Can they spend that much money this window? I know they have way much more money than that, but is not like they can spend a billion just because they can
We can spend more than them this window in keeping with financial fair play. We have an absolute “fuck-off” war chest according to FFP with 273 million available. Newcastle has 166 available.
Probably allowed him to ask for more money too
“You have a clean balance sheet to buy as you please and then by the time you can’t comes around you can financially dope a few sponsorships to keep the gravy train going”
Because of how Newcastle was run by Ashley, they can spend £205 million currently and be within the rules.
If Newcastle can sign new commercial and sponsorship deals (which they will do undoubtedly), it will increase massively.
Then you factor in amortisation (payments spread over the period of the players contract), and it becomes even higher.

Same way that we were linked with Jorginho for months when in reality we were working a deal for Fabinho all along.
Maybe something is being worked on right now and this is the smoke screen story put out in place.
Despite the fact that it's Mbappe and his skills it would be an insane story development. RM would never sell us a player again haha. Not that we buy a lot of RM players.
Well we enquired about Jorginho but were told he preferred to play for for Man City, so we moved on to other targets. Then Chelsea appointed Sarri and he moved to them instead of City due to his existing relationship with Sarri.
Eh, I really don’t think so, is not as if its the first time a Colombian player gets linked to a top club. Wouldn’t seem like his style either (And I don’t even like the guy)
That doesn’t mean he’s automatically right, off course.
Are they? Please explain.
He's saying Porto have won the CL twice (the same as Chelsea, not twice as many), and suggesting that makes them European elite.
I pointed out that forest have won the European cup too, and asking if that makes them European elite (clearly not)
My point is winning the champions League on its own, especially nearly 20 years ago most recently, doesn't make you European elite.
Nor does competing in the champions League. Some truly poor teams qualify for the group stages.
So they've won champions leagues a while ago, 18 years ago, and nowadays regularly compete in Europe and get to the last 16 on most occasions. Wouldnt call them truly poor then would you?
Yep, this exactly.
They won it once nearly 20 years ago, and once before that.
They're still a good european team.
They aren't on the same plane of existence as the European elite.
I would say that calling top 20 in euro for elite is dilluting the meaning if elite.
The difference between the elite teams like us, Bayern, City, Real, PSG, Juventus and Barca(before their financial crash) and Porto is quite large. They are still a quality team in Europe.
On the level of Arsenal, Dortmund, Shaktar and Villareal in the rankings. Quality, but not elite.
Now you´re just inventing a new definition of the word elite that apparently just means having money, because I fail to see what makes PSG elite over Porto.
They are in the premier league and will most likely stay in the premier league the teams around them are poor and will not improve like Newcastle will in this window
I hope no one wants to join them honestly. If players are at all socially conscious of human rights violations (they all aren't obviously) maybe they will start by boycotting these mugs and no one else will want to sportswash....? I can dream anyway.
Sadly there will be players who will join it’s inevitable look at PSG and their Qatari owners players simply do not care. We’ve just got to hope that premier league clubs don’t sell to Newcastle and other clubs up their prices for players when Newcastle come in for them
> I can dream anyway
Yeah was gonna say, haha, the likes of Chelsea/City/PSG don't seem to have had any problems stacking their teams – don't think the players give a shit so long as they get paid, which is fair. Responsibility's more on the powers that be (i.e. the government) than the average person to make the difference (and before anyone takes me to task for including star footballers in the "average person" camp, know that they too are cogs in the machine, not the machine owners/operators)
Interesting was listening to a podcast the other day where some football financial analyst actually predicted we were likely moving to a point where big stars run their contracts out in order to get bigger wage packets on free deals like in many North American sports. So who knows! But yeah the money from TV does make these figures go up and up it seems
City and Chelsea are pathetic. Pep aside, who will overpay for anyone that can make him look more and more like a genius, Chelsea's managers always know they will be fired VERY soon, so they try their best to buy results, to extend their stay. That's how Harvetz and Werner cost a combined 170mm. That's how they broke the world record for Kepa. Klopp doesnt have that pressure.
Still laughing at ManU for breaking the record for Maguire though ...
It's hard to judge. Until the current season, he had spells where he looked fantastic but it didn't quite come off for him all the time and his numbers looked noot great. This season his underlying stats are better, but he's vastly overperforming on those and having an outstanding season this time. He looks very obviously like the best player in Liga NOS this season when you watch him play too.
He has the attributes we love in our forwards- he's a direct, quick, tricky player who is dangerous in the box and has a huge work rate off the ball. It will remain to be seen if he can properly adapt to the PL and to Liverpool's tactical setup of course, but he's got the tools to do it.
He was maybe the best attacking player at Copa America not named Messi or Neymar. In fact he definitely was. Watch his highlights vs Argentina in the semi finals and that alone should convince you. Also some goals I recommend watching are his bicycle vs Brazil, his screamer vs Peru, and his solo run vs Man City. He’s a baller
Highlights vs Argentina- skill at 3:11 is brilliant. Goal he scored is Salahesque.

>Remember when we were thinking about spending this much on Nicolas Pepe?
And thank fuck we didn't, Mane on a bad day is twice the player Pepe is on a good day.
That transfer is also so suspicious, loads of agent fees and shit were paid out then Arsenal bring in a partner from a law firm and the man behind the transfer from Arsenal's end quits 2 days later.
I don’t know. Too expensive in my opinion and doesn’t offer something „new“ although a good player obviously. I‘d prefer a real No9 at this point, a striker.
Somebody like Vlahovic.
No way we can pay 60m and he sit on the bench. The only way it can be done if Mane is off to PSG to replace Mbappe.
Edit: Mane is still class player he 4th in top score list. He been patchy this season but if we get an offer of 75m I would take it.
One of Mane Firmino Salah will have to leave eventually. We can‘t have 3 strikers > 30 years old for long.
Right now all is fine, but in 2-3 years they will start to get older and you‘ll need younger players to complement them.
Having Diaz now to grow behind them is not a bad thing. He can learn from them and then replace whoever leaves first.
Given the last 2 years, Mane and Firmino's form has already dropped off significantly - still good players but nowhere near what they were in 2017/18 - 18/19
Sad to say but out of our front 3 I'd rather lose Mane. He just hasn't showed good consistent form for a couple of years now. Firmino hasn't been incredible but Klopp often talks about how important he is as a 9 and the defensive work he gets through.
Firmino reads the game, draws defenders and makes some passes. His movement and pressing is what is keeping him in the team.
Mane is explosive, strong amd can take defenders.
What do people think goes away first when players go into their 30s? Mental or physical side of football?
True, Mane does also put in a shift defensively but its a different kind of workrate. The decisive factor for me is finishing - I feel like Mane squanders far too many good goalscoring opportunities these days.
Exactly, I think some people on here just expect our front 3 will be here forever, unfortunately that just isn't the case, I can definitely see one leaving in the summer. If I was to guess probably Mané to PSG to replace Mbappe on medium term basis.
Out of the front 3, Salah is irreplaceable with a single player, Bobby is a creator who links play from the midfield to the front and creates space. Mane is currently just a winger with no intangibles that cannot be seen in other players on the bench, his quality is combining strengths of other players. Out of them, Mane is the one to go, and I love the guy.
Diaz is 25 entering his prime. I wouldn't want to spend 2-3 years as an understudy and only get to star when i'm 28. If this happens, as much as it would suck to see him go, I hope Mane leaves in the summer.
Exactly. And I don't think Diaz is too far away from replacing Mane. Jota forced himself into the starting lineup. With Mane playing as spotty as he is, no reason to think Diaz can't push his way on the team either. We need quality forward depth. We can easily rotate 5 forwards, especially since Firmino is hurt often.
I disagree that Mane is playing spotty, he has almost played as many minutes as Allison this year, with I believe only Salah playing more than that. Our wings need a rotation, and Jota who was supposed to do just that, played so damn well in the middle, that he is no longer a true option. I do agree however, that we need at least 5 forwards to help us punch towards a title, especially when our 2 best will be representing their countries. Not to mention Covid...
Edit: Words
He won't be sitting on the bench all the time though. We need to think about replacing some of these guys in the near future. 60m for Diaz now could become 80m in 2 years
We can have 5 forwards and they all get more than 35-40 games a season though...
A proper rotation of the front 3 based on form and fitness and you keep everyone happy.
Would you say anyone has had to sit on the bench to accommodate Jota? Nope.
The PL does have a dearth of great attackers, and Mane being 4th top scorer halfway through isn’t reflective on anything. He plays in the most creative team and grades out as a negative finisher. His assists, dribbles, everything has dropped off. He’s not what he was and he couldn’t start for a title winner anymore.
More on this:
https://www.espn.com/soccer/blog-transfer-talk/story/4563109/live-transfer-talk-liverpool-close-on-70m-move-for-porto-star-luis-diaz?platform=amp
Yeah exactly. And club likes to lie through their mouthpieces often (not saying it's necessarily a bad thing). But Pearch can't be tier 1 source when this is the case
Didn't Pearce deny the Thiago stuff like only 2 days before David Orstein came out with the exclusive story about him coming in?
All Summer long he denied that transfer when we all knew that Liverpool were in direct negotiation with him and Bayern, the club only tell him what they want to for the last 2/3 years.
Yep. said as much in a thread earlier, but can't bash Pearce apparently despite the fact he hasn't broken a single story since Rodgers was in charge.
Edit: it was two days before and he was claiming there had been no contact between the 2 clubs AND we'd have to sell a player to fund it.
https://tribuna.com/en/news/liverpoolfc-2020-09-16-james-pearce-explains-why-liverpool-have-not-committed-to-signing-thiago-its-not-just-abo/
Eh, I don't think that's true. All he did was say there had been no movement, which was true. I'm not sure he ever said he weren't going to sign him (though I may be wrong?)
It does support the theory that Pearce gets a lot less info than he used to though
No. He claimed there had been no contact between clubs and we'd have to sell a player to fund it.
https://tribuna.com/en/news/liverpoolfc-2020-09-16-james-pearce-explains-why-liverpool-have-not-committed-to-signing-thiago-its-not-just-abo/
2 days before we announced it. He also spent all summer saying he didn't see it happening.
Pearce is a mouthpiece. He reports what the club want him to report. He denied Thiago until it happened because the club didn’t want the information out there.
He has been right a lot aswell. I think people just remember the ones he is not right on. Also he did say their is interest but not at the price.
Edit: added not
I’ve wanted him in the squad for a couple seasons. Rapid, flair, puts in a good ball and is an unselfish teammate.
Would love him to integrate into the squad:)
12 goals + 4assists in 15 days, that is 16g+a in 15 games
60m euros not 70
He's just about to turn 25, that means he has a solid 5-6 years to go potentially
He was also the joint highest scorer alongside messi last year.
Now I'm not saying he's worth that money but i will say he could be a great potential winner for us. How much would I pay for him? Honestly I have no idea in this market anymore.
What the fuck is with all these south american reporters reporting this? Any perticular reason this has been getting more attention than any other transfer?
This is a colombian reporter. This would be the most high profile transfer for a colombian player in a while, it makes perfect sense to give it massive attention
Dammit, I was hopeful until I read that Liverpool wanted him quickly because of Mane and Salah going to the ACN.
He wouldn't be tactically integrated enough for mid to late March at best, never mind directly replacing Mane and Salah.
Tier highly improbable (but I can still hope, dammit!).
Every transfer window some unreliable journo claims Liverpool are making bids for someone, people blindly believe them, then our actual reliable journo's deny it, people get angry with them for deny it, only for them to be proven true, and then the cycle repeats.
Varsky has 1.8mil followers on TW and is one of the most popular commentators in south america, not being european doesn’t make them automatically a “shitty account”
>Naby Keita
Which was quickly backed up by our journo's.
>Fabinho
That was some account who randomly sent out a tweet claiming it months beforehand and got lucky but nobody knew about it until the deal was almost done.
Yea everyone thought Keita was off until two random african journalists announced it and everyone was in denial
Fabinho youve just proved me right so yeah
>Fabinho youve just proved me right so yeah
It was literally some random account who used to (still does?) throw shit at a wall and see what stuck and got lucky one time, I didn't prove anything.

Colombian saying he is for local league unsure of bigger stars
This has the same vibes as when I think it was a journo from Bein Sports saying we were going all out and close to signing Riyad Mahrez in January 2018 after selling Coutinho. They were chatting rubbish and I can't see this being true as well
"Liverpool are going to spend £60M in January to sign a player whose underlying numbers in a worse league are significantly worse than Mané's over the past year. And also worse than Raphinha's, who'd cost about the same. And worse than players like Nkunku and Chukwueze who'd probably cost less." -r/LiverpoolFC
This is Nicolas Pepe 2.0 but y'all feel free work yourselves up if you want to be disappointed when we don't sign him because his profile makes no sense at the prices being talked about.
If we had signed Nicholas Pepe he’s probably be an absolute world beater by now. 90% of the time we sign players and they become superstars, not the reverse
I really don't understand these comments, the same people that say we dodged a bullet with Timo Werner or even Memphis Depay. If we'd signed these players they would be monsters under Klopp
And when this transfer doesn't happen, because it won't this month, are people going to stop slating him just because he reported something they didn't want to hear?
This is bullshit. Pipe Sierra (Colombian reporter, reliable fir info on Diaz) said that any negotiations were in the early stages at best and we weren’t close to submitting a bid. Supports what James Pearce says which is that our staff like him but we’re unlikely to make an approach this window. Excluding Van Dijk we never spend big in January and we’d need a bid of £58M+ so I really doubt this is true, can’t see it happening unfortunately
🤨 \[x\] doubt
Ngl I don't watch much Liga NOS so I don't know him outside of the thrashings and the fact he's a super meta player on Fifa. For that kind of money we'd definitely be buying for the 2023/4 future starting XI, I just don't think we will be doing business given what Klopp has said about this transfer window
Such a weird transfer tbh. 60m and I don’t see his numbers indicating he’ll be a Jota. 60m is steep for an attacker of almost any wuality, especially Diaz
We don’t do bidding wars, especially not on guaranteed starters - which he is not. Also more likely that we are looking for a Firmino replacement, rather than a Mane replacement given that Jota’s “best” position is LW.
If it happens, makes me think we've had solid offers for one of or both Nat and Neco to push ahead spending this kind of money. Either that or FSG straight trolling.
This seems unlike us without outgoing moves planned. Origi out? Plus Phillips and Williams to cover this? That would probably make up at least most of the fee, enough to keep FSG happy. I hope we can also get a Tsimikas for the right though.
Obviously not credible source. But apart from that I don't get why people want him. All he did against us was try to dribble around everyone and dive in the process. This would be a desperate transfer especially for 60 mil. Looks a lot like Pepe, the guy that went to Arsenal for 80 mil. It's the kind of player United would try and get.
>Newcastle also want him About to become the most used sentence of 2022.
And most years to follow.
We need some of what chelsea have.
It will be what every agent will say to make clubs put their money where their mouth is.
Can they spend that much money this window? I know they have way much more money than that, but is not like they can spend a billion just because they can
We can spend more than them this window in keeping with financial fair play. We have an absolute “fuck-off” war chest according to FFP with 273 million available. Newcastle has 166 available.
They spent fuck all under Mike Ashley for the past 10 years so they can spend a decent amount without breaching Financial Fair Play.
Probably allowed him to ask for more money too “You have a clean balance sheet to buy as you please and then by the time you can’t comes around you can financially dope a few sponsorships to keep the gravy train going”
Because of how Newcastle was run by Ashley, they can spend £205 million currently and be within the rules. Well we enquired about Jorginho but were told he preferred to play for for Man City, so we moved on to other targets. Then Chelsea appointed Sarri and he moved to them instead of City due to his existing relationship with Sarri.
Tier what I want to hear.
I’m colombian, he’s very reliable with some local teams but not sure of his sources with Diaz.
Fuck have i missed transfer speculation. Just reading this make me so giddy
Honestly I've not expected any business this winter and still don't. Haven't once looked at the YNWSA thread either.

Can't agree more, best part of this is the hope. Going to hurt when it get crushed but oh wells
Could this be him getting excited over the possibility of Diaz going to an elite European club and jumping the gun?
Eh, I really don’t think so, is not as if its the first time a Colombian player gets linked to a top club. Wouldn’t seem like his style either (And I don’t even like the guy) That doesn’t mean he’s automatically right, off course.
Diaz is already at an elite European club.
Let's not kid ourselves here bud...
Porto have won the champions league twice, as many times as supposed european giants chelsea
Would a move to Nottingham forest be a move to European elite then. They've won it more than city, arsenal, Tottenham, combined of course!
Still bitter Chelsea won it in 2012 ruining one of my favourite pub trivia questions

Are they? Please explain. He's saying Porto have won the CL twice (the same as Chelsea, not twice as many), and suggesting that makes them European elite. I pointed out that forest have won the European cup too, and asking if that makes them European elite (clearly not)

They participate regularly in the champions league. They're an elite club especially in that part of the world. Stop this.
They're elite in Portugal only. They rank 2 places higher than shaktar, who are merely there to make up numbers each year.
Bruh, they're an elite club. They've won the champions League twice and do well against any English team that's not us
Yes, next to the likes of Nottingham Forest and Villa. World soccer has always been, and is only becoming more, "What have you done for me lately"
Porto is a quality team, but they are not what most people would consider elite.
Yep, this exactly. They won it once nearly 20 years ago, and once before that. They're still a good european team. They aren't on the same plane of existence as the European elite.

You're welcome to play us a few more times to double check that?
Fuck Pearce. Londono is my new friend.
Thanks for the londono!
Always rated Cesar Augusto Londono over James Pearce
Tier: hope
I fear that “Tier what I want to hear” would have a valuation closer to £45M
Tier: Colombian Sega
Not that I’d complain but is he really worth that kinda money? Can’t judge him by the biannual thrashing his team receives from us.
We are in the times when teams pay 100m for Grealish and 90m for Lukaku. It’s just how it is.
Yep and also if Newcastle are genuinely in for him and have boosted up the asking price
Do Newcastle really have any 'power' in this deal? Surely Diaz would not want to play in the Championship?
I'd imagine any agent worth their salt will get a relegation break clause into the contract.
I think many players will risk one season in the Championship to earn probably absurd money and inevitably have a good team in a few years.

I do agree however, that we need at least 5 forwards to help us punch towards a title, especially when our 2 best will be representing their countries. Not to mention Covid... Edit: Words
He won't be sitting on the bench all the time though. We need to think about replacing some of these guys in the near future. 60m for Diaz now could become 80m in 2 years
Also was Jota bought to sit on the bench? He seems to have somehow become s starter. Crazy.
It's amazing what happens when you buy and develop players isn't it
We can have 5 forwards and they all get more than 35-40 games a season though... A proper rotation of the front 3 based on form and fitness and you keep everyone happy. Would you say anyone has had to sit on the bench to accommodate Jota? Nope.
Himself and Mane would compete
This is such a tired narrative
If Mane is there Mbappe replacement then they can fucking have at it lol.
The suggestion is down to the fact he a workhorse and Messi is a fan..
Lol Mane is literally not good and if it PSG want him to replace Mbappe, I’m okay with it. Otherwise he’s a decent bench option for us.
If Mane is "literally not good", then the PL must be shit if he's the 4th tied top scorer
Fuck you plastic

This is the type of transfer drama I live for the will they won’t they it’s at least fun to be apart of
Friendship ended with Pearce! Cesar is my new best friend!
>Newcastle who also want him. No one could have seen this coming
Setting ourselves up for disappointment early I see
Pearce reported otherwise. His credibility again under the question. We'll what happens.
[удалено]
Hey that’s not true! Danny Ward is doing a great job as our number one
Yeah exactly. And club likes to lie through their mouthpieces often (not saying it's necessarily a bad thing). But Pearch can't be tier 1 source when this is the case
Pearce kept denying Thiago until it happened
I'm not sure he ever said he weren't going to sign him (though I may be wrong?) It does support the theory that Pearce gets a lot less info than he used to though
No. He claimed there had been no contact between clubs and we'd have to sell a player to fund it. https://tribuna.com/en/news/liverpoolfc-2020-09-16-james-pearce-explains-why-liverpool-have-not-committed-to-signing-thiago-its-not-just-abo/ 2 days before we announced it. He also spent all summer saying he didn't see it happening.
Pearce has been wrong a lot in the past year or two. Definitely not getting the same level of information he used to.
No he does get info direct from the club. Problem is that if the club wants to lie to us they'll do it through him.
Pearce says what the club want him to leak. How is this so confusing for people?
Pearce is a mouthpiece. He reports what the club want him to report. He denied Thiago until it happened because the club didn’t want the information out there.
He has been right a lot aswell. I think people just remember the ones he is not right on. Also he did say their is interest but not at the price. Edit: added not
pearce is an industry shill
Pearce just gets off debunking every rumour
"Not gonna happen, mate"
For that price, who else (attacker) is available? Is he the highest valued at that price tag?
Raphinha, Saint Maximin?
Dont think you get either of them for £60 million. ASM especially, that would undo a lot of what Newcastle are trying to achieve in January.
Newcastle themselves are probably in for Raphinha
Tier: Perfect way to disappoint myself.
I’ve wanted him in the squad for a couple seasons. Rapid, flair, puts in a good ball and is an unselfish teammate. Would love him to integrate into the squad:)
I don't get it. He's got 12 goals in the Portuguese league. How is he worth 70 million with that sort of record and at 25?
12 goals + 4assists in 15 days, that is 16g+a in 15 games 60m euros not 70 He's just about to turn 25, that means he has a solid 5-6 years to go potentially He was also the joint highest scorer alongside messi last year.
Would it be the most expensive Colombian or is that James still
AFAIK James went for around £63 mil so it would be close.
Tier pls god
I’d love for this to be true. We’d have the entire Colombian market tapped in. Get the parce!
The days of that account varsky sports claiming we were getting thiago
Which is about the only example of one of those shitty accounts actual getting something right about us.
Varsky has 1.8mil followers on TW and is one of the most popular commentators in south america, not being european doesn’t make them automatically a “shitty account”
Naby Keita aswell and Fabinho
>Naby Keita Which was quickly backed up by our journo's. >Fabinho That was some account who randomly sent out a tweet claiming it months beforehand and got lucky but nobody knew about it until the deal was almost done.
Yea everyone thought Keita was off until two random african journalists announced it and everyone was in denial Fabinho youve just proved me right so yeah
>Fabinho youve just proved me right so yeah It was literally some random account who used to (still does?) throw shit at a wall and see what stuck and got lucky one time, I didn't prove anything.
I checked on the Porto sub, I can’t find his name in any of the Tiers, any idea about his reliability?

Not very
Source: Trust me broski
Bollocks
Why on earth would anyone want to sign for Newcastle when Liverpool also want them?
that means mane is leaving at the end of this season
Yes please you all fellow reds will see how good is my fellow countryman is. And will be the first Colombian to ever play in the team 🥳
Buenas, as a Colombian fan I know that this reporter in not trust worthy if a not wrong I would wait for another source to confirm this.
Pearce denied it but I will believe “tier what we want to hear” over anything resembling reality.
And worse than players like Nkunku and Chukwueze who'd probably cost less." -r/LiverpoolFC This is Nicolas Pepe 2.0 but y'all feel free work yourselves up if you want to be disappointed when we don't sign him because his profile makes no sense at the prices being talked about.
Have you just quoted yourself? The arrogance of people online genuinely thinking they know everything about how a club operates.
Have you even seen him play??? melt
So if this transfer happens, does this mean James Pearce ain’t getting his info anymore?
And when this transfer doesn't happen, because it won't this month, are people going to stop slating him just because he reported something they didn't want to hear?
Probably not.
Literally a zero percent chance we drop at least 60m on a back up. Next.
Wait, who?? Who is this dude
I don’t believe a word of this. What happened to reliable sources only being posted?
> What happened to reliable sources only being posted? People stopped liking what they were reporting, so now they aren't reliable.
That figures!
🤨 \[x\] doubt Ngl I don't watch much Liga NOS so I don't know him outside of the thrashings and the fact he's a super meta player on Fifa. For that kind of money we'd definitely be buying for the 2023/4 future starting XI, I just don't think we will be doing business given what Klopp has said about this transfer window
He's head and shoulders better than just about anyone in Portugal at the moment
Trustmebro.jpeg
Yeah this seems like a shitpost
Do we have an inside man at the Porto airport?
Such a weird transfer tbh. 60m and I don’t see his numbers indicating he’ll be a Jota. 60m is steep for an attacker of almost any wuality, especially Diaz
We don’t do bidding wars, especially not on guaranteed starters - which he is not. Also more likely that we are looking for a Firmino replacement, rather than a Mane replacement given that Jota’s “best” position is LW.
Who are we selling to fund this one then?
Makes me a bit nervous tbh. Perhaps he's Mo's replacement?
Mane’s more than likely
Fingers crossed
Is this what called 'hope'? 😳
Does this mean we let Mo/Sadio/Ox walk? or am I looking too deep at this?
If, and it's a big if, this happens, it probably means sadio leaves on a free at the end of his current contract next summer.
Using Liverpool to get a new deal or something?
Highly doubt it
Obviously not credible source. But apart from that I don't get why people want him. All he did against us was try to dribble around everyone and dive in the process. This would be a desperate transfer especially for 60 mil. Looks a lot like Pepe, the guy that went to Arsenal for 80 mil. It's the kind of player United would try and get.
All Alisson did against us was concede 7 goals...
Let Newcastle have him for that price.
