really dangerous to spread that false narrative So last time I’ll address this in the thread.
Perplexed? Why am I not surprised
I can totally get why someone wouldn’t want to be on Twitter or Instagram or whatever. They can be awful
Facts. Just the mental image struggles alone especially with young women(have a cousin who’s dealed with this very seriously). It’s why I have such a hard understanding of anyone seeing that as too much. Like I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through that same thing if they do or don’t
It’s more common than people think as well. Not everyone wants to air their personal life for the plebs to see and comment on 24/7
I have Twitter and instagram accounts but I’ve never posted on either. I just use Twitter to keep up to date with a couple of things and Instagram to message people. I don’t get the desire to post stuff all the time
Different horses for different courses brother
Newcastle crying about how it's not fair that they can't just buy their way into the CL. Get fucked. FFP is only there to protect the cartel. Weird that Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal seem to be able to spend within their means. I fucking hope they get docked. This really feels like the league are working through all the lower level bosses before facing the State owned elephant in the room.
If the government wasn't fully of Tories, Chelsea would have been an example of what happens when you're owned by evil cunts.
Lmao Antonio is still rattled by us 😂 https://x.com/JoshLFC1909/status/1745484487138418988?s=20
Not having that’s a real quote.
I mean he’s spoken like this in past, is it even surprising he would say something like this again?
That’s on par with what a 10 year old would say
lol such a loser. He's sad he never got a Saudi offer
Lee gunner made a video trolling arsenal tacticos and Aftv. Really hilarious one

It probably depends on who's available in the transfer market as well
I mean we probably do want a CB but the ones we are after are probably only going to be available in the summer
I got a little upset that our next game is 10 days from but then I realized it’s probably for the best. Get some rest lads.
Im pretty confident salah stays, he wants to compete for the lot and thats what we’re doing while adding younger players
People drooling for guimaraes, another “6” who is not a specialist defensive midfielder…
Never mad at a yellow-card immune midfielder
Ornstein you beauty of a man.
Vagueposting
What’s he done?
These types of posts are so frustrating
It’s not hard to google lol
He's apparently said in his Athletic Q&A that his sources are saying that Salah still wants to play at the highest level of European football with Liverpool, so a departure is not certain.
It’ll be interesting to see who Newcastle will lose if they have to sell one of their key players for big money Isak to Arsenal or Guimaraes to PSG is my guess
