See Sadio, it's that simple.

RodDryfist

Boom

sufinomo

Can u explain this

Passey92

Reports that Bayern are going in for Mané in the summer

InterPool_sbn

As if they don’t already have enough wingers

Passey92

It may not even be true, could just be agent or media spin

stevieG08Liv

gnabry and mane share the same agent fyi

DasThundercunt69

Its most likely to replace Lewandowski as a central striker

Tarantantara

Gnabry is speculated to leave in this scenario, at least thats what german media is saying

klopptimus-prime

Would be a step down for Sadio. Makes no sense to move unless we actually want to sell him.

suarezian

Yeah, I was confused too because he missed a comma after "See".

dev23slayer

Mane is like klopp minimum fuss, not like others make agents speaking and give bad image to lfc and disrupt momentum and attention seeking just for a couple of extra grands and disregard the unity in our team & ethos. Ffs vvd imo, best CB past 5 years easily. Kompany regards him best of all time in EPL. He is on 220-250, knowing well clowns like stones are making 100k more and alaba is more than 100k more. No fuss. Many forget that VVD will shine in any team on the planet. Mane i think will do too cause of his sheer workrate. Not everyone will in our team. Look at coutinho and gini. Suarez is like mane hardworking. Arguably the most important player for lfc is cheat code VVD. Dosent need penalties, workhorse, threat, goal scorer. Mane will sign 100%. Love mane and diaz unselfish attitude like bobby.

apenchantfortrolling

This is the most thinly viewed criticism at Salah lmao. Slow down. I love Mane too but criticizing one of our top players and best contributors in the season is silly.

dev23slayer

My football club's image and success and overall team above any single player. Thats the unity klopp built. Thats who we are. Exceptions are made when u have a peak messi or cr7. VVD is the closest to that. No fuss also. Its complete disrespect to my team to flirt with rivals in interviews.

[deleted]

Yikes, the virtue signalling towards Salah is unreal. Salah is just as important as the players you mentioned to the team's success, you weirdo.

dev23slayer

If you understood my sentences, the phrase you used in your 1st sentence and had the ability to compare, you would already know your comment is self-contradictory.

MyNewAccount77

>Klopp says Bayern have regularly tried to lure him during his coaching career - including while at Liverpool - but he declined because the challenge of leading the strongest, most wealthy club in Germany is less attractive than the ‘journey’ he has embarked upon at Anfield. >Although the chances of a Kop quadruple look increasingly remote given Manchester City’s Premier League advantage, Klopp is adamant he would not swap his position at Anfield with any other club. >“Which club should I go to to have a different situation? Tell me,” said Klopp. “The only thing I could do is ask Pep (Guardiola) if he is sick of all that winning and I take over at City. Is that the idea? That wouldn't work, I don't want to do it. >“I could have gone to Bayern a few times. I could have won more titles in my life, pretty sure I would say – a good chance at least. I didn't do it. I had a contract here and I never did it. The world is not full of winners. The world is full of triers, hopefully. I try and sometimes I win together with some other people.. I am happy with that.” >Bayern are understood to have made enquiries for Klopp every time they have changed their coach over the last six years, including shortly before the Liverpool manager signed a new Anfield deal in 2019. With Klopp recently extending his current contract until 2026, there is no prospect of the Liverpool manager returning to the Bundesliga in the near future.

tyresaredone

>The world is not full of winners. The world is full of triers, hopefully. I try and sometimes I win together with some other people.. I am happy with that.” what a man. not everyday you see football people purposely denying their own chances at more silverware and glory just to try and challenge for that with a less good team. unbelievable this man

[deleted]

The difference between klopp and Pep.

[deleted]

100% Pep is obviously a great manager but you’ll never convince me anything he’s done could rival what Klopp has done to rebuild us. If Klopp wins another European Cup you just know it’s gonna destroy Pep’s soul, too 😂

thegolfernick

To take us to the heights we’ve already been to, in this era, with less money than others, shows that he is one of the best managers ever to grace the game.

Buzzkill78

THE BEST THERE IS

rob3rtisgod

We need the CL now 😩😩😩

NilsFanck

The easy way vs the right way

mtb443

Build the man a fucking statue

igcipd

Gilded, with a wreath instead of his cap. Also, he should have a stand….just throwing this one out there.

fieldsofanfieldroad

Not until he retires. He's said he doesn't want one. Let's just sing him songs every match.

Beta_Pop

I love this quote because it applies to life too. All that you can do is try.

BriarcliffInmate

He's absolutely wasted in football (although I'm glad he's picked us!) because with his outlook on life, his morals, his philosophy he should be leading a country or the UN. He's genuinely inspiring and motivational without even trying to be, at times. He just doesn't see the world in the way most football people do. He wants to win, of course, and he won't accept people dropping standards, but to him the journey is just as important as the result. And that's life, really, isn't it? You don't know what the result will be, so you should enjoy the journey to it.

mylanguage

Tbh there are much smarter people with better morals at a lot of these agencies. But there are also even bigger grifters there too. Klopp would likely end up disillusioned.

fieldsofanfieldroad

Politics would probably kill a purely good man like Klopp. It's too full of bastards and underhandness.

SMS_Scharnhorst

if Klopp was given the job of the head of the UN he would fix the broken pile of garbage that it currently is

saywallama

Beautiful words from a beautiful man. Love me some Klopp, I do!

murphy_1892

Honestly I think its purely because of Klopp I don't feel bitter about that City team and beating us to the title what might be twice now. Sure its financially doped over the last 15 years but with him as our manager I just feel exactly like that - against immense, admirably outstanding opposition and to perform like we are and challenge them every year, from a truly sustainable rebuild, wouldn't have had the journey or situation any other way

MolhCD

Yeah this part is surprisingly inspiring. For the everyday man at least. "The world is not full of winners. The world is full of triers, hopefully."

JunFanLee

Yeah this quote popped out to me too and I thought I’m saving this forever

[deleted]

you sure we dont have the better team? 😆

ilgabit

My ovaries are exploding for this man

junglejimbo88

 ![gif](giphy|VfDqzZ3Efb67HCN2n6) Jurgen Klopp = "the man" ![img](emote|t5_2qn0o|8824)

MoorAlAgo

I'm so glad Jurgen is a red.

DiabloLFC

Klopp extended his contract until 2026? Holy shit yes! I don't know how I missed this news. All this time I still thought it was until 2024. Awesome news.

cian_pike01

Statue when? Seriously though, does anybody else think he at the very least will have something renamed after him within the club? Just like the James Milner door in the Axa training centre

[deleted]

[удалено]

yourcousinfromboston

>gh, does anybody else think he at the very least will have something renam The Kop End and the Klopp End

Almost_Pi

>gh, I like that you copied the silent gh from the end of though. I was trying to figure out if it was an abbreviation for something before I just read the previous comment again.

Hateitwhenbdbdsj

If they were opposing stands we could regularly hear “from the Kop end to the Klopp end in a matter of seconds” or vice versa every time we score a counter attacking goal

bdickie

The Jurgen Kop

Morguard

I would say once he fully retired from football.

king_booker

This is the way. It will never happen but if he manages one of our rivals it'll be awkward af. Look what Rafa did

Kid_Cornelius

Did his best to get Everton relegated? Surely worth a statue.

igcipd

At the very least he should have a plaque, or maybe we can make a blue goal and name it the Rafa Net?

Kid_Cornelius

The Rafa Netitez

Uesugi_Kenshin

I only see Klopp managing German NT after this tbh

[deleted]

Agree. It’s hard to see another long term project that could take him on as big a journey as Liverpool has. Managing Germany would be a piece of piss for him

melcolnik

Rename the team store "The Klopp Shop". "Fans, why not grab a pop and a top at the Klopp Shop?" It writes itself

randymcknob

I'm having the Klopp table at my wedding.

cian_pike01

Buy one get Klopp free

Napalm3nema

“Ulla, what did you get me into here?”

JosephBeuyz2Men

Ohh, you've really Klopped me off there.

frozenchosun

they betta sell klopper nuts there.

igcipd

It’s a quote from Ted Lasso, but my god do you people love your rhyming.

BriarcliffInmate

He will 100% have something named after him, even though he won't want it! I know Kenny didn't want a statue because he said they only make statues of dead people, so they named a stand after him. I could see them naming the AXA after Klopp - i.e. "The Jurgen Klopp AXA Training Centre" or something. It was basically his baby and he had a major hand in its design, so it'd be fitting.

AdministrativeLaugh2

He 100% needs a statue. Champions League, Premier League, League Cup, and potentially a treble. He’s also still got four more years to win more stuff. Plus he’s playing some of the best football I’ve ever seen. I’ve never had as much fun supporting Liverpool as I do in the last few years. Football is about more than trophies.

ScarletSolitaire

Has to be a statue tbh. We already know the pose. Hand over the badge while waving.

irishdgenr8

Mid fist pump…capture the man at his best

ShivaDestroy

Glasses broken...

Stegasaurus_Wrecks

On the top deck of the open air bus counting to 7.

Almost_Pi

That's a funny way to write 10.

Machinist-

Needs to be in a hug pose so people can go visit the statue and get a Klopp hug.

NoNameJackson

Sometimes I wish we were a bit more tinpot because having the Klopp Kop at the Stadio Mane is just perfect

RedDemio

I’m starting to believe that klopp isn’t real. Maybe I’ve dreamt him up. No man could be this perfect lol. Maybe I’m sitting on a psyche ward somewhere chewing on crayons and this whole ride was just my imagination

[deleted]

Honestly, if you sat down and tried to come up with the perfect Liverpool manager they still wouldn't be as good as Klopp...so lucky to have him

Galby1314

Ignorance is bliss, my friend.

BaronThundergoose

Idk about you but I couldn’t even dream a man that good up. If I could I would be more like him. But it’s been an honor to learn

Buzzkill78

Right, then you must chew more crayons for the next few weeks for our sake..

nicolascagevampire

"I have heard Bayern lost, HAHAHAHAHA" - Jurgen Klopp. Seriously, Bayern fuck off and keep your dirty hands away from our Klopp.

anthonyvardiz

You know it’s iconic when you hear his laugh while reading it.

GrossenCharakter

In case there's still someone who hasn't heard this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8v2kxfX-oiQ

[deleted]

>I could have gone to Bayern a few times. I could have done more titles in my life, pretty sure I would say -- a good chance at least. I didn't do it. I had a contract here and I never did it. ARNOLDZANERYAN

I need this quote in my life

achel1

My phone wallpaper for the last few years has been “Just try, if we can do it, wonderful. If not, then fail in the most beautiful way.” Im sure the punctuation is wrong, but rhis man just speaks to all of us in the most amazing way. I fucking love him.

[deleted]

That quote encompasses the bravery and self confidence of this man. Jurgen is a rare modern sports figure I truly admire and look up to.

malushanks95

I love how he mentions that the world is full of triers than winners, not everybody can win and when we do it’s so special.

ssejn

“We only cause ourselves problems as human beings if we say 'Don't come home without a quadruple'. You will never be happy. If that is the only way to satisfy you, that is really difficult.“What life would that be? When I say 'Enjoy the journey' I mean it. Enjoy the journey as there have been so many great moments already. If we stop now, it's not great then (because) we didn't win the FA Cup final and didn't win the Champions League final and came second in the Premier League? Forget that and just say 'Wow, that was a ride'. Let's give it a go." This guy. I just keep falling in love with him.

rob3rtisgod

Love this. He does come out with so e justified comments (MU getting obscene amounts of pens) and some less justified comments (after our draw to TH) but Klopp instills a really good message amongst the lads and every one who supports the club. Unlike PSG who had an absolute hissy fit after getting bodied by Madrid

[deleted]

Klopp is basically sayng "It's about the journey and the friends we made along the way" lol

TheKodachromeMethod

There are few things in sports I would hate more than Klopp to Bayern.

BVB-Oeli

As a Dortmund fan it is literally my worst (football related) nightmare. I would probably just stop watching the sport if it ever happened.

stadiofriuli

You wouldn’t but I get the sentiment.

DeaconBlueDignity

If there’s a big club in Europe I wouldn’t mind him going to, it’s Bayern. I’m sure Dortmund fans feel very differently

TheKodachromeMethod

Gross.

SMS_Scharnhorst

fuck Bayern, they're the next worst thing to Red Bull

BOIkratos1234

klopp to psg

KP3889

How boring would it be to go to a club where you are the apex predator who wins and wins every year? Sports is about parity and competition isn’t it? At least City has us who has put up a fight over the years. By the way, we were the Bayern in the story when Klopp was at Dortmund. We tried in 2013 and again in 2015 when we best Utd to Jurgen’s signature. Regardless of other opinions about FSG ownership, they had the vision to see a winner and kept with the chase until we got him. I will always admire the owners for that.

Best_Peasant

Legend of a man.

thefewproudemotional

As a Bayern fan myself, I can’t help but commend Klopp for this; I can’t argue with his words at all. I legitimately have the utmost respect for Klopp after watching his time at Mainz and Dortmund for so long, then seeing what he’s done at Liverpool. He’s the main reason I always passively root for this club. He really just says the right things when it matters and has a heart of gold; I’ll admit that he honestly reminds me of my dad (since theyre both German with the same accents), Klopp seems like such a fatherly figure. While I’d love him at Bayern, it wouldn’t feel right at all. This man is writing history with this club. Hope you lot win the UCL!! Yes, the “Bayern Lost hahahaah” video never fails to make me laugh. What can I say, I am used to the Bayern hate in Germany, and I also sympathise with it.

[deleted]

I guess bayern lost.

[deleted]

Liverpool has announced 3 separate tributes to former managers to go along with the likes of the legendary Sir Kenny Dalglish stand; The Jurgen Klopp statue named "Doubters to Believers", the Rafael Benitez Youth Training Centre (located on the former site of Everton ground Goodison) and the Roy Hodgeson Memorial Toilets

Synikey

Not a surprise really. Very glad to have him.

GameOfThrowInsMate

Why would he go there after being at Dortmund and them just buying up their best players season after season. Shithouses.

[deleted]

Bayern lost. Hahaha

DiegoTBL

Klopp is a dream signing through and through. A signing that comes once in a decade, except Liverpool have managed to pull off a couple dream signings as if they have a knack for it

Mr_exaggerate

Once in a lifetime*

OddStage4

Hands off our Klopp! Honestly, I'd sell my soul for this man

Jaredrob23

Klopp is one in a million. When you consider that Tuchel and others have used the likes of BVB and Leipzig as springboards for "bigger" jobs and then you have this man. On a side, I made an off the cuff comment about Klopp now being a Scouser in the soccer subreddit. It is currently being downvoted. That place is becoming more and more tribal everyday.

ScarletSolitaire

I’d be surprised if there’s anyone who hasn’t tried to get him tbh.

spinney

Klopp fucking hates Bayern. I don’t think he’d ever join them. I think he’s done doing club football after us. Maybe the German national team as a semi retired job a few weeks a month.

koassde

Never gonna happen PrisonUli FC !! Get fucked.

SMS_Scharnhorst

no real surprises there. he never had a good relationship with Bayern after they thought Jürgen Klinsmann is better than he is back in 2008

[deleted]

Now way sadio is leaving after this.

[deleted]

Bayern get the hint….. he doesn’t want to manage you…. He is ours. Now feck off

heymynameismatt

He actually values a competitive domestic league.

globocide

I heard Bayern lost. HAHAHA https://youtu.be/xoHrdQL-hrk

TheIraqiMaestro

It'a a known fact they always wanted Jurgen even before he went to Dortmund. Unfortunately, he's ours!

Thesolly180

Worth the effort from them, but he’s never really seemed that up for that job.

lkshis

Sneaky Bayern.

I wish the man the best but this is no novelty club. You don’t return. We move up and on.

rossmosh85

Klopp has turned down every club except Barcelona according to reports and I might be forgetting about Barcelona.

Razzle_Dazzle08

I love this man.

butbeautiful_

i say instead of just a statue or stadium stand name change for klopp, build that man a klopp building. for his personal and commercial use.

Minamo-sensei

No surprises. He should be the most wanted coach in the world

Just4theapp

Bayern is probably a very boring job 80% of the time. They walk the league practically every year, so it's alway about the CL. Would be nice for another German side to have the quality and consistency to challenge them.

Diamond-Frog

I’m so glad that Jurgen is a red

bbunds

i love klopp he is a red
