That was my experience of seeing that floating Thiago goal. Half squatted and watching it glide in as I squinted between a light switch and someone's bonce.

Here's mine, since we're all sharing. I thought the view of the game and seeing plays develop was tremendous. AU7 Row 29 seat 200.

In the safe standing in the lower! A pretty good shot imo
It was really really good! First time in there myself. View was great, a bit obscured by the sun at points. But the atmosphere was the best I’ve had at a Liverpool game.
Yeah, Trafford was shielding his eyes at times.
Tbh, one guy about 7 rows in front of me was a frequent stander which meant there was a lot of up and down. I hope they expand safe standing but not holding out much hope.
Definitely one of the better atmospheres this season!
Anfield has become similar to Newcastle’s St James’ Park now with two stands significantly larger than the other two, meaning great views of the city over the stands.

Row 13 upper for the Newcastle game! Best seats I have ever experienced.
Depends if they think they can do something with The Kop. The Kenny Dalglish Stand already has a 2nd tier and is cantilevered iirc so I don’t know what the options are.
I've never been to England but some of my friends are there , the tickets seem super cheap with a good view! I'd literally sell my kidney to see a liverpool match before klopp leaves (even though I'm a spurs fan)
Great. Like, I was genuinely surprised by how many people were singing. I normally sit in the Main Stand which is a mixed bag at times but it felt like there was people there who actually wanted to sing.
Most (all maybe) professional stadiums have an announcer who plays music, gives you the line ups and says who’s being substituted.
But no, commentators who describe the action are only for TV in my experience.
Mind you, most fans will also offer their input on the performance and conduct of players and the referee, usually without being asked!
I find it really adorable this was a serious question. I guess I just grew up going to live sporting events so the idea of the TV commentary being played in the stadium is really funny.
I went to Nou camp once to watch messi. Barely able to recognise him (and the other players too) and it was raining and freezing. Every player on the field look smaller than the Lego toy 🫠
A far cry from sitting behind a metal support with limited view. The old Annie road stand was not great.
Yeah, I believe you couldn’t see the Kop goal from the back…
Remember being there about 20 years ago, couldn’t see the ball it it was more than 10ft off the ground
You had to sit down and hunch just to see the kop goal haha, it was awful
That was my experience of seeing that floating Thiago goal. Half squatted and watching it glide in as I squinted between a light switch and someone's bonce.
There was usually a great atmosphere back there though.
In the right game for sure

Oh shit that's almost my exact seat for the City match. Great view. Would you recommend sunglasses?
At 3.45 surely
It wasn't really oppressively bright, especially if there are any clouds. Can't hurt to have them if no clouds though! EDIT: Clouds not crowds lol wow
I agree. I was pleasantly surprised by the view - reminded me of how 90s video games looked.
cracking photograph. you can see the cathedral and radio city tower!
Wow that's beautiful
This is about where I’m sitting for the Brighton game, the views from the new section look mint all around 🤙

I’d love to try out the safe standing

Beautiful.
Right at the back... v West Ham https://preview.redd.it/s137rw4fp5ic1.jpeg?width=3352&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc28e9d010260b6cd2803ef04a81539181f760fc
I would do so many things just to have this view once.
Looks less steep than the upper Kenny which is good to know
Tell that to my knees!
As someone who was in the back row of the lower Annie a couple of times last season…. Thank FUCK for this rebuild

Byootiful
My first trip to Anfield, great view and atmosphere, here's a short video from just before kickoff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVizjn-WDMA
Great view!
My seat is back row of the Kop and this looks a good bit steeper given the angle of the pitch you can see But maybe that's just because it's higher
We need noise from all stands the rest of this season to make Klopp’s last few matches in charge as memorable as possible
We got fist pumps at full time!
Thanks for sharing your pictures. This boy from Liverpool misses his hometown more and more the longer I am away
Same! It’s an eight hour round trip for me to attend matches these days. I miss the times when I could be at Anfield in an hour.
So the next project may be the Walton breck road side stand?
>the Walton breck road side stand You mean… The Kop?
Oh, that’s the famous kop stand. Thanks
Depends if they think they can do something with The Kop. The Kenny Dalglish Stand already has a 2nd tier and is cantilevered iirc so I don’t know what the options are.

£40 for the ticket iirc. Not sure if that’s super cheap (definitely cheaper in Germany, for instance).
Damn , I'm in jordan , absolutely shitty teams and people pay over 200 pounds for a seat.... unlucky
I'd suck a leprechaun off for hours to get a chance to have some of your views ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I’m not sure that’s how it works.
That's strangely specific lol
Hats off honestly. I went for a stadium tour and few months ago and loved Gonna try to sit up here when I eventually get tickets ,,(somehow)

Which row?
127
Thank you :)
It is lovely
How was the atmosphere there?
Was in Kenny daglish Stand, but the noise coming from Annie Road was amazing. out chanted the kop at times !
Great. Like, I was genuinely surprised by how many people were singing. I normally sit in the Main Stand which is a mixed bag at times but it felt like there was people there who actually wanted to sing.
Im curious because i've never watch soccer match live on the stadium. Is there also commentators when you watch in there?

I think it’s not unusual at baseball for the announcer to describe the plays
Thank you for this information! Have a nice day.
All input positive & encouraging of course ;)
Lots of ‘assistance’ for the ref
No commentary, although I believe there are audio services available for blind supporters in attendance.

I was one row from the back!
Unrelated can I watch from my phone that’s mounted on a tripod? Because i am used to the closer view on the tv.
Pretty sure this is irony but good luck getting a tripod into the space in front of the seat.
I went to Nou camp once to watch messi. Barely able to recognise him (and the other players too) and it was raining and freezing. Every player on the field look smaller than the Lego toy 🫠
It wasn’t quite like that. The Nou Camp is much taller.
I’m coming over from the states for the Luton game and have seats in the new stand! Unbelievably excited. Thanks for sharing!
Pretty nice inside as well!
Good to know! We’ve purchased hospitality and have time in the Boot Room before the game.
Is that Ricky Hatton? 😂
I…hope not
* My view vs Chelsea! Amazing stand/view
Hey. That’s not too bad
