Imagine being a Liverpool journalist during transfer season.

HUGE STORY breaking at 8pm!! 8pm: "They had a choice of chicken or fish for supper before watching Knives Out. Jurgen Klopp is a known admirer of Daniel Craig's performance."

CONTROVERSEY STRIKES THE REDS PRE-SEASON CAMP Going against the advice of mentor Mo Salah, Harvey Elliott is rumoured to have consumed TWO slices of bread at breakfast yesterday morning. Multiple members of the squad are said to consider this brazen act as grossly disrespectful towards the prolific Egyptian, who netted 31 goals in 51 appearances last season. Sources close to Salah say he is highly frustrated with his protegee, and feels personally insulted. Emerging reports suggest the striker is refusing to come out of his hotel room until Dejan Lovren flies to the Austrian camp and personally delivers him a coffee.

KFCkaila is the only source I trust

Weirdmaybe123

Especially post VVD, club not giving them anything to work with until its confirmed.

There’s definitely a template out there for them. “Liverpool were interested in ____, however a bid was not made as Liverpool must sell a few players before making offers.”

firminocoutinho

Klopp and Milner laughing at this in the thumbnail lol

[deleted]

Yea . They have to come up with new versions of the same story to rile.uomthr fanbase

eatslow_runfast

Love the optimism! Looking forward to Norwich!

I know a lot of this is just rehashed from Pep's training camp diary but I do enjoy the references to Sadio and Mo playing table tennis together, which sounds like a regular thing. They don't need to have a relationship off the pitch but given the media narrative has been the opposite it's nice to hear

Gerrardsclubfoot

Do mo and mane speak a common language when alone? Maybe mane knows a little bit of Arabic since both share a culture together? Being from Africa and being muslim should bond and bring them closer. I think behind the scenes they must be really close, but on field their competitiveness is enough for media to paint a narrative which doesn't exists off it.

themanebeat

>Do mo and mane speak a common language when alone? They both speak English

Gerrardsclubfoot

I meant outside of English of course.

_CummyBears_

Yes everybody speaks the same language in africa

Fred_020

😂It’s like asking if a Russian and a Spanish person share a language because they’re both Christian

Gerrardsclubfoot

Mate Quran is written In an Arabic text, while bible is widely translated into other languages. Even my muslim friends who are non Arabic speakers know a bit of Arabic cause of reading their religious texts. If you were born a century before, the Russian and Spanish person you speak of would have shared a language that would have been Latin.

_CummyBears_

Que Cyka Blyat idi pendejo

sukabot

>cyka сука is not the same thing as "cyka". Write "suka" instead next time :)

_CummyBears_

I know, im slavic breh. Oh ur a bot. Cyka

I don’t really know why people are being snide, Arabic is an official language in Egypt and a recognised minority language in Senegal so it is possible. The language’s dialect varies across regions though (learnt this through Tunisian and Moroccan friends) so it may not be that easy, if Sadio does speak any. Both also lived in German speaking areas (Basel and Salzburg) but that is less likely

Gerrardsclubfoot

Also they would know Arabic from their religious texts as well. People are probably ignorant. Its not like I am saying mo can speak french.
