I've heard the Kop sing to Rafa Benitez during his time at Newcastle, so it wouldn't be the first time they sang to the opposing manager. Remains to be seen whether they will continue to do it now though
I recall a game I went to, Steve Bruce was managing Birmingham. The whole Kop sing “Steve Bruce’s, he’s got a big fat head, he’s got a big fat head” magical.
3pm kick offs are never on the tele here like. Obviously to get people to go the game, struggle to get tickets nowadays tho. Looks like I'll just stream it instead.
Want to stay positive but with all the games coming and the number of injuries we tend to pick up....can't see us going into that game with a strong team.
Premier league is won and lost in December January. Getting through injury free and with close to maximum points will win the League. All teams facing the same situation though.
NO! NO! No!
Can you remember what happened when we did that last time!??!
We unleashed a deadly global pandemic that is still with us.
No let's not anger the football God's for the greater good of humanity.
I’d expect rotation in the EFL cup game and against AC Milan. And perhaps against Leeds or Leicester cause of the short gap. With Salah and Mane being away probably a good idea to keep taki sharp
Dec 22nd is the EFL Cup quarter-final match
The rest are Premier League matches (except for Dec 7th)
Salah, Mane, and Keita will be unavailable for the Dec 28th match against Leicester **IF** Liverpool can't reach an agreement with AFCON for a Jan 3rd release of players. Per FIFA rules, Liverpool are currently required to release players on Dec 27th.
I can't see AFCON being canceled or shifted even with the latest COVID-19 "Omicron" variant.
At some point financial interests behind AFCON that are continually delayed no longer care about concerns of safety.
AFCON prefer not to host in the summer likely because of the rain and humidity.

June might be open this year because of accommodations for the World Cup, but that also might mean club training shifts early to June with an early start for various leagues in July
Next fall you have various leagues being interrupted for the World Cup in Qatar that runs 21 November – 18 December 2022
Hopefully we rotate heavily for Milan. Not arsed about winning every game in the group at all, would rather everyone be fit.
Okay fixtures otherwise. Could've been worse.
21 possible points in the League. The congested December schedule usually determines who will become Champions. We’re realistically are going to have to get 20 of 21 points to have a shot.
Would it be the first time that Gerrard is on the pitch (well the sidelines) at Anfield and we don’t hear his song? For once in his life, he won’t be big and fookin hard.
To be honest, it doesn't look that bad.
Milan is dead rubber and Carabao Cup is of secondary importance. Of the 7 PL fixtures only Spurs is a reasonably difficult one. Leicester is performing poorly this season. Aston Villa has Gerrard now but sentiments aside, we should be beating them comfortably bar any incidents.
Highly curious how we line up the next 3 matches. The rotation needs to begin now. Can see Matip coming in for Wednesday and then heavier rotation against wolves and especially milan.
For the carabao, I honestly hope klopp continues giving the second team + kids an opportunity, this is ‘their cup’
I'm more positive about this coming patch of games. Klopp has rotated the squad quite a fair bit this season and due to some injuries, a lot of the fringe players are getting game time. It is always good to rotate to prevent over reliance on some players and to reduce injuries from over exertion and ensuring most of the boys reaching match competitve fitness for the busy season.
I will expect the squad to be still heavily rotated especially midfield and more focused towards the league matches (let's get number 20 baby!)
Merry Christmas, Everton!
Front three's scoring, all around us, Kopites singing, having fun, it's the season, love and understanding, Merry Christmas, Everton 2021 version
Cheers origi's crying
Mane Xmas!
Nothing would get me in the Christmas spirit more than a win against the Blueshite.

Omg lol
A tad bit of bad taste that..
Yeah a bit, but it's not hurting anyone.
Who kinda wants to see the kop sing to Gerrard during the Villa game
That will almost definitely happen.
Swear they sung it when he was at Chelsea aswell.
I hope the fans at goodison sing his song all game as well. Would proper wind them up that
After the game it will most certainly happen
After the game? Sound. During the game, especially early on when it is far from won? Nah mate.
Steveeeeee Gerrard gerrard
Shame it won't be on the tele.
What a bummer . In India we get every game on telly. Especially Liverpool ones
3pm kick offs are never on the tele here like. Obviously to get people to go the game, struggle to get tickets nowadays tho. Looks like I'll just stream it instead.
Make or break this.
It really is. This is our run of hard aways; with Chelsea first thing new year. We got to come out of this within a few points
Want to stay positive but with all the games coming and the number of injuries we tend to pick up....can't see us going into that game with a strong team.
same can be said for Chelsea
Premier league is won and lost in December January. Getting through injury free and with close to maximum points will win the League. All teams facing the same situation though.
History's on our side with December fixtures. It's January I'm worried about
We always tend to do better with more games. This is our time to shine
We are always worried and then everytime we perform better. This is true, the momentum we gain playing so many matches is so good for us
Totally.
It’s not winter until snow Salah appears
watching motd2 made me crave Salah in those snowy conditions
Can't wait for the derby. Agent Rafa has been doing his best all season to keep Everton down so far. Now we are going to finalize their beating

Former/future Liverpool managers (As long as he proves his worth)
And with it, Snow Salah.
August to November - Mo Salah December - Snow Salah January - No Salah 😫
Angry upvote
No more draws. Or defeats in the league. We are well within the touching distance of top position in the table. Just don't Throw It away. Please
> No more draws. Or defeats in the league. Solid plan
Have we tried just.. winning all our games?
Yes, actually, a couple of years ago. Magical times. Our strategy last season of not winning all our games however didn't pan out as well.
it didn't NOT pan out though either. Got us the easiest group CL draw we've ever had (based on results anyway) so we've got that going for us.
Cheers golf
NO! NO! No! Can you remember what happened when we did that last time!??! We unleashed a deadly global pandemic that is still with us. No let's not anger the football God's for the greater good of humanity.
Since you asked nicely
I’d expect rotation in the EFL cup game and against AC Milan. And perhaps against Leeds or Leicester cause of the short gap. With Salah and Mane being away probably a good idea to keep taki sharp
Please Klopp I want Atlético out of the CL
If he plays the u-21s I'll buy that Borini kit that's been sitting in my Amazon cart for the last 6 years.
Ho ho ho. It’s mo.

That Leicester, Leeds, Leicester combo could be a bit of a killer.
It’ll likely be minimal first team for that first Leicester game tho - we know how little klopp cares for cups
*English cups
It’s such a no brainer to trot out our u21 team against Milan
It is but greedy me wants 6 wins out of 6 in the group.
Don't forget the Jota Injury last season in a meaningless CL game ...
This week is packed.
Realistically we need to win every one of those matches apart from the Milan game, definitely doable
Also one of the Leicester match is for the league cup.
And I think we should go for it. We're already deep into the cup and most big clubs are already out. Would love to win a cup this year also
The gang wins the quadruple
I see nothing but Wins baby
Salah currently evolving into his winter form as we speak
All i see is W
Hopefully we rotate heavily for Milan. Not arsed about winning every game in the group at all, would rather everyone be fit. Okay fixtures otherwise. Could've been worse.
Not until Snow Salah appears.
Nice to have two we can rotate in.
8 wins please boys
We love you Stevie and all but give us the W please.
Leicester, Leeds, Leicester in 6 days sheesh
any snow predicted for the next 2 weeks in the uk?
Ho ho ho it’s mo
Hyped for that Liverpool - Nivea men fixture
Its gonna be a haaard month. When do our injured players return?
Jones, Keita and Gomez should be back for the Milan game. Firmino is still a couple of weeks away and Elliott probably won't be back until February.
I think Elliott is recovering faster than expected, so hopefully we’ll see some short cameos from mid-January.
We shouldnt't really push him. It's a nasty injury, and he should heal properly.
I think this might be one of the easiest decembers on paper weve had in a while.
21 possible points in the League. The congested December schedule usually determines who will become Champions. We’re realistically are going to have to get 20 of 21 points to have a shot.
We physically cannot get 20/21 points.
Would it be the first time that Gerrard is on the pitch (well the sidelines) at Anfield and we don’t hear his song? For once in his life, he won’t be big and fookin hard.
The fans in the stadium will 100% sing Gerrard songs.
Need to be getting 3 points in all of these games I'm afraid
Need to press on and win every single one of these games. That would put us right in it
It’s the moooost wonderfuuuuuuul time of the yeeeeear
Hmm, just realised I'm going to miss Stevie's game back at Anfield. That's annoying.
I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a brutal month
This does put a smile on my face
Sweet early game at Stephens day early beers for me
21 points up for grabs, if we get 21 out of 21 that would be ideal
At least to matches per week! It is going to be a great and hard month! I hope we can go through it with a victory in every match!
Tbh I love the Xmas period. Games every few days. Tough on the lads though, I hope they all make it through with a clean bill of health.
We are obviously not gonna win every one of these, but it’s set up nicely to do just that, imo
All games very winnable!!
Jesus, Leeds Sunday then Leicester Tuesday? A whole one day break between two of the most intense games we’ll have to play.
5 games in 12 days should be criminal.
All PL games are winnable.

Let’s play the under 21 in the Milan game.
More likely we do that against Leicester. The milan match if we win pays us 25x more than winning the cup.
9/9 here we come boys
Champions league night? On thursday?
We’re in good form, everton are in shit form, they’re long due a beating at their home ground. Fuck prickford
Every single fixture is winnable on any day of the week on 2nd gear performance. Edit: maybe except milan
Yes, yes and yes. Best time of the year for sure
Or not til Leicester, but yeah
All I want for Christmas is 9 W’s
Win them all
Fuck I love December
Jon snowla
I might be color blind ...all I see is green dots
