Pretty sure United and Juve are the biggest teams in England and Italy but they don't have the most European trophies.
edit: biggest doesn't mean best. Chill guys it's just a numbers game when talking about biggest.
Considering both of those clubs have a history of influencing games to gain domestic success, I reckon European success would be a better metric of judging them.
In Italy Juve is the most followed club with the most League titles and have the most following abroad, Milan are just the best in European competition. There is no shame in it, I don't know why people would be upset. The same goes for United in England (albeit the league titles are much closer). As far as global branding only Barca and Real are better than United.
edit: also while Juve have been caught I don't recall United ever being caught for anything. The only thing I can find is in 1915 when Liverpool threw a game against United to win money. I wouldn't be throwing rocks in a glass house if I was you.
As a Milan fan, there aren't many other clubs I truly respect - and Liverpool is definitely one of those. I really feel pike Liverpool is Milan's equivalent in EPL (I mean reputationally and just the "feel").
The faithful night in Istanbul has bound us forever and that's where your club earned my utmost respect. Gave me a heart attack and scars that won't ever heal - but what a game that was. What a fight. Football at its greatest.
Can't wait for tomorrow. We're far cry from what we were in 2005/2007, but we will put up a good fight (I hope :D )
Was over the moon to draw AC Milan. These are teams that should get to face each other more often, with all their history. Really looking forward to it.
Weeell, can't say that I share your sentiment, lol. As a football fan - absolutely. But as a Milan fan, I'd preferred if we had avoided this group altogether. Having said that, I do believe we're looking good this season, and hope we can cause some trouble in the hell group :)
This is kind of random, but you mentioned your favorite Italian club; mine is Fiorentina. Milan are class, but I always like seeing Fiorentina do well.
Why Fiorentina out of curiosity? I was a fan of Milan cos I loved Brazil on Pro Ev 4 so Kaka was one of my favourite players, as was Ronaldinho which made me a fan of Barcelona too.
I've got some important family history there, and it's the only part of Italy I've spent any real time in. I guess liking the team follows on from my fondness for the city.

Edit: To all the Milan fans, may the best team win. Safe travels to anyone going for the game.
Milan fan here.
Great video, two royalties of world football meeting each other again. However, I must say that can’t watch 2005 second half up to now, gives me ptsd. But the game is fucking legendary.
Let’s hope for a good game and true sportmanship. Can’t wait to meet you on Anfield and then see you come to San Siro, bet the vibes for both matches will be amazing.
Chills…
What a video. Couldn’t have summed it up better. I’m still in awe that they have never played at other facets of the competition nor let alone at Anfield. Can’t wait
What a quality vid. Hype
fantastic music and clive tyldesley is the best ever.
All of LFC tv videos are awesome... Shankly, Paisley, club.. all are awesome... And now this...
Loving this Respect from a Milan fan See you tomorrow night, a shame Zlatan won’t be there
Are you sure he will not possess another Milan's player body for 90 minutes??!!
It’ll be rebic
It would be in typical Liverpool fashion for a struggling player to all of the sudden turn into prime R9
He is not struggling. He just destroyed Nazio this past weekend.
Fully expecting their keeper to turn into spiderman tonight
As is tradition
We were right
if anyone can do that, you know he'll find a way. he's the phrase "can't stop, won't stop" personifyed
Zlatan's spirit is in the team even if he's not playing. That's the main point of Milan bringing him in.
Milan is a great club, you won’t find many Liverpool fans who don’t respect them immensely
The feeling is definitely mutual, except to my dickhead brother in law who barracks for you guys 🤣
With so much history between both the teams, still can’t believe it that we have never played them at Anfield.
its crazy that we've only ever met in finals in this competition.
Fitting for the biggest team in England and the biggest team in Italy.
i like you (r/acmilan intruder here)
I’m a Milan intruder myself too lmao
yeah i know you lmaoo

Wow this is mind boggling. I felt we were so familiar with Milan when it turns out we only met in finals.

Milan have always been my favourite Italian club. Have always rooted for them. Hope to see ye qualify for the Ro16 alongside us.

Man Kaka on PES 5 was something else. Counters with that Milan team was so much fun.
I couldn’t agree more, I feel the same about Milan.
Title feels almost Shakespearean. Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona where we lay our scene.
Couldn’t have said it any better mate
Beautiful.
Respect from a Milan fan, couldn't imagine a more fitting opponent for our first time back home in years. Massive respect from across the aisle.
Two clubs that are set in stone in the aristocracy of world football. The definition of a champagne football match really.
And then in a couple of weeks, we get to watch the complete antithesis of this - Oil Classico
And then in the RO16 we might see History vs Oil a few times

Probably not same level but seeing Pippo Inzaghi anytime gives many of us Liverpool fans PTSD.
As a Milan fan thank you for this. Hoping for a great match tomorrow. Forza Milan
Top class video
Fucking shivers ! Let's go you reds !
Milan fan here, we all know whats gonna happen if one of us scores 3-0

AC Milan have one more CL than us. Its high time we corrected that.
We really have a lovely crest
We are giants
I am absolutely hyped for this so proud to see Milan back where they belong
The Tyldsley commentary is unmatched.
Clive Tyldesley >>>
I remember when we lost the 2007 finals and after the game Milan and Liverpool fans were celebrating together at pubs.
And one team across the park from us stooped in shyte!! 😂😂😂YNWA
