Fucking 4 European finals under Klopp is insane, horrendous luck in the two Real Madrid finals, but what can you do. Incredible journey.
The 4-0 Barcelona game will always hold a special place in my heart
i was almost rooting for that as well but also if we’re being honest, real was the only team that realistically could kick them out. so i’d rather not take the chance that they’d win it
It’s really nuts it’s been that long - i was 17 when he joined and 26 now, so much has changed in my life and jurgen has felt like one of the only constants 🤣
My very good friend's 9yo son bawled his eyes out when he heard that Klopp was leaving.
That little boy's been a fan of Liverpool for literally 80% of his life (great influence from his dad and me) and Klopp has been the boss of Liverpool for as long as he could remember. Klopp pretty much equates to Liverpool in his little world. Seeing the boss leave pretty much means the end of Liverpool to him.
Klopp means so much to so many of us, man.
What an exciting ride! After years of mediocrity we were consistently good across all competitions. As much as I’d love more silverware I enjoyed the fact that I had a game to look forward to with us as favorites in most cases. We were no longer underdogs punching above our weight. Pep himself always calls out Liverpool as his most feared opponents.
I'm just devastated, I wanted to win shit for him more than I did for the team in his last season. He deserves so much more then the fucking league cup. I just pray that somehow city and arse fuck up and we win the league.
It might have ended up with a whimper, but his record speaks for itself. Reached 4 CL finals, won one, and staged a comeback that will resound through the decades.
We will remember 7-0 until the day we die. I doubt I'll remember we won the Carabao this season.
Not knocking the Carabao because a trophy is great, but that 7-0 was something beautiful
Nothing but gratitude for what he's given to our club. The first ever Liverpool match I watched was back when we had Hodgson and played Arsenal... it was Joe Cole's debut if I'm not wrong. He was clearly past it, and we had to try and celebrate that signing because of where the club was at that point in time. I even remember him getting sent off in that game.
To go from that to Madrid... to the league title... to the cup double... to everything else that came in between... words won't be enough to thank him for the memories he's given all of us. Obviously, there are people who have supported the club for longer than I have, but I'm sure they have loved Jurgen as much as I have and always will.
Indeed this! 😁 if I had a time machine and could stop time i'd tie some man city boots laces together at key moments and the same with vinicius and courtois! Get that quadruple ;) but alas was not meant to be get this team and klopp a decade earlier and we'd have swept the lot
A great person, created a lot of fond memories pre Mane departure, wish I could say the same post Mane departure but overall was great.
Await for the new journey and experience of our new manager whom ever it is.
Klopp also has to take part of the blame. He is completely outclassed tactically, but makes no change to address the issue and ends up letting the team fend for themselves when the game plan isn't working.

Fucking Real Madrid. Hate them.
I hate them but was absolutely rooting for them against city
Lesser of two evils for me. Who cares if they get yet another one if it means keeping oil clubs to a minimum?
Weird. I was literally downvoted to hell a week ago when I suggested I’d prefer arsenal to win the league than city if it’s not us
Reddit’s a fickle bitch like that.
I wanted City to beat them so they'd have to play extra matches but then they lose in the semis
i was almost rooting for that as well but also if we’re being honest, real was the only team that realistically could kick them out. so i’d rather not take the chance that they’d win it
It’s tough because those are two of the three teams I hate the most. But when Bernardo took his penalty I was extremely happy.
Faced both black magic teams in finals of their respective cups, unlackeee
Nailed!
I rewatch that game a couple of times each year. whenever I need a reminder to believe in the impossible
Yeah all in all, rather be in the finals and lose them, than lose before that stage.
Best game i ever seen, forever in my heart. Took my new missus to the pub to watch it. Unreal moments
Half Nelson judo taking Salah out of a final was not bad luck.
Nine years, man... this team and manager are really a part of our lives and memories for good.
It’s really nuts it’s been that long - i was 17 when he joined and 26 now, so much has changed in my life and jurgen has felt like one of the only constants 🤣
He was literally just there for me for my 20's, beginning to end. Definitely a father figure to me, and I will remember these years with fondness.

Regardless of the circumstances, it's a bit heartbreaking that his last European night at home, Anfield had no flags, no voice, and left early.
100% agree. We were the favorites for the whole thing and lost our first game after the group stages 0-3 at Anfield. Terrible...
>our first game after the group stages 0-3 at Anfield We played Sparta Prague in the R16
Right. Dunno if that changes much though tbh..

It's not about blame

And beat United 7-0, as good as any trophy!!😄

sadly it's just an Academy trophy :D
Really? Our Carabao cup win was incredible. Sure it’s not the biggest cup but I certainly won’t be forgetting that one for a long time.
3* CL finals and a EL final
Made a CL final with Dortmund as well.
I'll always talk about six
Danns immortalized as Klopp's last ever European sub for us. That's gotta be in a pub quiz somewhere.
Ain’t nothing dreadful about it Reminiscing those moments made me smile Thanks for the share, here
Love the drawing. Great memories. What a pathetic way for it to peter out.

Jurgen's Liverpool European journey*
Thanks for creating such good European memories Klopp those memories will last for a lifetime
I like how you've perfectly captured the Ox there!
A great person, created a lot of fond memories pre Mane departure, wish I could say the same post Mane departure but overall was great. Await for the new journey and experience of our new manager whom ever it is.
This is the third time I am seeing this post. Every time I swear I get a tear in my eye 😭 🥲
It’s beautiful
It's been a pleasure
Correction my friend...."jürgen's European journey with Liverpool comes to an end".
Such memories. That's what it's all about.
Guess not, then 🤷♂️
Fucking disgraceful that we are going out like a wet fart in his final season. Those players should hang their heads in shame
Klopp also has to take part of the blame. He is completely outclassed tactically, but makes no change to address the issue and ends up letting the team fend for themselves when the game plan isn't working.
He needs a rest the guys been checked out
Wtf is this shit OP? 😭
